Shoutout to Sandra and team for making this stay the most memorable stay in our two weeks trip to Europe! Sandra is the most amicable and friendly staff I met. We had 1-2 questions but she went all out to help us with it. She even gave us a little surprise as well. The hotel is just a stone throw away from The Central station. On the way back, you can buy food from Pommes Freunde which is not bad. Overall a lovely stay, will definitely recommend to family and friends looking for a stay in Munich.

Really enjoyed my stay at Louis Hotel. Location cannot be beat by any other hotel in the whole of Munich. Room was really really really beautiful furnishings. The bed and bedding was really luxurious. Minibar was inclusive which is nice and makes one enjoy the room even more. Front desk could be more friendly though, perhaps more training on being more genuine as at times the smiles were really forced, but that could be a Munich thing, dunno.

I can't say enough great things! We booked a Signature Suite-Park View. A few weeks before arrival we received an email from a manager asking if we needed anything. Because we are regular travelers, we already arranged airport transfer with the concierge, sessions at the spa and made reservations at the hotel restaurant through OpenTable. The manager was able to quickly confirm all reservations and ask if we needed anything else. We requested extra bottles of water in our room and upon arrival there was plenty enough for our entire stay of 9 nights as well as some Oktoberfest souvenir mugs and a charcuterie board, very nice! The room was very clean and quiet. Although it was labeled park view, the trees were so full we couldn't really see the park and that was fine. We opened the windows and could hesr the kids play. Closing the windows cut off all outdoor sounds. Above the trees were beautiful buildings in the distance, you really felt like you were above the city, but not in a high rise. The spa was top notch and our favorite part were the heated lounge chairs by the indoor pool. Services were standard, I suggest booking something for right after your arrival to relax. We sat by the pool on the heated chairs for hours. The restaurant was great, we enjoyed the relaxed setting outside on the patio a couple of times and appreciated a return to eating a meal that isn't rushed. Europe understands that a meal should not be hurried. That being said, if we needed quick service, in room dining was fast! We love that there was something to order 24/7 because one night we returned from Oktoberfest and knew we should eat more to manage all the beer we drank lol. The coffee was mild, the hollandaise was perfect and the croissants were tender. The front desk staff were always pleasant, one night we returned from Oktoberfest and needed ice for a bruised knee, we asked at the desk instead of calling room service and within minutes of getting to our room, the ice arrived. Overall we are VERY happy with this stay. We were not familiar with the hotel brand and made the decision mostly based on location and cost. The pricing was commensurate with two other hotels we were familiar with, but we wanted to try something new and are glad we did. My high school friend and her husband also joined us and stayed there, they had no complaints and thanked us for finding the hotel. We also enjoyed some English language TV starting at Channel 60 and also were able to watch Netflix by mirroring the TV with our cell phone. The hotel is within a 5min walk to a pharmacy, drugstore (DM) and a great place for breakfast called, ”California Bean”. Worth a try, we went two days in a row. There was a small wait, but worth it. We also had the hotel mail things home for us and deliver a gift to local friends, everything went off without a hitch! We well return and look forward to the same excellent service. If you are wondering if this is a good choice, I read reviews often and take them

The hotel is well located with access to the central station and to the main pedestrianised areas of Munich. The hotel is located in the Bahnhofsviertel which has a significant Turkish and Arabic population. It's not the cleanest place in Munich but we had no issues during our 3 night stay. Notably, there is no parking on-site and some car parks are nicer than others. We parked our rental in the Sonnenhof Garage on Landwehrstraße which is about a few minutes walk from the hotel. It also seemed a bit nicer than some of the other car parks in the vicinity and they're all very similarly priced. The room was well appointed with a generously sized bathroom. Everything was very clean and fully functional. The only oddity is the strangely rough flooring that looks like carpet but is more like a lino trying to be carpet. The hotel bar was also decently stocked and the barman was a very nice chap. You do quickly get reminded that this is more of a business hotel when all of the other patrons are working on their PowerPoints. Overall, a good place to stay and see Munich for a few nights. Also quite reasonably priced compared to some of the other hotels in the area.

