Well, it’s the Ritz Carlton, so expect the price and expect the proportional experience! Staff was super attentive from the moment I got on the shuttle bus to the moment I step off the bus going back to Tokyo. My Rooms was impressively spacious and impeccably appointed. I just havs breakfast once during my two nights stay, it was professionally prepared and it was priced accordingly ( very high end😂！）I decided to go on a diet so I can go back to eat in Tokyo, all joking aside, it was a great soul healing and spirit rejuvenating journey to visit Nikko😆😆😆

The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, and the hot spring was great. The service was really good. The only downside is that the location is a bit far. Everything else was perfect.

Unexpectedly delightful! The hotel room was beautiful, and every staff member we encountered, from check-in to check-out, was wonderful. The hotel offers many activities; we joined the stargazing and Lake Chuzenji walk, and the stargazing activity gave us an incredible view of the night sky!

The room is super spacious, with top-notch facilities and a beautiful environment. The only drawback is that the road leading up the mountain is a bit far. Breakfast is plentiful.

Fantastic service and experience. Seamless check-in from the moment we were greeted at the front porch all the way being orienteered around the hotel and escorted to the hotel. Facilities immaculate, especially loved the Onsen. Information regarding our dietary requirements have been communicated well through the different teams at the hotel.

During the recent three-day autumn foliage season, rooms in Nikko were extremely difficult to book, especially balcony rooms with views of Nantaiyama and Chuzenji Lake. This time, I checked in at noon and requested an upgrade to a lake view room, and luckily, one became available on the 5th floor, the top floor. The balcony of the room offered a breathtaking lake view! Although the price was high, it was truly amazing! Environment: Prime location near Chuzenji Lake, with its own dedicated station. The pier, lakeside, and Kegon Falls are all within walking distance. Service: Top-notch. From check-in to introductions, turndown service, and breakfast the next day, the staff were impeccably at home! They now offer twice-daily shuttle service from Nikko Station. Truly fantastic! Facilities: Complete with all amenities, including a private onsen (hot spring), and state-of-the-art bathing and skincare facilities. Cleanliness: Spotless, and the public areas are impeccably beautiful. Staying here is like living inside an oil painting, except for the price. But this is just one example! The purpose of making money is to achieve Ritz-Carlton freedom.

The hotel boasts an innovative design, numerous smart amenities in the rooms, and a beautiful outdoor environment with breathtaking views of Lake Chuzenji. Coming during good weather and the autumn foliage season is truly worth the price of admission.

The hotel's Japanese restaurant has more food, and the bar has less food. It's a bit troublesome to make reservations in advance for Japanese restaurants.

Maybe it's because everyone is here for vacation? The staff is very slow overall, serving food is slow, checkout is slow, too. Overall, I feel that the service facilities and location do not match the room rate of this level.

Although the price is not cheap, the hotel staff's service is kind, thoughtful and considerate, making you feel at home. The hot spring in Dazhongchi is very comfortable. It would be more perfect if the room could also be a hot spring.
