The Hotel is very convenient to the beach and night life. The staff are very friendly however, I was a bit disappointed when I asked them to clean up the room they did not change the beddings but generally I enjoyed staying in the hotel.

Отель не плохой, купаться негде, пляж каменистый. Выручает мопед и соседние пляжи. При бронировании было указано двуспальная или две односпальных кровати, мы выбрали предпочтение двум односпальным кроватям, в итоге остались жить в номере с двуспальной. Мелочью испортили день рождения. Горячая линия trip проблема не решила, администрация отеля тоже. Убирались каждый день, бассейн не большой, завтраки сносные.

Nice boutique hotel. I had to change the room on the last night as I added an extra stay and the toilet was flooding before I even used it, but they fixed it quite well. Could easily hear people walking in the hallways, which could be an issue for light sleepers. Pool was amazing and right on the beach!

ห้องพักพอใช้ถึงแม้จะค่อนข้างเก่า รีสอร์ตแม้อยู่ไกลจากท่าเรือแต่ชดเชยด้วยการอยู่ติดกับทะเลและบรรยากาศที่เงียบสงบ โดยรวมถือว่าเกินคุ้มกับราคาหลักร้อยบนสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวในวันหยุดยาวแบบนี้

Basic but comfortable room with fridge and air con. Good sleep, hot water and loads of room.
Located centrally, close to excellent bars and eateries. Bakery over road serving fresh pastries and great coffee.
My room [15] was very close to the bar. They have a great band and pool table. It was loud but didn't disturb me.
Not much privacy. The rooms have a large window with curtains and a bench outside.
Overall OK.. very social spot.

Gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Bad und Bungalow waren sehr sauber. Die Damen die das Cottage führen waren super nett und haben uns sehr geholfen. Es gibt auch einen Scooterverleih zu ortsüblichen fairen Preisen. Leider kein guter Zugang zum Meer

Lag ist gut etwas am Hang und nach unten versetzt. Man hört die Musik von Himmel und Tingtong, ist aber nicht störed laut. Im Restaurant gibts super Pizza. Staff ist super nett. Sauberkeit war top, Ausstattung ist okay. Für mich ausreichend. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt auf jeden Fall. Am Pool könnte noch die ein oder andere Liege zum relaxen stehen.

Здравствуйте. В первую очередь охото поблагодарить Стива и Лили, это очень доброжелательные и гостеприимные люди. Стив и Лили, каждый день за вкусным завтраком, рассказывали о лучших местах и достопримечательностях острова. Комплекс состоит из отдельно стоящих домиков, расположенных вокруг шикарного бассейна. Рекомендую это место для тех, кто действительно хочет отдохнуть от суеты. На всей территории большое количество различных цветов и растений. Стив и Лили создали действительно шикарную атмосферу в своем комплексе, в который всегда охото возвращаться. Спасибо Стиву и Лили за отлично проведенный отпуск.

Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here.
We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after.
The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view.
As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience!
The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you.

EEkaterinkaЗамечательный отель в котором нам посчастливилось прожить 5 дней. Большая , красивая территория по которой можно гулять и любоваться павлинами, которые живут на территории. Есть бассейн, массаж. Можно поиграть в настольный теннис, бильярд, покататься на каяке и сап-борде. Отличный персонал- очень улыбчивые, приветливые и отзывчивые ребята. Очень вкусные и разнообразные завтраки, по типу «шведский стол» Целый день работает ресторан- в который можно придти покушать или заказать еду в номер или на пляж… Повара очень вкусно готовят!
Т.к. территория расположена отдельно, можно заказывать на ресепшен машину и водитель свозит вас бесплатно в магазин или отвезет вас на пляж Вайт Сент.
По вечерам очень тихо и спокойно, так что отдых подойдет для семейного отдыха с детьми, также для тех кто хочет тишины и покоя..
Ну а если ты хочешь изучить остров в твое расположение- аренда байков, чем мы и воспользовались. И остались очень довольны- остров прекрасену!
Однозначно советую посетить этот отель!

PPengguna Tanpa NamaDas Hotel wurde vor drei Wochen nach einer kompletten Umgestaltungen unter neuer Führung wiedereröffnet. Es gibt keinen direkten Strand, aber ein paar Schritte nach rechts beginnt ein langer Sandstrand. Viele russische Gäste. Leider wird ab 11:00 Uhr morgens bis Mitternacht der komplette Poolbereich mit lauter Musik beschallt, Ruhe Suchende sind hier fehl am Platz. Es ist wohl vom Konzept ein Beach Club. Sonst lässt das Hotel keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und die Zimmer sind sehr gut eingerichtet. Momentan ist das Servicepersonal noch nicht gut geschult, besonders im Hinblick auf die Reservierung der wenigen Sonnenliegen.

