Hotel Dengan Bar di Vlorë, Albania

We stayed at one of the apartments on the complex - not in the hotel itself so we can’t comment on the rooms. However, we were able to use the pool (700lek per adult) and beach (500lek per adult) as were classed as resident on the complex. We only used the main pool as rooftop doesn’t allow children. The main pool is good in that it has lots of space and a nice view (agree with another reviewer - a bin is placed in the worst place with this view!!). However I would say the main pool could do with better cleaning. This was the biggest downfall. This was really apparent when someone near us cut their hand on one of the beds - the solution to clean this was water splashed and then it was left the whole afternoon/evening. This was unacceptable especially when staff were just sitting around, and we did hear another family complain about this as it was right near where the kids smaller pool was too. Gross! The beach was really clean, and the lifeguard there was really great in terms of keeping everyone safe as waves got big. It is a pebble beach and only a small area can you walk into the sea. The music is an odd one there - one day they played the same 4 songs all day.. and it wasn’t suitable for little ears in the slightest. Other days it would be a real mix. We didn’t mind the volume but I can see how others may find it too loud. Drinks are more expensive than others bars etc we had been in in Saranda/Albania - as was the food. We didn’t eat here in the end so can’t comment on the food taste though. Staff at the bar were lovely with our children, and served our drinks quickly each time. There is a supermarket right outside - small but has essentials. Quite expensive we found though compared to other supermarkets we went in. 15 min walk to the main boardwalk, but loads of restaurants around to try, which were great and had the most stunning sunset views (especially if you go right out of the complex)

We enjoyed our stay in Vila Arial! The location is a bit further away from the city center. We walked to the center and it took us 30 minutes. You also walk through some more shady parts, so when it was night we took the taxi back. The vila has plenty of parking places. The room itself was pretty big. The airco was not the best but did his job. The only thing that was a bit scary is lifting the heavy suitcases on the staircases that were outside of the vila to the second floor. The railing did not look very strong. When we arrived we were helped friendly and the staff at the breakfast was also friendly! The breakfast itself was very good! There were plenty of options to choose from. This was all served on the table just for you. This is also something I would change. Since I did not like all the options such as certain cheeses and fruit, there were quite some leftover from my breakfast. I would suggest to ask the guest what they want so you have less leftovers. The breakfast itself was very tasty though!

Location was not the same address in trip.com. Took me almost half hour to find the actual place. Actually found the right address in ******* and ***********. Shower was not working properly. Only the rain shower worked but the hand shower switch was stuck. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend that. Overall it was pleasant stay.

This is a fantastic hotel with excellent staff who try very hard. The location is great, lots of free parking available, the view is amazing, very good breakfast and the staff are incredibly friendly. Great air conditioning, clean comfortable rooms, good wifi, there was nothing we didn’t like. Special mention to Nora at the front desk who was superb and young Dion who will clearly be running the place soon. I will recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Sarande

It was meant to be served from 830 but wasn’t ready until nearer 9am. We ordered coffee, assuming it would be included in the price, like every other hotel we stayed in Albania, but the manager ( Lydia?) insisted that we had to pay for these. The selection was good but the attitude of the manager soured our experience. Fridge in room lacked listed items, and there was no tea or coffee supplied with the in-room the kettle- only sugar. What could be a great hotel needs to improve to secure repeat bookings.

Consigliatissimo per diversi motivi che vado ad esporre. Personale gentilissimo e attento ad esaudire ogni tua richiesta. Prezzo molto conveniente per camera pulitissima spaziosa e dotata di ogni confort(condizionatore,frigo,asciugacapelli,televisore,doccia e prodotti per l'igiene. Colazione più che abbondante,caffè cappuccino succhi di frutta ,croissant e anche roba salata , servita in un vassaoio personale e in una bella saletta accogliente. Possibilità di parcheggiare all'interno del giardino dell'hotel. Tavolini nel giardino per poter trattenersi e sorseggiare un aperitivo o birra fresca . Hotel in prossimità della passeggiata sul lungomare di Valona ,mare/spiaggia,ristoranti ,bar e senza dover prendere l'auto. Hotel Onorato abbastanza insonorizzato dal traffico ,vacanzieri che passeggiano e anche al'interno dello stesso. I fratelli Gino e Olti vi fanno sentire a casa vostra e vi sapranno accogliere, indicare i posti migliori,come hanno fatto con la mia famiglia e amici .

A very centrally located hotel with all amenities very close by and just a short walk to the lovely sea front at Vlore. Very comfortable rooms, very clean and excellent bathroom. Lots of space for luggage. Choice of pillows - from hard to soft. Breakfast was adequate but there could have been more of it and more choice for a hotel of this kind. Staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend for a stay in lovely Vlore.

En cuanto al hotel, nada que decir, super buenas instalaciones. Lo malo es que la noche que llegamos, llegamos pasado el horario del check in (por retraso de nuestro vuelo), y pese a haber avisado con tiempo la situación, no nos querían dar una solución. Fue hasta que llegamos e insistimos un poco que al final nos enviaron a un ”apart hotel” muy cerca y ellos asumieron el costo. Entendemos que a esa hora el sistema no les permitía entregarnos nuestra habitación, pero habiendo avisado con 4 horas de anticipación, creo que podrían haber hecho algo más para ayudarnos, en fin, no se vio tanta colaboración y ganas de ayudar por parte del hotel. Fuera de eso, fue una buena estancia.

My husband and I stayed here during the month of July for 4 nights. Had the perfect coastal break in an ideal location with beautiful weather and super helpful hotel staff. Probably the best nights sleep we’ve had during our entire stay in Albania - the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was varied and fresh and on our last night, we tried the dinner menu which was delicious. The hotel staff - Kristi, Julian, Adi and Marilena and of course everyone else - were attentive and kind. Nothing was too much trouble for them! They all really made our stay enjoyable. The cleanliness and presentation were definitely a highlight. We would absolutely recommend to future visitors to Ksamil!
