We’ve just spent 3 nights at Deanfield and would highly recommend. It’s an elegant property that has been really tastefully decorated. Jo was a wonderful host, greeting us on arrival and was very obliging when we asked for fresh milk for our room each day. We stayed in room 3 at the front of the house and it was spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were good. We found this to be an excellent base for exploring the Forest of Dean/Wye Valley area.

Enjoyed a two night stay in a large, triple room equipped with everything we needed. Newly refurbished, plush carpet, clean, comfy beds. Jo was so helpful, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a treat in the sunny room and a nice choice of food. Poached eggs were perfect! The surrounding area is lovely.

Stayed here for three nights and it was faultless! Jo was friendly and welcoming from the start. Our room was perfect, spotlessly clean with everything you could wish for on hand. Breakfast, ordered the night before, was absolutely spot on. Plenty of onsite parking so no need to worry, and the location is perfect too, right in the heart of the Forest of Dean and also well placed for the surrounding area. A delightful stay from start to finish.

We have just had brilliant 2 nights stay. Breakfast was excellent. Friends 70th but they were staying on camp close by with family. We decided this next suited us. Saw steam train. Pubs close by the woodman and the fountain inn both move places and good food .Thank you Jo and your team

We had a great weekend staying here to go cycling in the Forest of Dean. A warm welcome from Jo when we arrived and we were shown to a lovely spacious, clean room with a bath that was welcome after a long day cycling. Had a really enjoyable breakfast in the morning, delicious. Will definitely be back!

Brilliant location to visit Forest of Dean attractions. Lovely b&b - everything provided and beautifully clean. Two nice pubs close by. Didn’t meet Daryl,but Jo was lovely and helped us out with information about the area. Highly recommended

We were at an event in the area and this little place was in the perfect place. There was good off road parking and a very well presented property. The owner Jo greeted us and showed us to our first floor room. This place is spotless with a comfy bed and nice bathroom, there was even real coffee for you to use in the room, a welcome touch. The breakfasts are excellent and are freshly prepared for you at your chosen time. We wished we had been able to stay longer. Thanks

We spend a lot of time in the Forest, this is one of the best places we've stayed .Very clean , tastefully decorated B&B. I would recommend it . Our host Jo was very cheerful and welcoming, the breakfasts are tasty and served in spotless dining rooms. Handily located in the centre of the Forest, with many of the Forest's attractions at hand..

I have stayed here twice in the past fortnight and it has been brilliant. I am a regular traveller all over the UK and this place is a little diamond. Recently purchased by the new owners who have spent monies on new decor, bathrooms and facilities it is in excellent condition. The breakfasts have been extremely good and the two rooms I have stayed in have both been to a very high standard. Jo and Daryl have been great hosts and I strongly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.
