Hotel Dengan WiFi di Hainaut, Belgium

雖然在距離機場比較遠的地方，但是有一個捷徑de路可以走，就是有一個在機場的門，每當有汽車通過的時候，可以跟過去，而且總體乾淨衛生，價格非常低廉

Als je meerdere Novotels bezocht hebt, ben je gewend geraakt aan bepaalde standaards, van zowel kamer, personeel als bar/restaurant. In Charleroi worden helaas alleen die van de kamer waargemaakt: de mijne was supergroot, netjes, modern en handig ingericht. De regendouche was de beste ooit en het (aparte) bad liep sneller vol dan ik ooit meegemaakt had (en dat op de hoogste verdieping!). De keuze bij het ontbijtbuffet was tamelijk beperkt: met name aan groente en fruit ontbrak er het één en ander. De koffieautomaten bevonden zich buiten de ontbijtzaal (best onhandig) en één van de twee was alle vier dagen van mijn verblijf defect (erg onhandig). De kwaliteit van de koffie kwam overeen met de kwaliteit van de andere ontbijtproducten: matig tot gemiddeld. Dit is het ontbijt dat je verwacht bij Ibis Budget en dat dan ook overeenkomstig geprijsd is. Het personeel, dat hier in de reviews enorm geprezen wordt, moet haast wel collectief op vakantie geweest zijn. De receptionisten die ik trof, waren ongeïnteresseerd, dreunden lusteloos hun standaardriedels op en blonken alleen uit in het actief niet-groeten van de gasten als die voorbij kwamen. In Berlijn zouden deze mensen buschauffeur zijn. Zelfs oogcontact maken was al te veel moeite. De stad Charleroi zelf was daarentegen veel mooier (of minder lelijk) dan verwacht: met name het centrum en stationsgebied zijn erg mooi opgeknapt in een uitnodigende stijl. De meeste inwoners zijn op hun beurt nog niet echt mee geëvolueerd. Ik ben nog in geen enkele Belgische stad zoveel onderontwikkelde (en iedere betekenis van het woord) mensen tegengekomen als hier. Mocht je om het even welke een stad in Henegouwen willen bezoeken, dan is Mons (Bergen) een verstandiger en veiliger keus. Daar kun je na ”sluitingstijd” nog ongestoord over straat lopen, zonder op elke straathoek aangesproken (door bedelaars) of nageroepen (door hangjongeren) te worden. In Charleroi ben je best om 19.00 uur binnen, met de deur op slot. ;-)

Très pratique grâce aux navettes (10€) organisées par l'hôtel. Les chambres sont propres et bien tenues. Le personnel de l'accueil est disponible et très professionnel. Seul bémol est qu'il ny A pas de restaurants à proximité mais on peut se faire livrer des repas (penser à demander des couverts ou à découper les pizzas...). Les chauffeurs de taxis / navettes sont en général serviables et sympas. Ils sont disponibles sur demande à partir de 4h du matin, c'est pratique.

The staff was professional, welcoming and helpful. However the room was not 25sqm as per description and the floor was not in wood/laminate. The carpet looked clean but did not have the best of smells. There was a strange stain around the WC although the bathroom it was clean and smelt fresh. Location n parking were good. Breakfast was lovely, fresh and with ample choice and staff polite, helpful and professional. We would say the room itself was probably e 1 or 2 (at a push) stars. We have been in a lot of IBIS and always satisfied, we would not return to this one because of the room standard. Maybe we should have asked to change room but at midnight did not want to make a fuss.

We made a trip from the Baltic Sea and were on the way down to Spain. The hotel was a request on very short notice and we already knew van der Valk so booked it. The quality and service in this Van der Valk outstanding and we can only recommend it!

Siamo stati in questa struttura attirati dal fatto che viene dichiarato si trovi a 300 metri dall'aeroporto di Charleroi..purtroppo i 300 metri si sono rivelati qualche km ..circa 3 e mezzo...quindi e necessario utilizzare servizio navetta taxi o eventualmente avere un mezzo proprio per il quale almeno c'è un parcheggio gratuito. Detto questo gentilissimo il personale, carina la struttura ma ovviamente come ”appoggio”per la strada da e per l'aeroporto senza troppe aspettative.