PPengguna TetamuWe have spent 6 nights in Santhiya Tree Koh Chang, even though it's rainy season, we still LOVE it there!
Design: we stay at the Pool Suite Water View, almost whole building made by carved wood, traditional Thai design and lots of character, looks very beautiful & classic.
Staffs: very friendly and excellent service
Pools: 60m long pool at the breakfast restaurant with some seats facing the pool & peaceful mountain view. Another pool right in front of the beach & close to the villas. Both pools clean & big. Santhiya Tree use pa kao ma thai sarong as beach towel, love it!
Food: delicious buffet breakfast & lots of variety. Food & drinks at the Chantara Restaurant is high quality & very yummy. The duo who sings at the restaurant are brilliant singers, you won't get bored with their performance.
Room: spacious & clean, lots of electric plugs & even beach bag for use. They burn lemongrass/ citronella oil in the bathroom to keep mozzies away & room smells good.
Massage at their spa: very good & reasonable price, sound of the waves makes the massage so relaxing, must try.
Shuttle bus to main street: every 2 hrs they can drop you or pick up from main street as there resort is not at the road side. Not sure if it's because of low season, hope the shuttle service can be more frequent.
Thank you everybody at Santhiya Tree Koh Chang for the great service and smiles. Will definitely come back for another holiday and highly recommend if you're looking for a fantastic place to stay! This beautiful place takes your stress away :)
P.S. there's a small part of the road right outside the resort leading to the entrance is unsealed with lots of potholes, pretty bumpy for cars and their shuttle bus, suggest Santhiya Tree do something with it.

PPengguna TetamuХороший отель, хоть и не новый. Удобное расположение: рядом много кафе и магазинов. Территория хорошая, много зелени. Завтраки скромные, основной рацион - яйца в разных вариантах. В добавок овощи, фрукты, зелень, выпечка.
Два бассейна: в большом ,похоже ,морская вода. Там не плавали, так как вода очень теплая, совсем не освежает. В маленьком вода лучше, чистая, можно освежиться)
Пляж очень красивый, но совершенно не купабельный! Камни. Зайти можно только в коралловых тапках. Не купались в море у отеля.
Есть каяки, пользование гостям отеля бесплатное.
Персонал доброжелательный, как и местное население.
Но отдельное спасибо девочкам на ресепшен. Очень гостеприимные, приветливые, всегда помогут!! И спасибо водителю отеля, он же помогает с багажом при заезде и выезде! Очень приятный и обходительный!
Будем останавливаться в этом отеле еще! ❤️

Travel duration: ~45 minutes by ferry from the Koh Chang Ferry port on the coastal Trat. ~20 minutes by car to get on the other side of the island
Hotel: occupies both sides of the road. Check in is available in the inner building, from where friendly and attentive staff take you with your belongings to your lodge. Hotel offers two types of stays: private cottages and apartment suites. Main attraction of hotel is private cottage with also private pool and nicest view of the sea, but it was reserved during my stay, so we will skip that.
Full amenities: robes, water, mini bar, and towels are set in a way that a guest feels most welcome.
On-site restaurant offers not only local, but also European kitchen and daily fire show after an amazing sunset.
What to do on the island: more like what not to do, because I don’t believe one can be bored there. Starting from scooter ride across the island and finished with diving, there are activities for any kind of character.
BB Divers offers amazing full day experience for professional or beginner divers (which I happen to be).
In conclusion: go there. It’s not full of people like other thai islands, but it’s more than unforgettable

AAmideeThis hotel is situated over the water with stilts, which I loved. Its unique appearance, with all its natural wood flooring and decks adds to its charm and feel of the fishing community. It’s a terrific place to stay for some great Thai Seafood!
The VIP rooms are recommended as they are spacious and have a lovely outside space to relax over looking the water. They also have plenty of windows and natural lighting. These rooms are very comfortable.
It has a restaurant attached to it, also over the water on stilts, which serves fantastic, fresh sea food dishes! My favorite meals was the barracuda with sweet and sour sauce and the calamari. They are good sized meals and their fresh juices are also perfect for the heat!
Aoys farm bakery and cafe is also very close by. If you go to your left of the entrance to this hotel you will see the sign for her cafe and bakery. Aoy makes the most delicious cakes that are supplied to many hotels and businesses on the island! Highly recommend going to see her charming cafe and bakery! It’s a short walk and great for fantastic breakfasts and fresh juices or warm drinks, if you don’t want sea food at the resort, go there!
The pool is lovely, as the water below the hotel is not clean and we did not want to swim in it. There are other beach locations for swimming.
You can hire a fishing rod and do some DIY fishing, or pay for fishing half or full day trips, hire bikes, and kayaks. I was satisfied with this location and would certainly consider staying there again for a night or two!
