Court Colman Manor

This just wasn't what i was expecting. The room is beyond its best. I had to go out for food as there wasn't anything edible, when you have been traveling all day this is the last thing you want to do. It's a shame these places have been left to rot so badly. It's no surpise people book with larger chains!

We booked court Colman for our wedding after our original venue went into liquidation. As the saying goes “everything happens for a reason” and we were so glad it did. From the get go Alison was just AMAZING she allowed us to book all of the hotel rooms for Friday and Saturday night as we had guests travelling far and wide. On the Friday night 42 of us ate at the sister hotel - the great house which was really delicious and so well organised they even put on transport for us. The wedding itself was just perfect. Everything ran smoothly without a hitch. Alison and her team are just so experienced, organised and totally calm. Nothing is too much trouble for staff at court Colman. Our guests had an amazing weekend in a beautiful location and made memories that will last forever. Alison and your team you made our day amazing. Thank you so much.

Went for a Christmas meal with work on the 14th of December. 4 meat options with no veggie options. A choice of 3 veg ( carrots parsnips and roast potatoes, though I was told they were not dairy free as I have a dairy intolerance. Only chocolate cake for dessert and no other options. Prosecco upon arrival which was watered down with cranberry juice and canapés which all had gluten or dairy. I was told there were options when we booked but when I asked the waitresses I was told no alternatives. Imagine that at this day and age. Guess how much I pain for all this! Bearing in mind all I had was a bit of turkey, carrots, potatoes and parsnips but only because I had to eat something and I was told it was all cooked in oil but clearly it was butter because it upset my stomach badly. I couldn’t have the dessert because there was no dairy alternative. There was also no hot hold for the food so it definitely wasn’t kept at correct temperature. £55. Ludicrous. I’ll never come here again.

I recently had my wedding at Court Colman. Wow, it was the perfect day from start to finish. The staff are phenomenal, made us feel so calm and special, made our guests feel welcome, included and equally as soecial, and Alison the coordinator really went above and beyond, she kept me (the bride) feeling calm, she helped my mother when her hair was a disaster, she got everything ready and looking impeccable for us. Food was phenomenal day and night, and they even took some food to the honeymoon suite for us. Honestly they were incredible, went above and beyond. I'd love to do it again just to be there and experience the awesomeness again. Cant thank the staff enough for a flawless, perfect and truly magical day.

Stayed in the Nos Da suite. Beautiful room, really comfy bed and had a really great nights sleep. The staff are fab, all friendly, helpful and just genuinely nice people. The food was gorgeous, the views are lovely, and the spa bath was super relaxing. Will be visiting again for sure.

Just want to say a massive thanks to Alison and the team for our wedding on the 1st of August. We booked the venue 2 years ago when we fell in love with the grounds and the space. Coming from a large family it was so nice to have the option of allowing all family and friends the chance to stay if they wanted to. Everyone is friendly and court Colman felt very welcoming from the beginning and we have enjoyed visiting court Colman many times with the wedding planning. The food was lovely! The buffet went down a treat. Many super thanks to Alison for being so down to earth and helping us have a great day, the venue was decorated exactly how we had hoped in our minds and more. So we appreciate the effort from Alison and all the other staff, there was also one staff member we would like to give a special mention To ( unfortunately didn’t catch her name) but i appreciated how she kept checking in on me and asking if I needed anything, on a day with such nerves really Helped. We can’t wait to come back and book our anniversary stay! Many thanks Mr and Mrs Wakely :)