Booked this hotel as our flight was cancelled and thought it would be best to spend the night in the city instead of the airport. It’s our own fault for booking this place I would t even give this hotel a 1 star it honestly is so bad. You can see it from the bus terminal and it looks really old and dirty from outside the reception looks old and dated but it doesn't look that dirty once you take the lift you notice how bad it really is. The carpets are all stained and then the rooms so our room was on the 4th floor I would go as far to say it’s the worse room I have ever stayed in. The air conditioning isn’t working. It’s so small the bed looks disgusting the sheets look clean. If we could afford to leave and get another room we would. Do not stay here you will honestly regret it. Stay somewhere else we panicked as our flight was cancelled and rushed to get a room for the night biggest mistake. Area around hotel is also very ropey looking lots off people just hanging outside

Er wordt geadverteerd met een zwembad. Bij aankomst hoorden we dat deze gesloten is en wordt omgebouwd tot sportruimte. Beide waren nu niet toegankelijk, wat toch wel erg jammer was. De badkamer was ook niet heel schoon en goed onderhouden. Comfort van het bed was wel prima. Ook het eten in het restaurant was erg goed.

Good location, nice experience, friendly staff! We will for sure recommend the location and surroundings to other people, hotel accommodation was great, the weather was not the best one but as it was a short stay for sure we will come back for a longer one in order to benefit from the full facilities!

The first thing to say is - I'm not usually a Youth Hostel person so I'll give the Auberge de Jeunesse lots of credit here. Met by friendly receptionist who was helpful in telling me all the important information including the shuttle bus back to Charleroi Airport. The room I got was a ”Basic Single Room” - which was just a 2 bed dorm with Single occupancy. It did exactly what it said on the tin - it had a bed, toilet, shower, sink, plugs and table/chairs - just what was needed for an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable despite having to do the pillowcase/bed sheets/duvet cover myself, but I guess that's a hostel thing! The one downside to my stay was the amount of noise from outside my room - which I believe was next to a shared area. Constant banging, whistling and cheering until about 12.30am led to not much sleep being had until then - luckily my flight home was in the afternoon, it would be awful if you had an early connection! Breakfast was offered and was a good continental offering, some hot food would have been nice but the breakfast I had was more than acceptable. For a grand total of €37 including breakfast, this place is extremely good value for money, but expect noise before you go to sleep! I would return if I was coming back to Charleroi.

Hôtel confortable et bien situé. Très propre. Le personnel est à votre disposition. Possibilité de garer la voiture sur le parking. A noter que les trois premiers jours le parking est gratuit. La navette est aussi gratuite pour aller à l'aéroport. Restaurant à proximité.

Nice hotel. As you are used to from Van der Valk Hotels. Unfortunately there was heavy construction work which had a negative impact on the stay. However, the employees tried very hard to make the guests as pleasant as possible. They did a great job!

Accueil vélo. Nos bicyclettes sont placées dans le garage surveillé et fermé. Prise de recharge disponible. La chambre pour 6 personnes est au dernier étage. Pas d’ascenseur. On fait son lit soi-même. Ne pas oublier linges de douche et produits de soin. Proche de la grand-place. Magasins et commerçants à proximité. Nous prendrons l’apéro face à l’hôtel de ville en travaux. Restaurant du soir “La vache à carreaux “. Après une nuit difficile, car il fait caniculaire et que les chambres ne disposent pas de climatisation, direction Petit-Dejeunet buffet. Rien de spécial. Le café machine est bon. Le reste est malheureusement “industriel”. Dommage. Cet endroit est très bien pour 1 ou 2 nuits si vous voulez découvrir Mons, ses monuments et ses musées. L’idéal pour des jeunes ou moins jeunes au budget serré.
