Dusit Thani Maldives

The trip of the lifetime! Our butler Hassan made our stay smooth. Our daughter had ear pain on the first night and the Doctor gave her all she needed to recover. The island is gorgeus, the house reef is wonderful and you can see the underwater life at your first step to the ocean. We loved the food and honestly the helpers around us: Obbs, Alex, Bob, Mona, Saeed, Kabi, Pabi made our stay unforgettable! I was literally crying when we needed to return to Europe! I absolutely recommend the luxury villa with pool for families with children! Our daughter fell in love with Kids club and still talks about it. Seaplane absolutely worth it to Dusit Thani it is very funny and amazing view.

What a great escape from the city to Maldives. The resort is always the best choice for relaxing and enjoying warm Maldivian culture with Thai heritage. Unique location at Baa Atoll gives the possibilities of the best snorkeling and observe marine animals in pure azure waters. Service is over the expectations as butler was very attentive and prompt to assist. Dusit Thani Maldives has many varieties of international food in outlets and meal were so delicious. Thank you for this stay the Team!

This was our second visit to Dusit and it was all we hoped for and more. This is a world class resort hotel, in a beautiful island location, outstanding service true to it’s Thai roots, fantastic amenities, mouth watering food offering, natural beauty in and surrounding the island unbeatable team who genuinely care about guest satisfaction. We knew what to expect when returning but we’ve never considered returning to a hotel we’ve been before where we’ve had an amazing first time experience for the fear of ruining it should things not live up to it’s previous experience. We took the plunge nonetheless given we wanted to guarantee a great holiday and the gamble truly paid off. We spent 8 glorious nights and can happily say that yes, there’ll be a third time at some point in the future. Arrival and sea plane Perhaps it was our slightly early arrival, but we couldn’t see a Dusit rep at the arrival with any signs, having visited before and knowing what to do, we walked over to find the little booth and soon found the rep who quickly assisted us and took us to the waiting lounge for the sea plane. It was our first time experiencing the newly built sea plane lounge, and Dusit has its own lounge. As you’d expect, very clean and luxurious with light refreshments, coffee/ tea and soft drinks on offer. Good WiFi also available with shower and toilet facilities. Check in was also completed at the lounge avoiding the need for wasting even a few precious minutes in the island itself. Our hour or so wait for the sea plane went quickly. The hostess soon confirmed that it was time for our departure and we took a short walk down within the terminal to the waiting area, followed by the outdoor walk into the seaplane. Ahhh, the sight and sound of TMAs fleet, it’s the Maldives calling. Short 35-40 minutes flight and we are here!! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces who would otherwise not be part of the welcome party at the arrival jetty wanting to make it special for us. Later we found out that upon knowing of our return, some of them had requested management time to be allowed to be there. This is an example of the personal touches which differentiates this resort from some of the others we’ve personally been to. Lots of hugs and smiles, we were soon reminiscing our first time with cold towels, a refreshing drink and a Lemmon grass scented welcome garland. Room We had booked and requested a beach villa as we preferred that side for the ease of snorkelling, villas as expected. The style of the room is a mix of Thai style with a Maldivian theme. Well appointed room with all of the expected amenities. Lovely welcome home message and bottle of bubbles. The outdoor shower as tropical as we’d remembered it. All of the toiletries you’d expect from a 5 star property was all in place. The resort is big on sustainability and it was nice to see evidence of it throughout including smarties in the room.