This fairly small private hotel is a joy. The rooms are extremely well appointed and hold one great advantage over similar hotels in the vicinity of Munchen Hbf. ...... they feature kitchenette facilities (microwave, fridge and two electric rings). For supplies there is a Rewe supermarket a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff are fabulous; from reception to room service. Although Schilerstrasse may not be to everyone's taste the hotel is virtually at the Hbf. end of the street so a visitor, if he/she so wishes, can avoid the 'Hostess' bars which are further down the street. Within a 10 minute walk you are right in the main shopping centre of the city. All the main brewery run restaurants are also within a 30 minute meander ...... Weisses Brauhaus, Andechser am Dom, zum Augustiner and zum Franziskaner.

Well, where shall I start. Basicly, it is a very good hotel. But often the details make up the exeperience. I enjoyed my stay. There are some issues I that could diminish the experience. Location: Central, close to the train station and bus station. Next shops are about 5 mins. by foot away, next good restaurant about 10 mins. In the early morning you can hear the traffic, the hotel is directly on a main road. So, if someone is sensitive to noise in the night, I cannot recommend a stay there. Cleanliness: Well.... that's an issue. I found some hair in the bathroom. An what I discovered was that apperently the cleaningstuff was to lazy to get off some dust an trash because the put it just unter the furniture that is unter the TV. Sorry, but something like this simply just should not happen! Room: I was happy with the room. It was big and my bed was soft and comfortable. I slept well. What I appreciated very much was that the holder for the bathroom towels was heated. That's pretty cool I encountered something like this the first time in a hotel. TV was OK so was the air condition. Style is typical for never hotels/business hotels. The furniture seemed a bit shabby. Service: the staff was (mostly) fantastic. I got everything I needed and I got it fast. They help you to get every information about the hotel that you need and they were very friendly. What was a bit strange is the fact that all the coworkers there were from spain. I think, one of them spoke german but everybody else english or spanish. So, they could not provide me with some information that I needed about Munich. That's the first time something like this has happened to me in a hotel. Bar: The bar is pretty cool and the drinks are good. A bit expensive but that was OK for such a hotel. Gym and spa: There is a gym and a spa but I had no time to try it. All in all I had a good experience and I would recommend the hotel.

Finding a place to smoke a nice cigar in Munich is difficult. This is a nice room, but tends to get quite crowded towards the evening, with lots of cigarette smokers stepping in for a short smoke as well. They usually don't serve drinks inside the cigar lounge, but will bring them to the cashier outside and you then need to carry them inside youself (presumably to protect the server from being exposed to the smoke). The lounge though is quite nice and if when you finally get your drink is a very enjoyable place to tend to your cigar.

So I see some old and untrue reviews on here. So I’m going to update that because we have just had a lovely week at Mons Hotel. The room was absolutely spotless on arrival, brand new refurb by the looks of it- really on trend design, we loved it. The room was serviced daily (although we were not informed of this it was a nice touch). I’m not sure on their routine because each day they did something different, one day bed, the next day rubbish only, next day towel change. Didn’t bother me but found it odd that they would make the bed and leave the rubbish or take the rubbish and leave the bed haha. Anyway more observation than Issue and like I say we weren’t expected any bed making so no issues here. Didn’t find it noisy particularly, it’s a city so will never be silent. It was perfect for us, brilliant location, right opposite UBahn to Marienplatz which takes 3 mins. Or you could walk there I. 25mins. Coffee shops and supermarket on doorstep. I enjoyed the no fuss check in, got clean instructions on how to access our room. All in all for a week long city break this was great. Thank you :) would defo come again. Oh and there is a fridge and coffee machine and glasses provided. Great tv too, we logged into our Netflix no issues. Also had a small balcony which we weren’t expecting so that was good!

