I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Mumbai and was completely disappointed, especially with the front office staff. While the check-in process was smooth, the service from the staff left much to be desired. There was no politeness from any of the team members I interacted with—they seemed to be rushing around without so much as a smile, which made the atmosphere very unfriendly.
One particularly shocking issue was with the key card holder they gave me. It was clearly reused, and the name of a previous guest, "Bhatt," was still visible on it. I couldn’t believe they would hand out an old card holder without properly clearing or replacing it. This level of carelessness is just unprofessional for such a renowned hotel chain.
Additionally, there was a staff member who helped me with my luggage upon arrival, but for the next three days, he couldn’t even recognize me. Whenever I smiled or greeted him, he would turn his head and avoid eye contact. Unfortunately, I don’t remember his name, but his rude and indifferent behavior was shocking.
For a brand like Holiday Inn, this level of service is unacceptable. I’ve stayed at many Holiday Inns around the world and have never had such a bad experience. The lack of basic courtesy and professionalism at this location was truly disappointing.
I do not recommend this hotel based on my experience.
