Excellent stay at the Sheraton Nice Airport, in France Côte d'Azur, for a short relaxing holiday under the sun. This hotel is very modern, built in glass and overlooking the airport with its runways. Location is good because you can take the bus or the tramway to every spot of the city of Nice, or catch the train from St. Augustin railway station, just 5 min walking, to other villages of the Côte. Check in experience was very smooth and professional, they upgraded my room to the Club Level as per Marriott Bonvoy Titanium membership, along with breakfast and Lounge access. The room itself was very nice and large, with big windows facing the tram route but very very quiet, no noise during the night. There were a huge TV and a comfortable double bed, kettle and coffee machine. Very good restautant for breakfast and a la carte dinner, not a huge selection but tasty dishes and very nice personnell, trés sympa! On the top floor there is a beautiful terrace (with swimming pool during the season) overlooking the airport and the sea behind it, where you can suntan. On the other hand, Club Lounge service and offerings could be improved to be up to Marriott standards in Europe. A big plause to the young and professional staff!

The room is big enough for 2. The bed is comfortable and their parking need to pay another 20€ per night. Within a walking distance from the airport and well connected with the city center and Promenade Anglaise. Staff is really polite and helpful- front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, room-service. We have stayed with two small kids and felt like home. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this hotel from May 23 to 26, 2024, in room 709, and it was a terrible experience. During our European tour, we stayed at four different hotels, and this one was by far the worst. First of all the room is super super small and the mattress was of very low quality, feeling like sleeping on a rock. There were stains on the sheets, and the towels were even worse—thinner than toilet paper and shedding like pieces when used. Despite paying for cleaning service, our room was not cleaned on the first day, and there was no door sign for cleaning or ”do not disturb.” The hallways were a mess, unvacuumed, and had a noticeable smell. When I explained the situation to Youssef El Habib at the front desk, he was unsure why the room wasn't cleaned and did not offer a refund for the service that we already payed for. Avoid this hotel if you can. I've stayed in more than 20 hotels and never wrote a review until now—this experience compelled me to do so. The only positive side is that it’s near the airport. There is not telephone in room to call any service btw, you have to go down in order to ask for anything and yes it is super noisy you can hear you neighbours and the noises on the streets and to make things worse it was the priciest between the all hotels we stayed at. Absolute worse experience.

I really liked the airport pick and drop off shuttle service it was so efficient and was a very warm welcome. The location of the hotel is just 3-5 minutes away by car and it is easy to move from and to the hotel. It was a good experience overall and recommend the hotel. As well perhaps you can enhance your welcome amenities, any small local amenities that won’t cost all a lot will be an additional touch to the hotel.

Reception was shocking, everytime we needed assistance the wait was long and customer service not good, no one could be bothered. Small bar not a problem but no stock not even ice. The indoor pool was a good size but guest were allowed to walk in and out through the dining area wet with no shoes on straight into the lift. There seemed to be a lot of young people and familes being housed there, again not a problem but there was no hotel experience or service for the paying guest. The rooms were really nice and clean lots of space but the night we arrived one guest had been beaten up and had to be attended to by paramedics and police. Not sure how they got in as needed key card to enter lift. The saving grace for me was the roof terrace and pool, good space, lovely pool and the fact that were english and the weather was hot for us we had the whole area to ourselves as it was to cold for everyone else. The train runs almost directly behind the hotel which is cheap and a good way to travel in and out of the center. I would not stay here again.
