Hotel Pantai di Nice

Our experience with this hotel was unfortunately nothing but disappointing - and 4 days shorter than planned. When we checked in, we were met by a very humble and seemingly concerned receptionist, who was able to tell us that we had been allocated a room in the basement. They apologized, and tried to tell us that they had no other rooms to offer us (without us even asking, which should say something about how bad the staff KNOW these rooms are.) The basement room is small , low under the ceiling, smells of mold, and is FULL of cobwebs on the brick walls. What still worried me most was no possible escape route if the door to the hallway had been blocked. The windows could only be partially opened, and were blocked by bars on the outside. In other words, an extremely claustrophobic room without any kind of daylight, and a lot of noise from the street that we got straight into our ears. It's amazing that this hotel even uses this floor below ground for hotel rooms for paying guests, when it shouldn't be used for anything other than storage. The hotel otherwise looks good enough from the pictures, and the staff are pleasant and humble. In any case, this was an incredibly disappointing start to our honeymoon, but luckily we managed to find an okay Airbnb to stay in for the remaining days.

The location was amazing, right across from the beach. The man helping us with our luggage was so helpful and kind, he definitely helped make our experience here a lot more special. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Europe so far. Overall great and will be back for sure

Clean large rooms - modern furnishings, excellent customer service, great location near hotel and tram and bus stop. Near to centre of Nice. We didn’t use breakfast option . Unfortunately swimming pool was closed when we stayed. Would definitely recommend and return

Due to a cancelled flight out of Nice, I needed a hotel near the airport. For sure a good choice to take this one. A 10 minute walk from the terminal. Very clean and neat hotel. Of course not a Hilton style but for a basic hotel, I can only recommend. The dinner in the hotel is good. The menu choice is small but I kind of like it.

A bit small but it was perfect for our 2 night stay and the location was perfect! Very comfortable and clean and quiet.

Me and my partner got only a weekend staying. Staff is really lovely, very helpful with everything. But for me the problem was the room- too small and walls were really thin, we had a loud guests in the next room and we could hear everything, that was a bit annoying as we expected for more privacy. The shower was really good though, but there were no toilet fans in the room, so if you had a shower all the room would be humid or with some smell. The breakfast menu was ok, the fruits salad wasn’t good, all the fruits very bitter, couldn’t eat anything. Jelly options were less then expected, but in general it offers different kind of breads and sweets boulangerie. Location is great!

위치, 시설 전부 만족스러웠습니다. 단지 체크인시에 백인 남자직원이 제가 예약한 스탠다드름은 이슈가 있다면서 정확한 설명없이 호텔 옆 아파트방을 주겠다고 했습니다. 방에 문제가 있으니 더 큰 방을 준다길래 따라가보니 낡고 오래된 냄새나는 방이었습니다. 그래서 따졌더니 현재 수리중인 방이 있는데 기다릴테면 기다리라며 데려가길래 기다리겠다고 했더니 그제서야 제대로 된 방을 찾아서 안내해주었습니다. 와이프와 저 모두 인종차별이라고 느꼈고 체크아웃시에 컴플레인하고 싶었지만 니스에서의 기억도 좋았고 더 이상 말을 섞고싶지 않아서 그만뒀습니다. 오후시간에 근무하는 백인 금발 남자직원은 꼭 본인의 잘못을 깨닫고 피부색은 아무것도 아니라는 것을 알았으면 좋겠네요.

I cannot recommend this hotel especially at the prices they charged. Arrived at 5.30pm and room wasn't ready. They then said it was and gave us a smaller room than we had booked and paid for. When we said so they told us ”Americans have a different idea of what king-sized means”. An hour later they called and agreed we had indeed booked a bigger room and offered to move us to one with a king bed. The man from reception then took us to said room without offering to help us with our luggage. Just stood and watched us drag our bags across the carpeted corridors ...All I can say is it was 3 star service and quality at VERY high prices. The next morning we moved to an absolutely world class hotel which was ten times nicer and less expensive. Over-priced, outdated and obnoxious staff.

The location of the hotel is good, very close to the old NICE. There are a lot of cafe and restaurant within walking distance. There are also car park nearby, with EURO 28/day. The hotel is very basic and old. The carpet is very old, but I think it is clean. The room size is ok.

Rien à redire sur la chambre et la déco en général. le rooftop avec la vue et la piscine est absolument sublime, c'est très agréable, le personnel est très attentif et aux petits soins, seul point négatif, le spa est légèrement décevant, les installations font vieilles, pas très bien décoré et éclairé, ça ne met pas le spa en valeur, il manque un jacuzzi mais le personnel du spa est super top, et ils font les meilleurs massage. Niveau rapport qualité prix, c'est le meilleur 5 étoiles de Nice ! Et le fait de ne pas être en front de mer, mais on est quand même pas loin 10 min de marche et la ballade est très sympa, est vraiment compensé par le rooftop qui est le meilleur point de l'hotel.
