I had a very bad experience at this hotel...the whole building (8 floors) allows smoking. People smokes at every single floor just inide the hotel. When I open my room door in the morning, I smell strong smokes in the asile. What astonished me is that there is a cigarette trash bin right next to the elevator on every single floor. People just smokes right next to the elevator (the detectors were all gone). It means that the hotel somehow allows people to smoke in the facility. I have never encountered this in the other five star hotels. Huge safety concern! The facility is average, although new and modern. No power adpaters are available. Delivery robots were broken. Room dining was very mid. Breakfast was very plain. The location is relatively convenient. Overall, a big no no.

My wife and I had a wonderful stays at The Tai ! Everything is good including their breakfast 👍🏻 Will definitely stay there again if I visit Nanjing later. Maybe one thing can be improve is the shower water heater, it was too hot and too cold intermittently. The rest is all great 👍🏻 worth every penny to enjoy their fantastic services and amenities 👍🏻

This hotel is located in the center of the city, near the 1912 district so there is a lot of restaurants, it is really convenient. In my opinion, it is also a more pleasant neighbourhood that Xinjiekou where are all the others hotels. It is a really recent hotel, so all the furnitures are new. It is really high-tech, the curtains opens automatically when you enter the room, there are some electronic buttons for a lot of things (maybe a bit too much high-tech sometimes ? you can’t leave a single light for reading in the evening when your partner is sleeping). The room is well furnished and spacious, it lacks maybe just a bit of space near the sink in the bathroom. The breakfast is really good and diverse and the staff is really nice and helpful, specially the doorman Sam. I really recommend you this hotel in Nanjing.

We are a couple traveling from Australia to China and we are glad that we stayed at The Tai. Everyone from the receptionist to the bellhop ( Mr Sha), cleaning lady, room service and staff at the breakfast area were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Especially for foreigners like us who were not familiar with the local app and the front desk helped to order the medicine and have it delivered to us. Keep up the good job and thanks for your service.

Location is just opp 1912 shopping district. Bed was really comfy. Felt just like home!