First time to Germany and Octoberfest and can say this hotel is in a great location. A lot of great experiences including Octoberfest and restaurants within 10-15 minutes walk. Pros: Location Lobby/bar/restaurant (kind of all one thing but it works) Staff - most spoke English well enough to understand you. They were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast- My wife was not impressed but I thought it was better than typical ”continental” breakfast you get in a US hotel. Not obvious but they have a carafe of drip coffee near the expresso machine. Quiet - we had a courtyard room and it was very quiet. The bar/restaurant extends into the courtyard which I thought would be a problem but they have everyone come inside I think around 10 ish so we did not hear the bar noise. Cons: We had room 20 on the ground floor. Very small by U.S. standards but we expected that. The big issue was the bathroom/shower. The shower is ”enclosed” by shower curtains that have about a 3” gap at the bottom. No sill to catch water either. After showering most of the floor would be wet requiring us to utilize more towels to dry it. At first we thought maybe it was a handicap room but the second issue with bathroom negated that thought. The bathroom door is super heavy duty for some reason. I mean like probably fire proof rated. It was heavy to open and close due to the self closing mechanism. Maybe that is code in Germany but seems unnecessary to me. We had to use one of the room stools to prop it open to help air it out after showers. We stayed with several other couples and saw their rooms which had better bathroom set ups so maybe room 20 is just the one to avoid. Would stay here again just not that room.

Faultless stay. Decent price, room was clean and modern (although someone had left a box of food outside on the windowsill that the cleaner had missed!). Location was brilliant, two minute walk from the U-Bahn. Not too many food/drink options nearby but you're only 5 minutes from the city centre so that's not an issue. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We didn't eat/drink there but the dining area looks stunning.

Hotel Kraft is an easy walk from Munich’s main train station. The immediate area around the hotel was in disarray because of the massive reconstruction of the main station. Yet, the hotel was an oasis of calm and quiet. The staff was warm, inviting and more than willing to offer help and sightseeing suggestions. Our room was exceptionally quiet as we were on the backside of the hotel above the terrace. It was clean, nicely furnished, and featured a recently remodel bathroom with a luxurious shower. Each morning a very pleasant breakfast buffet greeted us. It featured cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, breads, cereals, and a selection of hot items. The hotel couldn’t be better located for proximity to the station and the old town and its sights. I would have no hesitation of recommending Hotel Kraft to friends.

On our round trip through Germany we booked in advance two rooms in this hotel. Considering the fact it was the most expensive one on our trip I like to summarize the following: + The bed was really good. We slept very well - It was very loud from the road (party on the other side of the street, fire fighters main station on the road) not their fault - The rooms do not look like how it is presented on the provided pictures. In one room very old bath room. In the room itself a good wooden floor. + In our room the bath was new. The floor in the sleeping room with an old carped covered. - The room service was bad: we had to ask for toilet paper. The shower gel was empty and not refilled. The staff was able to understand English, German or French. No reaction on a good morning etc. - The initial breakfast we took in the hotel. For the second and the third we left the hotel (even we already paid for it). I do not expect a huge and overfilled buffet, because I do not like food-waste. But for 15 euro I expect the availability of fresh bread, a good coffee and some soft-cheese and fruits. The bread was hard, one little soft cheese. I refilled the empty water carafe. The coffee machine in use was for home use. After I finished my breakfast we got a Cappuccino from the really friendly staff. She was forced to deal with bad technology. Sorry, that's the fact. For breakfast chose Trachtenvogl or Madam Anna Ekke (both pretty close) and you pay less for much more quality!

J'ai hésité entre 4 et 5 étoiles car il n'y a pas de connexion WiFi dans toutes les chambres, en tout cas, dans la nôtre, il n'y en a pas eu pendant les 3 jours où nous y étions. Je ne pense pas que ce soit un problème temporaire, mais tout simplement que dans certaines parties de l'hôtel on ne capte pas. J'allais à l'accueil (dans le hall d'entrée) pour en bénéficier. Néanmoins j'ai donné le maximum d'étoiles car les réceptionnistes étaient très aimables, il y avait des friandises dans le hall d'entrée, les dames d'entretien étaient bienveillantes et ont bien fait leur travail, ma fille a apprécié la baignoire (la plupart des hôtels ont des douches). En plus, il y a de bons restaurants à proximité, à l'écart des attrape-touristes du centre-ville.
