Although the location is perfect - all the tourist attractions are right there around the corner - it kinda feels like a dodgy alleeway. It´s located deep in the old town so you have to wait for a taxi for a looong time, so you better order that in advance if you need to catch a flight on time. The floorplan is not like in your average hotel which is understandable as it´s an old building, but a bit more open floorplan in the rooms would be great. there´s a lot of corners and cabinets and not much space. Feels like being on a cruise ship - everything is there but is´s petite ;) The fittness centre consists of 3 instruments and 10 dumbells so don´t expect too much. But the hotel overall is OK, bed´s comfy, quite, people are friendly and the breakfast was nice. Couple of small things to improve: the phone in my room didn´t work, neither did the blowdryer. And perhaps a bit more information to be written down in English but that´s just a French thing I guess :) .

Cela doit faire 5 ou 6 ans que je descends une fois par mois pour quelques jours dans cet hotel. J'ai déjà alerté la Direction de l'établissement d'une dégradation du service liée à certains membres de l'équipe. Et malheureusement mon très récent séjour a une fois de plus démontré que le manque de professionalisme d'un ou deux salariés nuit à l'ensemble de l'établissement. Une réservation faite pour une arrivée tôt oubliée par l'hotel cela peut arriver mais quand on a une réunion important en visio c'est primordial. Une partie de l'équipe fait en sorte de régler le problème, mais un employé vous méprise ouvertement faisant tout pour retarder votre arrivée en chambre. Intolérable. Le reste de l'équipe va devoir s'excuser et le service sera parfait. Jusqu'au jour du départ où ce monsieur encore présent, prendra un malin plaisir à mépriser mon épouse et moi même du regard. C'est le dernier souvenir que nous garderons de notre séjour et surement le dernier que j'aurais dans cet hotel. Sans compter le manque total d'amabilité d'une femme de ménage qui n'hésitera à nous bousculer ouvertement et à deux reprises, en nous invectivant au passage dans une langue que nous ne comprenons pas. Trop c'est trop.

L'hôtel, La Pérouse, est bien situé sur la Cour des cinquante otages. C'est un petit hôtel de charme, très confortable, très propre, très sécuritaire qui offre un petit déjeuner de très grande qualité avec des produits locaux et biologiques. Chaque chambre offre un coffret de sécurité. L'hôtel est entouré de nombreux restaurants, est à distance de marche du Château des ducs de Bretagne, tout près de presque tous les sites touristiques et des transports en commun et à 10 minutes à pied du petit théâtre Krappo Roy. Le personnel est d'une très grande gentillesse, toujours prêt à nous aider et nous faire des recommandations. Vraiment, un endroit idéal pour faire un séjour à Nantes.

On nous annonce à l'arrivée à l'annexe de l’hôtel (siège Hôtel situé à 300m) que nos 3 chambres- double se situent au 4ème étage SANS ASCENSEUR. Dans ma chambre le chauffage marche à fond et le radiateur a perdu son robinet thermostatique. Je refuse la chambre estimant qu'il sera impossible de dormir avec une telle chaleur et une fenêtre donnant sur le Boulevard . Une de mes amies demande une chambre plus bas car elle a l'impossibilité physique de gravir les 4étages..elle acceptera une chambre simple au 2ème étage, au prix de la double, faute d'alternative. Je demande alors à prendre celle qu'elle laisse au 4ème, et je rends la carte-clé de la chambre ”avec chauffage”. En soirée l’hôtel m'appelle pour dire que la clé rendue n'est pas celle de la chambre défectueuse (!!??), mais celle de la 3ème chambre occupée par mon autre amie.Sa clé a donc été désactivée et elle doit aller en chercher une nouvelle à l’hôtel principal (l'accueil de l'annexe étant fermé à cette heure). A notre retour, nous découvrons que la chambre de cette amie a été relouée et que ses affaires ont été déplacées... vers la chambre défectueuse!!!!!! .Nous retournons à l’hôtel principal pour protester et refuser à nouveau cette chambre. Mon amie obtiendra finalement une chambre à l’hôtel principal . 6 aller- retours et l'équivalent de 5 fois les 4 étages pour obtenir 3 chambres correctes, réservées 6 semaines à l'avance....Pas cher mais on sait maintenant pourquoi.

