Erst kürzlich renoviertes Hotel. Eingangsbereich sehr schön gestaltet. Zimmer klein, alles nötige vorhanden und sauber. Badezimmer nur mit einer Schiebetür abgetrennt, Dusche mit Milchglas offen Richtung Zimmer, leider suboptimal. Dusche sauber, Tür sehr schmal. Zimmer war extrem warm (gute 27 Grad), auf Nachfragen wurde uns erklärt, dass die Heizung ebenfalls neu sei und schwierig einzustellen sei (Zimmer nebeneinander, gleiches Heizungssytem entweder sehr warm oder sehr kalt). Fenster konnte zum Lüften leider nicht ganz geöffnet werden. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück mit begrenzter Auswahl, aber gutes Essen. Butterautomat top.

We came here for 4 nights with an ebay voucher and unlike the other hotel we stayed at in Gstaad, were made to feel like 2nd class citizens. First they forgot to clean our room, then 2 mornings we had to wait for the table to be laid for breakfast and finally, there was a function on in the usual restauarant and we had to ask where we were to eat and in the other restaurant, we had to eat on bar stools. Food was very uneven, some things were excellent like the salads and pates, others were so so, for instance we had brown sauce with chicken, pork and beef. The same brown sauce. Wine was also pricey, having paid 25 or 30 francs for a bottle of swiss wine in other places we were suprised at 40 for a half bottle of assemblage, which wasn't even labelled which grapes had been used. All in all, sad as we shall certainly return to the area as our daughter works here (and had eaten with us every evening) but shall look for a friendlier place to stay.

We were a big group of friends staying at Hamilton Lodge, which offered us the most perfect stay at beautiful Belalp. The location is the best, close to the chair lift, school and equipment rental shop. The rooms offer a cousy stay with a great view from the balcony. The restaurant service was impecable, delicious food and great service, which always adapeted to changes in schedule for such a big group like ours ( around 20p). The cosy living room with a fireplace and a piano alowded us to enjoy a great evening, while playing and singing together. The Spa offered more than expected, between sauna and several outdoor pools. The hostes are incredible people and will always try to make your stay the best possibile ever! We will come back as a group next year and certainly some of us with family or even for a romantic getaway! PS: All necessary measure against Covid were taken into account at our arrival and stay.
