Service at Bayerischer Hof starts outside, when arriving by car: They take care of your luggage and take the keys to park your car. Reception is very friendly, helpful and effectively under the Corona-Regulations, to provide a good room for you. Breakfast is still good, but before Corona-Times it was definitely better. I only managed a Dinner at Trader Vic's, which is quite nice for tourists, but not the original food I know from Asia myself. The four days at the Bayerischer Hof were the most comfortable time I had this year. And now I plan to be back there in December - same hotel.

Schade, dass das Hotel derart schlecht beschildert ist. Als Ortsunkundiger muss man schon ganz konzentriert unterwegs sein, damit man den Hoteleingang findet, denn eigentlich sieht es immer noch wie die Bank aus, die das Hotel einmal war. Innen überzeugt eine luxuriöse Innenarchitektur, die seinesgleichen sucht; die Räumlichkeiten sind hochwertig und modern, ohne opulent oder kalt zu wirken. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber leider hatten wir wahrscheinlich das Wochenende der Negativauslese erwischt: In der Bar wird man gesetzt; das Personal merkt aber nicht, dass man die Leute etwas verteilen könnte, anstatt alle Tische nebeneinander zu besetzen. So kommt keine Privatsphäre zustande. Die Barspeisen sind sehr vielfältig und von höchster Güte; wer aber satt werden möchte, geht besser ins Restaurant; die Portionen sind mickrig. Der Frühstücksservice war zu Beginn sehr aufmerksam, das Konzept des Buffetts ist allerdings zu überdenken: entweder ist alles bedient und entsprechend der Service am Tisch, oder es hat eben ein Buffett, das in seiner ganzen Vielfalt zur Verfügung steht. Die Mischform, zu der man mangels Alternative greifen muss, macht es nicht einfach. Eine ganz tolle Brotauswahl wird durch das minimalistische Kaltspeisen Buffett zunichte gemacht: 3 Scheiben Kochs*****en und 6 daumengrosse Salametti resp einen Anschnitt Blauschimmelkäse, einen ebenso kleinen Weissschimmelkäse und eine völlig vertrocknete Scheibe Halbhartkäse war die komplette Auswahl. Daraufhin haben wir uns entschieden, das Käsesortiment à la carte zu bestellen. Auf diese Bestellung haben wir dann gut 20 Minuten gewartet. Das check-out war ebenfalls äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend; auf unseren Wagen (”Ein Mitarbeiter ist bereits unterwegs, um Ihren Wagen zu holen”) haben wir dann allerdings auch warten müssen, so dass sich unsere Reise kumuliert um eine halbe Stunde verzögert hat. Schade, in so einem prunkvollen Haus hätten wir einfach mehr erwartet. Im Wissen, dass die Eröffnung erst Ende Oktober war, sind wir überzeugt, dass, wenn sich alle Prozesse eingeschliffen haben werden, 5* in der Bewertung locker erreicht werden können. PS: als Gast empfiehlt es sich, ein Zimmer nicht strassenseitig zu buchen; die Fenster sind miserabel schallisoliert.

I can't say enough great things! We booked a Signature Suite-Park View. A few weeks before arrival we received an email from a manager asking if we needed anything. Because we are regular travelers, we already arranged airport transfer with the concierge, sessions at the spa and made reservations at the hotel restaurant through OpenTable. The manager was able to quickly confirm all reservations and ask if we needed anything else. We requested extra bottles of water in our room and upon arrival there was plenty enough for our entire stay of 9 nights as well as some Oktoberfest souvenir mugs and a charcuterie board, very nice! The room was very clean and quiet. Although it was labeled park view, the trees were so full we couldn't really see the park and that was fine. We opened the windows and could hesr the kids play. Closing the windows cut off all outdoor sounds. Above the trees were beautiful buildings in the distance, you really felt like you were above the city, but not in a high rise. The spa was top notch and our favorite part were the heated lounge chairs by the indoor pool. Services were standard, I suggest booking something for right after your arrival to relax. We sat by the pool on the heated chairs for hours. The restaurant was great, we enjoyed the relaxed setting outside on the patio a couple of times and appreciated a return to eating a meal that isn't rushed. Europe understands that a meal should not be hurried. That being said, if we needed quick service, in room dining was fast! We love that there was something to order 24/7 because one night we returned from Oktoberfest and knew we should eat more to manage all the beer we drank lol. The coffee was mild, the hollandaise was perfect and the croissants were tender. The front desk staff were always pleasant, one night we returned from Oktoberfest and needed ice for a bruised knee, we asked at the desk instead of calling room service and within minutes of getting to our room, the ice arrived. Overall we are VERY happy with this stay. We were not familiar with the hotel brand and made the decision mostly based on location and cost. The pricing was commensurate with two other hotels we were familiar with, but we wanted to try something new and are glad we did. My high school friend and her husband also joined us and stayed there, they had no complaints and thanked us for finding the hotel. We also enjoyed some English language TV starting at Channel 60 and also were able to watch Netflix by mirroring the TV with our cell phone. The hotel is within a 5min walk to a pharmacy, drugstore (DM) and a great place for breakfast called, ”California Bean”. Worth a try, we went two days in a row. There was a small wait, but worth it. We also had the hotel mail things home for us and deliver a gift to local friends, everything went off without a hitch! We well return and look forward to the same excellent service. This fairly small private hotel is a joy. The rooms are extremely well appointed and hold one great advantage over similar hotels in the vicinity of Munchen Hbf. ...... they feature kitchenette facilities (microwave, fridge and two electric rings). For supplies there is a Rewe supermarket a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff are fabulous; from reception to room service. Although Schilerstrasse may not be to everyone's taste the hotel is virtually at the Hbf. end of the street so a visitor, if he/she so wishes, can avoid the 'Hostess' bars which are further down the street. Within a 10 minute walk you are right in the main shopping centre of the city. All the main brewery run restaurants are also within a 30 minute meander ...... Weisses Brauhaus, Andechser am Dom, zum Augustiner and zum Franziskaner.

