Питьевая вода разливается в стеклянные бутылки, пополняемые по запросу, в магазине можно купить переходники для электро розеток от евро к британскому стандарту. Организация питания в формате пансиона завтрак, обед, ужин - выбор относительно не велик, но голодным точно не останешься. Из напитков включены, только чай и кофе. Несмотря, что запрос был на размещение 4 человек, дополнительную кровать установили уже только в момент заселения (мы уехали на весь день на сафари, а по возвращению вечером все уже было готово). Сафари заказывал и оплачивал в виде пред оплаты через отель по банковской ссылки для оплаты, также на семью покупал ланч боксы - набор состоял примерно из сока, яблока, вареного яйца, сэндвича, крекера), в целом наверное можно было и не заказывать, более плотно поев перед выездом, но с учетом 6 часового путешествия, пикник стал элементом дополнительной атмосферы - со своими нюансами замусоренного места пикника, но это уже территория национального парка, которая к отелю не относится). Стоимость входа в национальный парк оплачивалась отдельно уже при въезде в парк, на мою семью из двух взрослых и двух детей 8 и 14 лет в сумме я заплатил 37 714 шиллингов. К слову отель находится буквально в нескольких минутах от въезда в национальный парк, что безусловно удобно. У меня не было с собой международной банковской картой и сотрудник отеля любезно помог оплатить вход в национальный парк m-pesa системой мобильных платежей, со своей стороны я вернул сотруднику платеж наличными долларами и шиллингами (обмен шиллингов сделали по адекватному для сафари курсу 125 шиллингов к доллару, при установленном официальном на момент поездки и 129, например по дороге на сафари встречали курс и 120). Гид был приветливым и вовлеченным, нам понравился. На ужинах, несмотря на достаточно хорошее освещение тропинок, сотрудники отеля провожают до палаток - с одной стороны - это место среда обитания диких животных и можно расценивать как одна из мер безопасности, с другой - помощи и дополнительный уровень сервиса - территория отеля не маленькая, не отказывайтесь ). Дружелюбная встреча в момент заселения, помощь в оплате въезда в национальный парк, можно добавить такого же внимательного и дружелюбного общения сотрудникам ресторана). Останавливались на одну ночь - бассейном не пользовались, с одной стороны не возникло желания, был пасмурный день, с другой особо и не было времени так на утро продолжили наше путешествие дальше, в новую локацию. В некоторых отзывах читал про пересчет стоимости в момент заселения - совет внимательно выбирайте формат проживания и количество проживающих при бронировании номера, я делал бронирование через trip.com, в целом навигация по вариантам размещения была понятной.

The environment of the hotel is very good, the greening and scenery are unexpectedly good. The room facilities are slightly old. Unfortunately, the waiter's attitude is not very good. The location of the hotel is particularly good, facing Mount Kilimanjaro. Looking out from the window is the Xuefeng that made us admire, and it feels like ”Xiling snow in the window”. Opening the door and going out, the view is very wide. Elephants, zebras, wildebeests and antelopes are scattered on the vast grassland with Kilimanjaro as the background. There is a lake as far as I can see, flocks of flamingos and other waterfowls. Wake up at 5 or 6 o'clock in the morning to see elephants, wildebeests, and buffaloes lined up slowly from the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro along their respective routes. If you wear a telephoto lens, you may also be lucky enough to see the thrilling scene of a lion hunting. The price of the hotel includes three meals, but Ctrip's order stated that it does not include meals. If it weren't for the waiter's reminder, we would have lost a lot.

First off - the website portrayed an entirely different resort. One that looked like intimate outdoor dining (it was a food hall that could easily seat 300. It boasted morning and evening wild game drives. We had to arrange and pay for that separately. The cabins had such poor lighting that we had to use our headlamps inside the tents at night. Even getting there was a fiasco. For starters there was a big communication breakdown with our driver arranged through the hotel who was to pick us up at Amboseli air field. When he didn't show, I messaged the hotel because they never provided his number to me. The hotel said - he's there at the air field now. He wasn't. It was completely empty except for us and the 2 rangers babysitting us because they couldn't leave 2 tourists there on the savanna with the wildlife. After messaging back and forth for an hour - our driver finally showed up. The rangers were NOT happy. Once at the hotel - the service was okay - at our first lunch the dining hall (yes it is vast) was nearly empty so we sat down at a table on the edge that had 3 place settings. The waitress asked us to move to a table with 2 place settings. We did but to a table right next to where the line queued. The original table sat empty our entire meal. The hotel was ”all-inclusive” but the meals provided only coffee or hot water for tea - no water or chilled drinks without extra payment. Lastly with regard to service - we each had a backpack and a 20 KG duffle. Our room was as far as possible from reception. Three porters fell all over themselves to separately collect our bags from the driveway and walk with them 15 feet to reception expecting a tip. But when it was time to take bags to the room - a full ten minute walk from reception - they vanished and we hauled our own bags. Same for departure, no one was available to help with bags until we literally got with 10 feet of reception and 2 porters rush up to collect and carry our bags the last ten feet? No thank you!

Hotels in Amboseli are probably average, and each hotel has few rooms, so it is very difficult to book. The hotel is in a good location, close to Amboseli National Park. The lodge I booked feels better than a tent. The facilities are relatively old, and the sanitary environment is also average, but the service is still OK.
