The Inn is a wonderful little gem, steps from the wharf and walkable to the Cliff Walk. Our accommodations were absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The Innkeepers John and Laurence were extremely friendly, knowledgeable of the area and very accommodating for anything that we needed. Laurence made the beautifully presented and absolutely delicious breakfast each morning of our stay. We were there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful surprise, champagne in our room when we arrived. We would absolutely stay there again, and would highly recommend the Almondy Inn!

This was our first time at a Bed & Breakfast and we had an amazing stay! Our room was so cozy and clean, and the homemade breakfast every morning was DELICIOUS! If you’re in Newport, RI this is the best place to stay! John and Laurence were wonderful hosts!

Great location on a calm street close to the harbour and best restaurants. Cute, clean (but rather small) room, good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Complimentary coffee & cookie upon arrival, as well as wine &cheese hour at 5 pm in the charming lounge downstairs!

My family and I spend three nights in this wonderful Inn! The hosts are friendly and kind and always available to give information and suggestions about the best activities, restaurants, etc... Every morning, breakfast was delicious (and plentiful) and newspapers had been made available to the guests. The common spaces and the rooms are clean and with attention to detail. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely come back. Thanks to all the staff for giving us such a peaceful stay!

The Almondy Inn could not be better. John, Laurence and Shelby are perfect hosts. The rooms are spotless and extremely comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful, as is the wine and cheese offered later in the day. The living room is a delightful place to review the day, and catch up with other guests. The location cannot be beat - literally steps from the best restaurants, the harbor, the museums. Free onsite parking is a huge benefit. A short drive takes you to Cliff Walk and the Newport "cottages". Overall, the Almondy Inn is the perfect place to stay in Newport.

The Almondy Inn was the perfect spot for a getaway weekend in Newport. The location is very close to but not on top of the shops and restaurants near Bowes and Bannister Wharfs so it is super convenient but still quiet. The inn is beautifully rebuilt, the innkeepers are very professional and friendly and the inn has everything needed for a relaxing stay. The breakfast surpasses any that we have had in an inn and they are very accommodating with dietary preferences and requests. The wine and cheese served daily in the afternoon is a welcome opportunity to wind down and recharge after a day of activities in Newport and before going out to dinner. Absolutely spectacular and first rate inn!

Had a wonderful stay at the Almondy Inn. From the moment we arrived and greeted by Shelby, to our goodbyes to John and Laurence, our stay was perfect. The Inn is immaculate, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the gourmet breakfast was delicious. It was a perfect place for a weekend getaway. The location is perfect, within walking distance of anywhere we wanted to go. I highly recommend staying here.

The best Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed. Seriously clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, beautifully decorated. The breakfast was beyond delicious. Wine and cheese was an added delight. Host and hostesses were helpful and personable. We will return.

This Inn is a slice of Heaven, perfect location, A warm welcome awaits you. This B&B is an escape from the noise and stress other hotels can bring. The entire place is spotless. beautiful decorated . each room is privately located. Hospitality thru out your day & nite, excellent mornings breakfast.