The location is perfect! The service for cleaning the room is below 5 star Marriott-chained hotel standard. The housekeeper forgot to replace towels and just organized the bed a bit, replaced water and left the window opened. After checkout, the receptionist provided bottles of water which is a very nice move.

Location is good, breakfast is fabulous. However, that are three points that somehow affect my satisfaction towards the hotel. 1. The television automatically turns on during the midnight, which prevents me from having a good sleep. It turns on for 2-3 times at around 1am 2am and 4am which i found disturbing and kind of scary 2. The room cleaning guy threw my own face towel away….thought my face towel is white and quite similar to the hotel one…. 3. The hotel has hold up 296 euros from my card, didnt know if this is the deposit or not, but i have prepaid my hotel money and the deposit seems more than the ones i have stayed before Overall the hotel is gorgeous

アクセスはとてもいいです。ホテルのすぐ隣にビーガン、ベジタリアンの美味しいハンバーガーがらあります。祝日でも営業していたので助かりました。朝ごはんはハムの種類が多く見てるだけでも楽しかったです。朝食会場はBGMが無くて、作業音、食器の音、金の音、鳥の声。とても穏やかな雰囲気で朝食を食べることができました。今回は1人で滞在したのですが、1人で宿泊にはぴったりのホテルでした。内装も可愛いです。また利用したいです。

The hotel is well located with access to the central station and to the main pedestrianised areas of Munich. The hotel is located in the Bahnhofsviertel which has a significant Turkish and Arabic population. It's not the cleanest place in Munich but we had no issues during our 3 night stay. Notably, there is no parking on-site and some car parks are nicer than others. We parked our rental in the Sonnenhof Garage on Landwehrstraße which is about a few minutes walk from the hotel. It also seemed a bit nicer than some of the other car parks in the vicinity and they're all very similarly priced. The room was well appointed with a generously sized bathroom. Everything was very clean and fully functional. The only oddity is the strangely rough flooring that looks like carpet but is more like a lino trying to be carpet. The hotel bar was also decently stocked and the barman was a very nice chap. You do quickly get reminded that this is more of a business hotel when all of the other patrons are working on their PowerPoints. Overall, a good place to stay and see Munich for a few nights. Also quite reasonably priced compared to some of the other hotels in the area.

This is a budget hotel. Nothing more to be said than that. It is centrally located right near the train station, with access to and from the airport and other points, as well as all walking attractions in the city. It’s basic and clean. And the price reflects that. We didn’t have the breakfast as we had a very early morning to the airport. There are lots of restaurants and establishments in the area. Considering the location, we were quite surprised that it was not as noisy as we had expected. Check-in was not a problem. Not overly friendly, but not rude either.

Welcome free mini bar and coffee, much needed after days travel Surprised how Quiet it was given how central the hotel is Maybe some information on how to use the ac and blinds would be useful, we struggled with both but it turned out the switch for the blind was broken. This was fixed very quickly after reporting Beautifully decorated, loved all the paintings.

Personal muy amable y accesible (Nos permitieron dejar las maletas tanto el rato de antes como el día de después). Hablaban inglés perfectamente. Como cosa mala (aunque no era su culpa): había obras justo al lado y por la mañana, había un pelín de ruido (no mucho, dormimos bien sin problema). Ah y las vistas son feas, pero buen, por el precio, muy bien.

The hotel is in a great location, near the Munich hauptbahnhof so it’s easy to get to and from the airport with the S Bahn and to get around the city using the Metro. There are also lots of restaurants and the Old City Center within walking distance.

We stayed at this hotel while attending Oktoberfest. It was a perfect location centrally located to the train, S bahn, and U bahn stations for easy access to anything around. We were able to walk to Oktoberfest easily but decided to take public transportation everywhere else even if it was just one stop since it was so easy. The staff were super nice and accommodating. When our air conditioner didn’t work, they immediately came to attempt to fix it and moved our rooms when they couldn’t with addition of free breakfast for the inconvenience. Room was small but just what we needed for our stay with an amazing shower. This is our second time staying at this hotel chain and first at this location and will look for this chain in the future for travels.
