The breakfast is horrible. The coffee and hot chocolate have no taste at all. The music is so loud all day and night long. Never again!

I will put some photo and everybody into thinking about holiday on this hotel because the photo explain everything , room is very dirty raining inside I change three rooms and seven days because one is very dirty one two days no electricity on the room put the photo should be clean everything for you guys and food is the same every day

Absolutely loved the hotel the staff are fantastic and make you feel very welcome would definitely come back again :) entertainment crew were fab as well best holiday ever shame we have to go back to England in the cold …………………………………………..

This hotel is all about the staff! The whole staff team are very friendly welcoming and accommodating! From Wiem on reception to Taher and Monuir at the bar Salwa and the spa team every staff member including the cleaners were amazing! For a budget hotel the welcome is 5* In the words of Taher the Tunisian barman LOVELY JUBBLY!! Funnily enough he actually looks like Del-boy! :-) The location is good not directly on the beach but a 2 minute stroll however the hotel has great sea views on most sides. There’s no a lot to do in and around the hotel apart from having spa days so if you just want sun and to chill it’s ideal. Not the most cleanest or modern hotel but you get more than your monies worth overall with the all inclusive packages.

Unfortunately the negatives outweigh the positives in my opinion about this hotel. Positives. Restaurant staff, bar staff and animation are great. Taher at the bar is lovely. Carlos and dadou in animation are brilliant. Cleaners are always cleaning also and the bed was comfortable also sea view room had a good view but didn't get much sun. Negatives really come from the other nationalities having absolute no control or care over there children. He have a boy and he always behaves himself however these children spitting in food and soup, taking bobbles from there hair and putting it on there wrist and not using tongs causing the hair to go in the food. They push past in queues, lush in the elevators without giving you a chance to get out and bring the cats from outside into the elevators to walk round the floors of the hotel. If the parents aren't going to keep control the hotel needs to say something. The other thing is the shop owner if you are interested in buying something keeps saying don't worry I give you good price. I don't care about this I want to know the price that's it. Why so secretive. On top of this the woman in the shop wanted 20gbp for herself as she believes she gave us a good deal. She tried to look in my wife's purse and said well do you have the money now. That is out of order. If she agrees the price she doesn't need to be rewarded for giving that people that price. The beach is across the road and has a security guard which is good. We have heard stories of people going last in scooters and trying to take money from people when they are at the atm. Also stories of people watching and describing tourists to shops owners and taxi drivers who are coming there direction. This is no reflection on the hotel directly but just be warned.

It’s been a brilliant stay here we came on the 9th of December for a week lovely hotel..rooms are cleaned everyday..we met some very nice people on our stay especially Joe dadu Hamid dining staff very lovely and friendly.. great location and easy to get around x

So, we have stayed at the Golden Tulip from 24th - 28th November 2024. It's important to note our stay was out of season, so a lot quieter than I would imagine in season. BE PREPARED TO TIP- yes your holiday cost you a lot, but this is a country where the division of wealth is poor and you should tip where you get a service and can afford it. Location - not terrible, 3 mins walk from the beach if you walk like you only have one leg. Food - on the whole, excellent food . Flavours are good and seems of good quality, however, to echo other comments, there are corpses that have been warmer at times. Enjoyable elements were the fresh omelette and some of the desserts. Clear dietary information provided Service - On the whole, service was impeccable throughout and I have no issues. Hotel features - Hotel was clean and tidy,energetic staff who were keen to please and do their best. Free, good quality WIFI available in all areas. Features 2 outdoor pools and 2 indoor ones (one big, one small). Would return for winter sun again.

Had a blast here. Everyone is so chilled and welcoming. Food is great and there is so much to do animation. Bar is great and beer is frosty. Shame it's my last day. View is great and hotel is really close to the beach and mokhtar ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Please check the pics. I should nit add anything. I wasted my time complaining over my holidays to Riu Vacanze Granai, Tour operator Eden Viaggi, to a guest relations manager, director hotel and reception,when I wanted just unwind and switch off. I have been in Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey, Oman a lot of times. First time happens to me we got 4 on 4 intestinal virus, we found lack of hygiene, they did not clean the table cloths after it was used by a different customer, I have seen a waiter checking used (by a previous customer )cutleries and put them back into the drawer!! Ready to reset the table !! The sea is amazing but look at the pics of the beach! Awful. Guest relations manager did what he did but the hotel us not refurbished!!!! At all. We found cockroach in the rooms. We spoke to other italian customers and we all complained about the lack of hygiene in the restaurant. Lukewarm food never hot and bacteria are going to reborn! Cross contamination:they used the same tongs to cook row chicken and cooked food!!! This is the foundation guys! Do you want your guest get sick? Got it! From the website the hotel locks nice and new. The Riu Vacanze Agency Granai in Rome say it is refurbished! Eden Viaggi took money clearly to put it in their website, we know how the business works. Do not go there if you want a nice and comfortable holiday as it should be.
