I stayed there for one week and I would definitely do it again. The location was perfect, only 15 minutes by walking to Times Square. The room was tidy and sufficiently equipped. The staff was very kind and helpful and also the breakfast was great. I can highly recommend! :)

Nice location. Rooms are clean and comfortable, excellent for a hostel at this price. The host Sunny is SUPER friendly and helpful. Free breakfast is provided as well. All of these have totally exceeded my expectations. I really recommend this place for anyone who plans for a short stay at NYC.

Sunny was great and hospitable. The place is fantastic! Will definitely be coming back. The place is near all great spots and very walkable. Breakfast was delicious and check in was easy and flexible. A great space if you are traveling solo. It was clean too.

Fantastic place, wasn't sure how it would be but very clean and comfortable, they are very strict with noise, good showers and clean bathroom. Very centrally located in Manhattan, Sunny even gave me a gift when leaving. Will definitely stay again thank you!

This was my 3rd time I stay here. It is a wonderful place. Clean rooms, shared areas and restroom. Friendly staff in particular Sunny. Perfect location, close to everything. I will be coming back once I am in New York City. Thank you for everything

The location is awesome. This place is suitable for a solo traveller looking to explore nearby locations and not spend too much time as the hostel. Sunny make sure that the experience at the hostel was amazing and all the basic necessities were accessible.

This is an awesome choice if you’re looking for a hostel is Manhattan! Sunny is super friendly and helpful. You can leave your luggage with them before check in. The rooms and bathroom are nice and clean and the lobby is stocked with snacks all day if you’re feeling peckish!

I stayed in New York for five days and had a great experience with Spirit Retreits. Great location, clean and organized environment, delicious breakfest, kind and helpful staff, especially SUNNY. I recommend it and would definitely come back!

I loved my stay at NYC spirit etreat a lot! Very clean, very loving and kind treatment of all guests. Sunny for example, he looks a lot that you feel good and healthy, gave me evwn apple juicecfor free or fruits. The breakfast, that is included in the price , was super delicious. You can choose a variety of food or milks (even vegan). Sunny also feeds the homeless 3x a week! The location is also fantastic, no 5minutes and you are at Madison Square Garden/Penn Station. I will defintely return!
