Sonder the Score

Be advised that while this is a nice property, the parking cost us $42 for one night, there is no staff basically so you're pretty much on your own if you have issues (you have to use a code every time you go in the building or your room) the entire place smelled like chemicals, even something simple like using the wi-fi required a call to their customer service line which in fairness was handled quickly and efficiently. The parking garage that cost $42 was so tight in space that the entrance/exit ramps were almost too small for more than one vehicle at a time. Not a good experience at all.

Location is perfect and check in is easy. Only downside is that our spot smells like smoke. We want to extend for another night if smoke free is available.

The property was easy to find, very clean and spacious!! Completely set up like having my very own apartment. This is my first time staying at a Sonder and i will look for them now wherever I travel.

Clean, comfy, and spacious. Amenities where all there. Kitchen has all the amenities to make meals. Short walk to Bridgestone arena. Fair price for stay. Gave 3 stars for Parking. Had to use lot across the road. $43 incl tax... Be good if the owners of Sonder could partner with them to offer discount parking rates. Most hotels in the area charge $25. Great place to stay but parking could be reviewed.

I was all for the Sonder when I arrived—it was my first time at one. I was really looking forward to the atmosphere and was impressed with the value. That being said, what really tainted my stay was the cleanliness of my units. I happened to stay in two separate units during my stay. I communicated that the first had towels that appeared to be dirty from makeup stains and other things I couldn't guess, which the apologized for. I can totally understand an overlooked stain on a towel or two but in my next unit, every single towel was stained in some way. That and my table had a sticky spot that smelled. It made me really doubt Sonder's cleanliness sadly because I was really about to say this was new my favorite place to stay.

Would stay there again. Just a couple things to mention. Not their fault but the weather was bad. With no one on site the sidewalk didn't get cleared of the snow. It was icy and dangerous. The bed was soft but slumped to the middle. I was fine, but it bothered my wife's back. There were no small wash clothes either. Just kind of odd. Their communication through the app was great. The price was right too.

I loved the property. Nice how close it was to downtown. Only issue was the parking situation was overpriced I would give clearer description of where to park and/or a discount for residence because $40 days is way to steep of a price.

Overall it is a really nice place. We had issues with the water pressure and temperature in the shower and issues with the washing machine. There were a few areas where there was hair from previous guest like on the bedding and in the shower.

We had problem entering the building. The code to enter was disabled and we waited outside the building for good 20-25 min and its -15C. But other than that, the unit was clean and the customer support was great addressing our concern. Hoepfully next time, there would be an assigned person on facility just in case this happened again.
