Square Hotel

This is a really nice hotel only about 300m from the Arènes ( Roman Amphitheater). They came to my rescue when the place where I had booked neglected to send me entry code then failed to honour my booking. The gentleman at reception was very reassuring and, luckily, found me a room even though it was getting very late. The room was spacious and very comfortable and clean. The breakfast at a cost of 10€ was very good with a variety of choice. Can highly recommend this hotel.

A small, modern, quiet hotel in the corner of Square de la Couronne. It is in an excellent location. The arena is just up the road, 5 to 10 minutes stroll. There is an entrance to the Arenes underground parking diagonally across the square. There are other access points too. We got a great night's sleep. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. There was a fridge with complementary bottles of water. WiFi was very good. Our room was at the back. This hotel is ideal for one night. When we were leaving Reception was abandoned and we had to hang around until the guy returned to the hotel.

A wonderful Hotel situated on a lovely square. Friendly and efficient people at the reception. We had a room with balcony which meant waking up to the sounds of Nimes was wonderful. It s located a 10 min walk from the trainstation, the arena is just around the corner and the charming city centre five minutes walk. Recommended

It was a bad mistake choosing this hotel. Check-in is at 4 p.m. We were able to leave our suitcases but hoped that we might get a room earlier. At about 3.45 p.m. our room became available. Considering check-out is at 11 a.m. I think that more staff are needed to get the rooms available quicker. We were staying in a superior double room with balcony overlooking the nice square to the front. Our room was incredibly hot. The air conditioning was making a noise but there was no cool air coming out. We waited for an hour and the room was not cooling down. I approached reception, they did something on a screen and I was told it would be better now.....it wasn't.....absolutely nothing coming from the system....maybe dry air but certainly not cool air. As a result we had to sleep with the windows open. We ended up with over a dozen mosquito bites the next day. Our bed was comfortable, the pillows were not. One very hard pillow and one very soft pillow. The room decor and layout was truly awful, it could be so much better. In fact the whole hotel needs someone with a good eye to decorate it because it is a beautiful building from the outside. Large bathroom with poor use of the space. Decent shower, moving toilet seat, scuffed floor, paint splashes. The breakfast was truly awful. Cold scrambled eggs, cold bacon.....not lukewarm...it was stone cold. The orange juice was a brown sludge coming from a machine. It looked as if it had been sitting there forever. Nice bread rolls, some cake, some yogurts. A bottle of long life milk for your cereal. There was nobody manning the area, I have never seen anything like it anywhere. I would suggest you save your €10 and eat out. To think we nearly booked a three night stay here, we were so lucky we didn't.

Tout simplement parfait ! Situé à 5' de la gare, des arènes de Nîmes et du centre-ville, tout en étant au calme. Chambre spacieuse et confortable, un vrai plaisir d'y séjourner. De plus, j'avais acheté quelques produits frais aux halles (à visiter!) et j'ai pu les stocker au frigo avant mon départ. Encore merci pour l'accueil !

Des professionnels Il est très important de dire ici que nous avons été très satisfaits du Square hôtel Nimes tant par la qualité de l’accueil, des prestatations, qualité de la literie, insonorisation, présence de tea et coffee facilities, minibar avec boissons de courtoisie, propreté de la chambre et des communs. L’hôtel est très bien situé à 5 min de la gare bref que dire n’Hesitez pas. C’est une affaire tenue par des professionnels frère et sœur au top ! Je précise que je suis du métier également et donc avec des attentes élevées mais là rien a dire tout était impeccable
