The hotel staffs are so kindly. Location is not bad and it takes under 10mins to go there from München Hauptbahnhof.

I enjoyed my stay at this family-owned hotel in Munich. I chose it because of its close proximity to the bahnhof and its character, superior to that of the large box hotels nearby.

Don't stay here! Having been let down by another hotel, we had little choice, but the staff took advantage of our situation and charged 258 euros (without breakfast), well over double the normal rate.The reception and lobby are gloomy, the corridors scruffy and the room was small and had been given a cheap makeover. There is virtually no sound insulation, so we had to use earplugs to cut out the noise from other guests.There are a lot of other hotels in the area, and this place is absolute rubbish!

I really loved my stay. The man in charge of the hotel is super kind and very caring. Also seems to work very hard to make sure every guest is taken care of. I certainly did feel taken Care of by him and the rest of the kind employees here. If you’re out late, you’ll have to use your side entrance key which is easy but just thought I’d mention that the main lobby closes after midnight. They’re still available for you through a phone number for the caretaker 24/7.

The staff was so kind and thoughtful. The room was clean and warm. It’s good place to central station and shops, Christmas markets.

Thank you so much for such a warm welcome and comfortable stay! The location, less than a block from the train station, a few blocks from both the bus station and Marienplatz, and with Luftansa airport shuttle just a few steps out the front door cannot be beat. Nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood, our spacious room with comfortable beds, and large bathroom and shower helped make our visit to Munich even more enjoyable. I stayed here years ago, and will certainly come back again to this family-run hotel, with its newly renovated rooms and lovely German breakfast, the next time we're in Munich.

Great Hotel!!! Been staying there since 2006 and the hotel cleanliness, location and staff have always been excellent. It is an enjoyable experience because you are treated like family. I highly recommend the Alfa if you’re planning a stay in Bavaria. Location to the train station is big plus too!

Loved this cozy little hotel. The guy at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. He made us feel very welcome. The room and bathroom, although very small, were very clean. The hotel was very quiet even though it was Oktoberfest. We never heard anyone else in the hotel. Breakfast was served in a charming dining room and had everything you could want. Best of all a hot pot in the room to make your first cup of coffee! Convenient location to Oktoberfest and old town.

The hosts were friendly, easy to reach, and very accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable. The location was excellent for us - about a 20 minute walk to Oktoberfest, a 20 minute walk to the Marienplatz, and a five minute walk to the main train station. It was quiet at night. A special bonus was the breakfast buffet - really awesome!
