Hotel Nadi dengan Gim

My wife and I spent 7 amazing nights here! The resort has everything, you don’t even have to leave! You can catch a 45 minute cab ride to port denaru for some adventure experiences of course, but so much to do here. Isikeli and Jim - as well everyone else at the water sports area were awesome! The 5 hr cruise with snorkel and wave runner safaris were definitely worth it. Joey over at the fish bar is great and pours some good drinks. Missi and Adam with activities also some great people to run into for a soccer game on the beach. Marcus was the friendliest person to run into everywhere at the resort throughout the day. Simon at the front lobby will help square you away with whatever you need. We had a lagoon view bure which was a home away from not wanting to go back home. Walk right into the lagoon from the beach or sit on your balcony while reading a book. All in all could not recommend this resort more. Safest part of the trip is was having to leave.

My AC kind of worked. my kitchenette had a couple of roaches. They charge $20 for wifi. When I got to my room, the pillows were missing pillowcases. I called the front desk, and a kid came to my door and handed me cases. The room was generally clean. The attached food court is awful. They close at 7:30. I showed up at 7:10. They had shut everything down. I talked them into cooking a sandwich. (awful) and they didn't even bother to heat up the French fries. It's not the worst place I've stayed, but I've been to better.

We had a great stay at the Fiji Gateway hotel! The rooms were clean and in great condition and the showers had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water - perfect for helping us relax as we continued our trip. As opposed to other hotel rooms in Fiji, the air conditioning worked great and the safe in the room was in good working condition - something that is always important for protecting your valuables and travel documents. This was a perfect place for us to stay when we had to fly out of Nadi airport for our flight to the island of Taveuni. On this night, we ate at the restaurant which had excellent, friendly staff and good food. But the thing we remember the most about this hotel were the 2 live musicians Igenasio and Joape who play in the bar and restaurant. During our meal, I kept pausing and saying to my wife, ”listen to this awesome music”! Just about every day for the rest of our trip I kept saying to my wife, ”did I say how awesome those musicians at the Fiji Gateway hotel were?” On our final night in Fiji, just before we went to Nadi airport, we went back to the Fiji Gateway hotel to see if Igenasio and Joape were playing in the restaurant and bar area. Guess what? They were! I was beyond excited to see them and told them that we came back to the hotel just to find them. They did not disappoint and played 2 songs that we requested as well as songs requested by others. They are a great duo and they complement each other with their lead singing and harmony. We'll always remember this final night in Fiji at the Gateway Hotel!

We had already had an idea that the rooms would be dated from the reviews. So expected as much and weren't fussed about our stay, given the price hence why we 4 stars as prob can do with an upgrade. We were on the ground floor and we didn't have any bugs in our room. Cleaning was pretty good. One of the cleaners who had returned to work there in the last few months was REALLY amazing at his job. The restaurant food was really good we had no complaints, so dined there quite a bit. Rosie's onsite were also really helpful when we booked activities. But the staff are what make this place such a great atmosphere to be at. The bar staff Eroni (Rhonda) and Vasiti were AMAZING. Super helpful to give you advice and what to look out for. We would recommend the place based on the staff

Location is perfect and the staff are amazing. Reception was super helpful and very friendly. We enjoyed our 4 day stay however, we were hit with a VAT tax of FJD$495 on top of our bill. That shocked us as we didn't realise this would be an additional charge. I'm trying to see where I can contact the Manager to query this, however I can't find any details on how to make contact.

I had the misfortune of staying at Nasau Resort and Villas recently and was quite underwhelmed and disappointed. I have been blessed to have stayed at a few hotels and resorts of varying sizes, ratings, etc around Fiji and all had their merits and drawbacks but generally had one thing in common, the ”Bula Spirit”. Nasau was the first where the ”Bula Spirit” was lacking starting with when I arrived and had to get the attention of the receptionist who was on her phone to get served. There was no ”Bula Vinaka, welcome to Nasau Resort and Villas” nor was there a brief on wifi and amenities or meal times and other info a guest might expect to receive when checking in. This poor service without that ”Bula Spirit” was not a once-off and seemed to be the same amongst all staff whether at reception, the bar, or the restaurant. The food was not nice at all, would not recommend ordering at all. I had the most pleasant exchange with the lady attendant at the shop, who had that familiar ”Bula Spirit” but the shop itself was quite bare and overpriced. The rooms were large but felt grungy. When I walked in my room had just been poorly mopped. The conference facilities were basic and we had sound issues with mics throughout. The only pleasant thing about the hotel was that it was quiet and gave one a different view of the mountains surrounding Nadi. Would not recommend if you're looking for something conveniently located with a little bit of luxury and iconic Fijian warmth.

Reception comes with a warm welcome, then the real thing started. Finding a room with Aircond took 1 hour. In an area with no taxi, reception often mark up $10 for calling one for you. No food or store around, hotel food close at 6pm. There is thief trying to get in and knock on doors from 8pm to 1am. They are led by security to check if no one then open the door to search for valuables. Reception and a strong guy knock on the door at 1am and told me to pay again by cash because my previous payment card denied. I show them my credit debit record, and refused to be rip off. There is bed bugs and cockroach in the room as well as on the bed. Water from tab is yellow. Given 2 small soap, no shampoo, no others I would suggest to take something with free airport pick up. Never recommend this hotel as it’s a rip off.

Its business suites - includes kitchen and laundry in room. Always great to have these services. Beach isnt much, think walk along rather than swim. This is one of 3-4 hotels in a row beachfront. Guests primarily those passing thru to islands, backpackers and groups. The hotels’ beachfront bars were quiet during week in May but came alive for weekend. Restaurant on top floor had great views. Service very slow in restaurants of all these hotels. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Overall we had a really nice stay at this resort. We were in an ocean front bure for 3 nights - the bure itself is very spacious, well appointed and has beautiful views out over the ocean - sitting on the deck at sunset was incredible (see photos)! The resort gardens are beautiful, a real credit to the landscapers - walking back and forth to our bure was like strolling through a tropical paradise. The food was a little hit and miss: breakfast was fantastic and heaps of it (we didn't need lunch), but dinner was so-so. The Indian buffet dinner was the best (very flavoursome), but the food from their alfresco restaurant (Tavu) was overpriced and average quality. Overall all the food is pretty expensive too - as a couple we were able to manage it, but it could be a bit eye-watering for a family or larger group. The bottled water is a total rip-off - cocktails, beers and spirits were actually better value, only $15 FJD for a cocktail, and they were delicious (compared to the price in Australia for a cocktail, this is a bargain!). The service was outstanding, all the staff were really friendly, attentive and helpful. Booking activities and tours was really easy though their tour desk, and there were taxis readily available out the front if you needed to go somewhere. Don't come here if you're looking for a white sandy beach and clear ocean water (most resorts on the main island don't have this at any rate), but the pool is superb and there's lots of lovely areas with sunbeds under the coconut palms to relax, with sweeping ocean views to the islands beyond. Swimming in the ocean is possible, but there is a large rocky surfbreak along most of the resort to prevent ocean surges during storms. Would definitely recommend staying here for 2 or 3 nights, we thought it was a great ”gap filler stay” between being out on the smaller Western islands and flying out of Nadi to come home. Only 20-30 mins drive from Nadi airport/Port Denaru, and being on it's own little outcrop of land, it has a lovely isolated island feel (there is a little ferry that takes you to and from the resort as there is no road access, this runs 24/7 and requires no booking).
