Hotel Neuchatel dengan Sarapan

Staff friendly and helpful. Wheelchair room with walled in views. For a person who cannot walk, shower with a ledge and challeges person in wheelchair to transfter to shower chair. Beds comfortable, towels soft. Breakfast is the expected standard for a 5 star hotel, nothing extra-ordinary. View of the lake is memorable and makes one feel noble to have this view while having breakfast (or any meal). Mr. Tugay, front staff of 20 years, serviced us whenever he saw a need and was very attentive to how to help. We truly appreciated his sincere willingness. The unobstruced view from the retaurant and some of the lakefront rooms are superb. Unfortuanately, the hotel does not have lakefront rooms for reduced mobility clients.

the most warm and friendly welcome at the reception makes the stay starting nice . rooms are nice but will need an update soon : carpet floors and some furnitures are marked by the time . restaurant is with nice lake view and good quality food and great service . during summertime its a bit noticable that there are rooftop parties wich ends up in a little noisy atmosphere in the rooms / suite . very nice is the walking distance to the center of town and the lakeview of course .

This hotel was nice however, when we got to our room we had a blood spot I had to take off (so gross). They also advertised a lake view which was not the case at all. We had a harbor view but not much of even that. There were very tall trees in front of the windows therefore we couldn’t see anything but trees. The beds were hard on our backs but the pillows were squishy and soft. I hope this helps someone who will want to stay here.

La situation de l'hôtel est idyllique : vue imprenable sur le lac et les Alpes (la meilleure de la ville ?), dans les hauteurs (pas trop de circulation), à côté de la gare (sans le bruit), avec un parking à CHF 10.- par jour, que dire de plus ? Nous avions une chambre au deuxième étage, spacieuse, avec un balcon et la vue qui va avec, plutôt bien insonorisée, mais aussi spartiate, il faut le dire... Le petit-déjeuner était tout à fait correct, le personnel aussi. Donc c'est un très bon endroit pour 1 nuit en transit. Après, je ne sais pas, testez :-)

A business trip in Sept in the area of Neuchatel, and this hotel was the one booked for us. So here are the findings and my thoughts about this hotel. Location - just outside the city of Neuchatel, about 6 km from the city center, right next to the highway. A very generous parking lot in front and to the side of the hotel provides the spot to park your vehicle. Not very big in size - but with a very good number of rooms , so even if you a travelling with a larger group it can be a good option. Check-in and check-out went very smooth and easy, front desk staff had a professional approach, and the communication in English language went easily. The room that I've got was big, by all standards , and with a generous size bathroom - both the room and the bathroom were very clean. Breakfast is another item I would like to highlight - it was fairly basic, but with very good choices available and consisting of quality products - from my perspective even if you stay a week at this place you will still be able to pot together a very good combo for breakfast and not get bored of what is being served. Prices - well once again the prices are ”Swiss” so even if this could be considered a budget hotel, the prices are aligned with the pricing in Switzerland. Overall a very good, just outside of Neuchatel, but if you are not looking for anything fancy this may be just the right option for you.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, man spricht auch etwas deutsch, sehr hilfreich. Ausreichend Parkplätze in der Umgebung (blaue Markierung). Alles wichtige in 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Zimmer und Bad angenehm groß und renoviert, Bad modern mit begehbarer Dusche. Sehr kleiner Fahrstuhl nur für 2 Personen und Gepäck. Zimmer zum Innenhof wählen, es ist ruhiger und so kann man das Fenster nachts geöffnet lassen. Das Frühstück für 15,- Franken ist sehr bescheiden, auch mit Wartezeiten am Kaffeeautomat. Evtl. weglassen.

A dated hotel in a somewhat seedy area of the city center. Room rate was reasonable for this costly country, but quickly added up as breakfast and an unpublished parking fee added CHF50 to the bill. Getting from the parking garage to hotel is long/steep walk, and be forewarned there is no unloading area in front. No WiLAN unless you have a Swiss mobile number. Will not stay here again.