Superior room was very nice, great to have some extra space and a view over the local streets. Breakfast was very good. Bed was extremely comfortable. Air con worked brilliantly and wasn't noisy. Location is convenient for many of the sights, and it's 5 mins walk to Commerce for Line 1, 2 and 3 trams. All public transport is free at weekends. Nantes is a lovely place to visit, plenty to do and see.

A FUIR ! Nous avions réservé cet hôtel qui se situe tout près du centre ce qui est pratique pour visiter la ville ! L'accueil est très sympathique. Ce qui relève la prestation... Nous sommes arrivés dans une chambre qui devait être ”grande”, nous avons vite déchanté ! Il nous a fallu passer par la réception, puis le parking et enfin rentrer dans ce qu'ils appellent le bâtiment ”annexe” pour monter dans notre chambre (3 codes différents à chaque fois, vous connaissez fort Boyard?). Ceci, à chaque fois que nous voulions la regagner. Lorsque nous avons voulu utiliser une serviette, je vous passe les détails : écoeurant, elle était tachée de rouge. Absolument inadmissible pour un hôtel. Même si, ce n'est pas un 3*, l'hygiène laisse vraiment à désirer. La serviette a été ramenée à l'accueil, qui nous a proposé de nous en déposer une autre dans la chambre. Devinez ? Elle n'était pas tachée de rouge mais de marron... Et pour couronner le tout, coupure de courant le 31 décembre au soir lorsque nous nous préparions. Dernières choses, qui sont des petits détails au vu de notre expérience dans cet hôtel : pas d'accès aux personnes en situation de handicap, chambre mal agencée et étroite, le bruit de la porte du bâtiment à chaque ouverture se fait entendre puisque (très) mal insonorisées. Décidément, l'hôtel logis Châteaubriant est à fuir !

Stayed here for a night before travelling onto Brest. Friendly helpful check-in. As was heatwave (up to 43°C) as my limited French allowed me understand the air-conditioning wasn't t working at this temperature so a free drink was offered and much appreciated at the bar. Room was clean and comfortable. I nearly slept out breakfast

Great modern hotel with modern rooms, the whole hotel is themed around Jules Verne which makes it quirky, colourful and fun. Staff were really friendly and happy to give out recommendations and advice, and provided a warm experience at check in and check out. The room itself was fitted with a kingsize bed that was firm but really comfortable, in part due to the hotel putting a duvet under the bottom sheet to provide a sandwich of softness. It was actually better than our bed at home, which is saying something! The hotel was also well located within the city, with restaurants only a few minutes walk, and for other attractions which were about 15-20 mins walk its easy to get on the tram (€1.70 for an hour travel pass, free on weekends) to get there in minutes. Overall Nantes is a great place to visit, we're already looking at coming back and this hotel gives a friendly personalised service for a great price - incroyable!

It was a good choice if you are going to Nantes for one or two nights. There is private parking which is a plus. The room is ok. There was no hair dryer nor soap but there is bath shampoo. Wifi is good. The staff was exceptional even though there is only one person.

가성비가 아주 좋았어요! 엄청 깔끔했고 난방도 잘 작동해서 춥지 않았어요. 다만 화장실 문이 고장나서 닫을 수가 없었어요. 친구들끼리 간 여행이라 큰 문제는 없었어요. 따뜻한 물도 잘 나왔고 취사 시설이 있어서 요리해먹을 수 있었어요! 호텔에서 제공해주는 티백도 잘 마셨어요 :) It was very clean, very warm, and you can cook there. It was a perfect hotel for the cheap price. But the bathroom door wasn’t able to close completely which was not a big problem. The tea provided by the hotel was really nice as well!
