I get that its a Premier Inn but the photos are better than the actual place is. The pillows were too long and hard. The bed was a standard double and quite small. The Interior is dated. Very basic - carpet style awful. I'd say Ok if you just need somewhere to sleep, but the bed was too small for a double!

They need to hire more staff for the dinner time restaurant/check in. The lady who worked there was very good but very busy. One guy was very ill taking orders for food but he was obviously full of a cold. I think there was one chef and they struggled to cope with 3 or 4 tables. In the morning there was more staff who didn't seem ill and the service/quality was better.

Managers Ross and Angela can feel proud of ALL their team - friendly, caring, professional and helpful. They are interested in guests as people and sometimes have to switch roles from reception or bar to cooking in the kitchen or serving meals, doing everything equally skilfully. The food is good, the rooms are comfortable and the hotel is well situated with views of the Tyne. I'll be back!

As always, the mattress is fantastic, but today's breakfast was excellent! I had a full English (grilled tomato, no beans), all cooked to perfection. Service was prompt and pleasant, thanks to Ellie, a really sweet & helpfull young lady with top class hair!

Visiting Newcastle for a wedding and was very pleased with our night Millennium Bridge. Friendly staff, plenty of parking - reasonably priced. Easy to access out of hours. We checked out Sunday morning and were within walking distance of a fantastic market. Easy to get an early check in and we will definitely be coming back for a city break

We’ve stayed here a good few times now, and the staff are absolutely lovely-so friendly and helpful. The hotel is comfortable and clean with all the facilities we need, and it’s the perfect location. The parking is also a positive. We’ve stayed there about 6 times so far, and will happily stay there again

The hotel was just as good as other Premier Inns we've stayed in, but what really impressed us was the young girl doing the reception desk duties in the morning, plus she was telling us all about how the breakfast works because it's not a buffet like other Premier Inns, plus she took breakfast orders and served the food too. I didn't notice what her name is but well done to her!!!

This Premier Inn was a great hotel for our 1 night stay with friends. The hotel is well kept. We were at an event the night before and the next morning we had a cooked breakfast in the restaurant. This stood out, it was fresh and tasty. Following this, the young girl on breakfast was exceptionally cheerful, despite her being a little busy. Her customer service skills were high and we will look at booking this hotel again in the future. Location was good for our event and parking was around what we expected.

Very basic room. Bed was nothing like the adverts which in this case was 2 single bases cobbled together.1 towel in room for 2 people and a broken & filthy shower curtain. Total lack of amenities and think they just cater for business people now who don’t really care where they stay. Premier Inn used to be so much better ( and cheaper ) now I think they don’t give a toss. I definitely won’t be choosing premier Inn to stay in a hurry as their are much better options out there.
