The Blakely by LuxUrban

This hotel is very old and has little to no amenities. No coffee, in the room, or lobby. No USB ports for phone chargers in the room. No food. I tried to switch from a King to 2 queen beds, which still showed available on the sight, and cheaper than the original price of my room. They wanted to charge me $150 to switch rooms.the windows are so thin that we could hear everything on the street. Very difficult to sleep. Won’t ever stay here again.

This hotel is a fantastic option if you have the right expectations. Pros: Fantastic location, huge rooms (for NYC), clean, no extra charge for 3 or 4th guest in 2-queen rooms, great price Cons: This seems like it was previously a 4 or 5 star hotel that hasn't had much maintenance in the last 30 years and is now a limited service hotel offering reasonable prices. It is clean but a little rough around the edges (could use some paint and wallpaper repairs, some stains in carpets, etc). Staff are very nice but sp****, so you may need to have a little patience at check-in, towel requests etc. Overall, I think it's a good value for money, especially if you're a family and don't want to pay for an extra room for the kids. The pictures are very accurate in terms of what the place will look like, though they don't show some of the slightly shabby aspects.

Very rude staff. No shampoo or conditioners given. They have no towels too. Extremely rude staff. They didn’t care at all.

I really enjoyed my stay, the bed was huge and comfortable and it had a bath which was a big plus. The wifi was good and the room was clean. Good friendly service, would stay here again :)

I had a awesome day in the hotel. It was clean and friendly environment and employees were friendly.

Hotel is very nice and clean, has a very homey feeling, amazing service by the staff, great location.

A bit dirty

忘拍圖了 酒店復古風，工作人員服務態度很好，我們行李很多，入住和退房非常積極主動幫我們搬行李。 再來説説缺點吧 1️⃣電梯好小，衹能站4個行李箱和3個人，電梯就滿了。多一個人、多一個行李箱都裝不下！！！ 2️⃣個人感覺廁所過大了 顯得床那塊有點緊湊，雖然配了個沙發床，但是也睡不了 也就是個座位，反而占房間總體面積。 3️⃣第二天退房 不提供免費的寄存服務。寄存一個收2刀，我們7個行李收了14刀！！！一般酒店不應該免費寄存嗎？？？這點很不滿意！！

Great location! Turning left out of the front door is 1/2 block to the subway entrance with a bus stop also near that… on Broadway. You can walk about 8 blocks south to Times Square or take the subway or bus. Or, walk 3 blocks north to Central Park. The NY City Center (theater) is directly across from the lobby entrance. Also, if are wanting to stay about ground but in covered areas you are right by 6 1/2 Avenue which is a walk through about 8 buildings out of the weather. This is a tiny hotel (but tall) with only 8 rooms per floor but it checked all the boxes for us. It’s an older hotel so you could see wear on the baseboards in the restrooms but it was clean. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, & dishes available which was helpful. We were truly satisfied & I would stay here, again. We had no complaints.
