This was a good place to stay near the yehliu geopark, since it was far from the cities... the breakfast was good and delicious...

Location is great with excellent view over the fisherman’s wharf. However, the arrival experience was quite awkward as once I got up to the room, there were two housekeeping carts right in front of my room and the room door was opened, this gave me an impression that the room was not ready. Besides, service from the Front Desk lady will need to improve as she gave me quite an awkward attitude upon both arrival and departure.

The view of the room is very beautiful, full sea view as we are staying at the top floor. The room is very spacious. The bedding is ok but a bit soft for me. The bathroom is good and the pressure of the water is very stable and the temperature of the hot water is good. The location of the hotel is a bit far away from the city but very close to the subway. If you want to visit Tamtsui, it is one of the good choice. The management should improve the cleanliness of the room, but compared with the price, it is okay for me to come again.

Conveniently located on the beach, a five minute walk from the train station. The room was large and clean. Bed were very comfortable. Lots of amenities. I like that the room had two toilets. The breakfast was copious, so much choice, mostly Chinese foods but delicious. The only thing I would say is the down side of this hotel is that the façade looks run down. It desperately needs a new paint job to look like a luxury hotel. The inside is really nice but the outside looks abandoned. But I noticed this is often the case with many buildings in Taiwan. The upkeep of the façade doesn’t seem important to them.

We've traveled worldwide, and The Koos Hotel is the worst and dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. If you are considering staying at this place, book another place now. My family had a big family reunion in Taiwan. Due to the hotel's convenient location, which is within walking distance from my relative's house, we booked several rooms to accommodate our big family. The night front staff was rude from the minute we walked into the hotel. He has no basic manner (ie. hello, thank you, or smile). I feel sorry for this miserable man. The day shift front desk staff was better but could have been better too. The hotel is very old and needs a lot of work/TLC. You can smell it as soon as you walk into the room. The carpet and bathroom were old and dirty. One of our rooms even had a moldy closet. The shower was not draining and flooded when we took a shower. The AC is bearly working to stay cold. Not to mention, we saw cockroaches in the room. The list goes on and on. The only clean thing was the bed sheet and bathroom towels. We arrived very early at 1 am, plus many of us just got off the plane after 15 hours of international flight. We don't have enough energy to find another hotel at that time. Besides, we have already paid for the rooms. What annoyed me the most was when the manager promised us a bigger room (we even double-confirmed before arrival); by the time we check-in, the same night shift front desk staff said the room they promised us was booked by other people already and gave us a standard room instead. No apology whatsoever. We are upset because the Koos Hotel has no simple principle and all because they want to make an extra buck. I don't want anyone to be treated this way. You have to walk to the end of Jiufen's old street with all the twists and turns. where you will find an alley full of inns and tea houses. The view is so breathtaking from up here. You pass the temple and you will find yourself in this little inn tucked in this mountainside. The front desk was super nice and helpful. They have a place to take off your shoes and change into a pair of slippers. the front desk area also has a place to get water, tea, coffee or heat up snacks or toast. The room was breathtaking, our room once you lay down on the bed can see the ocean. The room was clean and tidy. Very minimal industrial chic. The shower area could be a little cleaner but it was ok. Bring insect repellent if you get bitten easily like me. With the humidity and the mountainside, there are bound to be mosquitoes. The bed was super comfy, we decided to stay the night at Jiufen because we wanted to experience the night lights once all the tourists left the area. The lanterns are beautiful. Also we wanted an early start before it gets too busy at Ameis Teahouse.

房間內部裝修好日式，茶房浴室都很和風。民宿早餐十分豐富，擺盤味道都十分好！民宿老闆很友善，會幫助叫計程車！

Excellent service, delicious bfast, sparkling clean room with modern touch and elegant.. so happy with my stay. The room is so much better than my expectations.

因為有經過整修，整體環境都很不錯，地下室有小朋友遊戲區，可以玩車車、溜滑梯和扮家家，也有其他大人可以玩的桌球、撞球...等。 因為有跟櫃台要求住有上下舖的房間，有內外兩間，房間很寬敞，還能面看海洋，景觀很不錯！ 浴室雖然不大，但整體很乾淨。 在野柳住到這樣的家庭房，以6000出頭的價位，算是可以的。 Google上評論相對偏低，可能是早期還未整修前累積的評分，2023年改建後，相信整體的評分應該會漸漸往上拉的。
