I recently stayed at this hotel and while there were a few positives, there were also some areas that need improvement.
First, the Wi-Fi was the weakest I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. The connection was very choppy, and I eventually gave up trying to use it. With this being said I’m not sure how Iin 2024 going on to 2025 a hotel in Japan isn’t up to date with its wifi system🤦🏻♀️This is definitely something the hotel should address, as reliable Wi-Fi is a basic expectation for most travelers.
On a brighter note, the shower pressure was fantastic, and the rooms themselves were spacious and comfortable. I had no complaints there.
However, the buffet was quite expensive (35usd)given the limited selection(10 or so items). It wasn’t worth the price, and I noticed the hotel’s convenience store was much busier than the buffet itself probably because guests found it to be a better value. If they lowered the buffet price, I think it would attract more diners, which would help maintain the freshness of the food and boost overall sales. With a higher turnover, the hotel could still make a profit, while offering a more appealing dining experience.
Overall, the weak Wi-Fi and lack of a good restaurant experience would make me reconsider staying here again in the future. There are definitely other hotels with better value for the price, so I’d likely choose somewhere else next time.
