This stay was plagued by a growing list of broken features, and a demeaning interaction with a host in the breakfast restaurant. However, the problem was handled brilliantly by an extraordinarily caring front desk staff member who facilitated our early move to a better hotel to complete our stay. Broken items were: (1) hot tub, surrounded with yellow caution tape. A major disappointment as this was the feature that promped our choice of this hotel. (2) a broken elevator, or at least one with a 'do not use' sign. However, the 'broken' elevator still initially opened when I hit the call button, which prevented the second 'non-broken' elevator from opening. I had to board the broken elevator temporarily and send it to a higher floor just to get it out of the way, so the functioning 'non-broken' elevator's doors would open. (3) TV worked in the evening, but failed to respond to the remote in the morning. A swapping of remotes did not help. (4) The exceptional desk staff member initially comped us breakfast due to our troubles. But when my family visited the restaurant and tried clarifying what items in HGI's three-tier breakfast pricing would be comped, I was demeaned by the host during bill payment who made a very loud and embarrassing display of ”see, you don't owe us anything”. I signed and walked out, embarrassed and disgusted. I then proceeded to the desk and asked the very kind desk staff member to accommodate us at the partner property next door (also Hilton), which she obliged with tremendous friendliness and efficiency. Thank goodness she was there to cushion an otherwise disastrous (1 night of 4 reserved) stay.

This is such a fantastic facility!!! Their customer service is top tier. I passed by the GM (Mila) in the hallway. She stopped and greeted me. She asked about my stay and if I needed anything. It was just speaking with a dear aunt or very interested inn keeper. It's simply wonderful. My check-in was a breeze. My room was clean and spacious. I was unsure about dinner and went to the front desk for assistance. I was warmly greeted by Kim (a newly promoted team member). She took out a legal pad and inquired about my food preferences. She filled about a page and a half of different dining options. Bravo, Kim!!! Great job, Mila!!!! I can't wait to see you and the team again.

Visited here last year for our anniversary and said we would bring the kids back this year—so we did…and it was just as good as before! The little touches at this hotel are what make it great—the Nespresso coffee makers, the chips and drinks in the room, the postcards you can write and mail, the robes, and more. We were upgraded to a lake view which was great, despite the rainy weather. Any my sons loved the pool area more than anything. I think we are going to make this a yearly thing. The location is a great base to explore the area. This year we did a ropes course nearby. We are an outdoorsy family and can’t wait to come back and check out more!

For under $100, my stay included freshly made breakfast and fast internet. I also liked: (1) Heater/AC unit works very fast, and super quiet whether it's low or high fan level: noise level feels like about 30-40dB. (2) There were many bright lamps (800 lumens), 4 USB outlets (2 at bedside, 2 on the desk lamp), 3 wall outlets near the shoe tray, a height-adjustable chair and plenty of desk space for work. (3) Coffee machine, fridge, hair dryer and shower hot water work very fast and quietly (4) Mattress is firm and duvet is light and warm. (5) Blinds and curtains are easy to use and keep lights out (no gaps) at bedtime. (6) Bathtub and hallways are clean and well lit. (7) Breakfast served well by staff. (8) Front hall hot water and coffee machines (regular and decaf) are well stocked. (9) Early check-in and late check-out available. (10) Location is easy to find and parking was easy and close to by. (11) Check-in and check-out process was safe and fast. (12) Front desk, kitchen and cleaning staff are all welcoming. Some items on my wish list: (1) The fridge is too small -- can't put in a 1L bottle water or medium pizza box. (2) The pillows are too soft. Memory foam ones would support my neck better. (3) The lamps use cool daylight colour light bulbs which are really hard on my eyes when I work. I'm used to bright and warm white light bulbs. (4) There is no elevator -- I didn't have luggage carts but my computers + briefcase were heavy.

We picked this hotel because it was priced less than others on the other side of Toronto. The hotel is in perfect condition, has free parking, and the breakfast was outstanding...you will be stuffed! The pool is warm and very clean. The mattress was extremely comfortable. The climate control system was new, effective, and very quiet. It was just the typical, outstanding Hampton experience! One caveat: The traffic is terrible if you have to travel across the city. Plan ahead or consider the train; there is a station within walking distance.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. The location fit our needs as it was just north of the 401, in the midst of an industrial park, and across the street from the RCMP. The hotel was clean and spacious, and our room with a king bed was large and comfortable. On the flip side, the complimentary breakfast was a significant disappointment and well below IHG standards. The eggs were dry, there were no hard-boiled eggs, and no orange or cranberry juice available. We asked the breakfast person for more hard-boiled eggs and were told there were none in the kitchen. The milk was only in a small pitcher. As for customer service, we were greeted as IHG members, but it dropped off from there. Two front desk members could not help us with where to pick up the Go Train and how to get there because they said they didn't live in the area. We were headed to Toronto and thankfully figured out the process on our own.

