Feather Leaf Inn

Ryan and Corina were wonderful hosts for our first time on St Croix. Their home is beautifully authentic with breathtaking views, and they are warm and helpful “teachers” of the island. We loved visiting with other guests and staff over amazing vegan breakfasts and feel like we walked away with new friends in Emily and Joy. We hope to be back one day to explore even more of Featherleaf Inn and St Croix. Thank you!!

AMAZING! Quit looking and just book it! This is probably one of the best places I have ever stayed. The entire package is A+, the setting, the rooms, the pool, the views, the friendless of hosts. It just doesn’t get better. I am sad to leave and can’t wait to come back!

Such an amazing afternoon at the Feather Leaf Inn We enjoyed their first ever Sunday brunch! Loved every scrumptious bite and surprise it was all vegan! And for those nonvegan, you literally have no clue what you're missing! What a lovely treat! With Vegan Chef Berenike VonShilling... and if you know me with travels .. I have a fascination with bathrooms...even their bathroom was a dreamy paradise! Check out pics! This place was a gem of a find 💗

Staying at Feather Leaf Inn was one of the more memorable trips of our life! This place is truly magical. What a gorgeous property, well taken care of, immersed in nature, and close to everything. Such a warm, welcoming space. The breakfast spread was so thoughtful, healthy, and delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We would stay here again and again.

Our weeklong stay at Feather Leaf Inn's Ocean House was terrific. This 260 + year old carriage house, once part of a cane plantation is in great shape-- modern conveniences while preserving its historical character. The deck is splendid. It has a very private feel. We chose to eat dinner there just nearly every night, overlooking the sea at sunset. Butler Bay is a 1 min walk: excellent swimming, snorkeling for strong swimmers with booties/water shoes who mind the tides. The property has a rich history which the owners (Ryan and Corina) will kindly share.

The Feather Leaf Inn is a plantation estate built in the 1760. Ryan & Corina have totally renovated it into a fine inn. Located just a few miles from Fredriksted provides access to many fine restaurant and a large sandy beach is close-by. The rooms are up to date and there are many nice places to hangout: the large balcony, the pool and several common areas. The architecture is stunning and the 3’ thick stone walls provide great acoustics.

I wouldn't mind coming back to this place. The sunsets were beautiful, the hosts very nice and the room comfortable and clean. I really recommend it ! It is especially nice if you are looking for a romantic stay

I happily stumbled upon this gem on AirBNB. From the moment I arrived, all the stress I had carried from the past 2 years vanished. The Feather Leaf Inn is magical and beautiful. It is clean and informal, but gorgeous. The owners made us feel very welcome, more like friends we hadn't met yet than strangers. I appreciated their genuineness in welcoming us and helping us negotiate any minor issues we encountered. Even my husband, who prefers work to vacation warmed up quickly to Ryan and Corrina. Our room was very comfortable with an excellent open air (but private) shower. We had a front entrance and a rear entrance and thus a beautiful front yard and a beautiful back yard. I'm claiming it because I am planning to return there as soon as possible!

The Feather Leaf Inn is magical. It is a serene escape from the world, where we soaked in the quiet beauty and romance of the place. We had a great stay of three nights. Our rental car was very useful, and we had very pleasant days on Rainbow Beach and walking through Estate Mount Washington, with terrific meals in Frederiksted – all close by. We spent each evening back at the inn, sitting on the big veranda, reading and listening to the wind and waves, and looking at the stars. We especially appreciated the tranquility of the inn – there is no distracting music playing, no TVs, and no noisy air conditioning units. (A couple guest rooms in the main house do have A/C.) We stayed in the Dragonfly House, with a stunning view out to the ocean. Our room was simple but clean and comfortable, and we made use of the communal kitchen to make coffee in the mornings and store some food in the fridge. I was worried that we would be hot without air conditioning, but with the windows open, the breeze blew through and kept us cool. The thick walls of the old buildings also help keep out the midday heat. (There were fans in the room, too, if needed.) We recently stayed at an ocean-front unit where the A/C was so loud we couldn’t hear anything over it, so we loved falling asleep at night to the sound of the waves. There are few guest rooms, so the Feather Leaf felt like our private hideaway. Owners Corina and Ryan are very friendly and helpful. They do a great job of keeping everything lovely and orderly but also relaxed and inviting. The Feather Leaf may be too rustic for those who want a full-service hotel or resort, but for us it was one of the most memorable places we have stayed, and we would love to return someday. So peaceful and romantic! And, how often do you get to stay in a restored 1760 plantation house overlooking the Caribbean?
