I had multiple issues that staff looked to take seriously but never did. We bought the one night couples package, we selected the king room with 3 course meal and spa treatment. The spa was excellent. Everything else was poor quality. The A/C doesn't work, the electrics choose which sockets are working based on which lights are on, the lights are really dim, the iron is attached to the wall by cable, the room was dirty with trash under the bed and chairs and dead insects in the bathroom. The shower doesn't drain properly I was ankle deep in water and the shower was controlled from a different part of the bathroom meaning I had to leave the shower multiple times to have it set correctly. 1-2 hours after we checked in we noticed the 'king' bed was 2 twin beds pushed together, not good enough. After 5 trips to reception (every time we passed) we were finally told there are no king beds that all king beds are twin beds pushed together. It didn't even have a mattress topper, just a huge dip in the bed under the sheet. Lastly, the food was disappointing, the website shows that the restaurant is open during the week except for certain holidays then when we arrived downstairs dressed for dinner we were pointed towards a low quality pub where all we could eat was chicken wings and a burger for dinner, where the steak was ”15 euro extra for hotel packages” despite only being 7 euro more than other items included in the hotel packages. Hardly the 3-course meal promised. Ripoff. Also, the bar staff was poorly trained. There were flies hovering over our heads and our food! The breakfast in the morning was a cross-contamination nightmare. Entirely self served, same label used for beans and potatoes meant I could eat what I wanted. The juice ran out and wasn't replaced. We requested coffee and got tea it was all just a shambles. I'm writing this one week on, we stayed here for a special occasion, kept up the good spirits, loved the spa and one by one the issues piled up and ruined my birthday present. Waste of money, I've had entire holidays abroad for what this one night cost. I've had weekends in b&bs in ireland for the same price that had better service. It's obvious the place has seen better days and cost cuts are being made. I would only recommend going to the spa, but DO NOT book any of the getaway deals.

Stayed here for one night last weekend while attending a funeral in Dublin,lovely hotel with great staff from front desk too the cleaning staff all helpful and very polite,really are a credit to the hotel and I can't compliment the staff enough had food in bar was very nice as was breakfast next morning plenty of choice,room was very spacious and very comfortable,would recommend the hotel no problem at all and is perfectly located will definitely be back again thanks too all at lawlors

We got married in Killashee in September 2024, I cannot compliment the staff here enough. We had the most special day made possible by the extremely attentive staff from the front reception down to the banquetting team everyone was fantastic. The attention to every detail we wanted for our big day was excellent. Also a special mention The grounds keepers who maintain the beautiful grounds and gardens which made a beautiful setting for our photos. The bridal suite was lovely and had all the amenities needed. And lastly the food was beautiful! All our guests complimented the food and service. Thank you to every member of staff for making our experience at Killashee so wonderful!