PPengguna TetamuThis Hilton Homewood Suites hotel stay has been incredibly disappointing. The cleanliness is subpar, there's a persistent unpleasant odor, and the customer service is severely lacking. The pillows and sheets emit unpleasant smells, and the sofa bed is not only dirty and smelly, but also repulsive. The mattress on the sofa bed appears to be decades old, with springs protruding uncomfortably. Despite bringing up these issues to management three times, no action was taken to address them. On one occasion, a front desk staff member even claimed that all rooms are equally problematic, leaving me stuck enduring these conditions for nearly 8 days.

PPengguna TetamuWhen I booked this hotel, I read the ones after June 2023. And it did not disappointed us. This hotel is fantastic. I could not find anything negative about it. From the time we arrived, the staff was so friendly,helpful and efficient. The rooms are actually all suites with full size fridge,toaster,microwave, dishwasher, all the dishes, soap for dishes and dishwasher,etc. So clean, it looked like we could have been the first ones to stay in that room! The breakfast room is great, had everything that you could probably want for breakfast. Even a gluten free blueberry muffin that was delicious. I used the pool, the only one in it at the time, and again, a nice area. We didn't go outside, but looks like a really nice area with a patio, tables, etc. The Bronte Go train is 3 minutes away. So handy. We took the Go train for a hockey game in Toronto, so made this hotel a perfect location, right beside the 403. All of the staff were so friendly. All in all, we would return for sure.

PPengguna TetamuWe recently stayed there for 4 nights (Fri-Mon), and for the entirety of our stay, housekeeping did not clean our room one time! for the first 2 days (Sat and Sun) we had a knock on the door before 9AM. For a weekend, that seems to be rather early to attempt to start cleaning rooms. Either way, they never came back to clean our room later in the day. There were a few different times that I had to go to the front desk to reload on towels, and even had to get someone to reload the soap in the shower. Otherwise, the room was clean when we checked in, I was traveling with my wife and two small children, so it would have been easier if they had more space for working out of multiple suitcases, but oh well. The location was convenient enough for us, and the pool was good enough for our kids and never got crowded, but the lack of attending to our room, really caught me off-guard. I was just not expecting that and thought they would be more persistent correcting that, especially if I'm coming to the front desk multiple times in one stay to pick up towels. I would at least think they would wonder what was going on that I just kept needing more towels.

PPengguna TetamuThey've hired quality people for the front desk who were all extremely helpful with any questions I had, day or night. Bathrooms are gorgeous, and the room and beds are good. Right next to some excellent shopping. Wendy's and Tim Horton's next door for late night food, though they have an excellent pantry for purchase. Pool is small but nice to have.

PPengguna TetamuOur group has a charity lacrosse tournament every year and it was Toronto's turn to host this year. Glad that this hotel is the closest to the TRAC. Conveniently located just off the QEW but no rooms face that busy highway. Rooms either face the atrium (indoor pool) or parking lot. Don't worry about ice machine or elevator noise because there is a thick door that separates the rooms from them. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are spacious. And unlike most hoteks there is daily housekeeping without requesting. The in house restaurant/bar has great food (breakfast buffet was especially good. I thought it was pricey but then remembered it was in CAD so the price was quite reasonable). If you want to go out for food many options some walking distance. All employees I interacted with are great and cheery. They even let our large group assemble in the back of the parking lot so we did not disturb other guests. If you need to charge up your Tesla no worries - there are many charging stations. Thank you for everything.

PPengguna TetamuEasy check in. Called to let them know I was checking in late and they very quickly found my reservation and made a note. When we arrived the process was very streamlined and we were settled in our room with our dog in minutes. My husband had and nice sandwich at the restaurant. I noticed we were close to the elevator and we could hear the sounds slightly but we were not bothered by it once we fell asleep. The walls are well insulated because our dog did not hear sounds enough to make his bark which makes it easier for us to travel with him. Great sleep in comfortable bed with nice pillows and sheets. Extra blanket was great. Lovely bathroom and storage for clothes. Beautiful towels and supplies in bathroom. Nice sized sparkling bath tub. Comfy chair to relax in. Overall great place.

PPengguna TetamuThe Good: WiFi and hot water worked well. Bathroom functional although shower leaks onto the floor. Bonus that there was a handicap grab bar. Quieter than one might expect even on the highway side. Adequate number of electrical outlets. Nice bed linens and towels. No insects. The Bad: Bed and couch both well past retirement stage, very saggy and quite uncomfortable. Kitchen not stocked with the items it was supposed to have. A request for the saucepans and frypan that were supposed to be supplied with the room took many tries and several days to arrive. Due to the problems getting the pots, we went out and purchased the other needed items. Little control of room temperature, always cold. One TV worked, the other didn’t possibly due to the remote. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, and only a small opening at one window meant it stayed damp in the unit. Black deposits on the ceiling near the air outlets. Mold? Key cards needed frequent replacement. The Nasty: Very dirty carpet. Based on the amount and variety of hair and glass on the carpet this unit hadn’t been vacuumed in quite a long time. Cigarette smell and visible ash on the carpet, in a room advertised as non smoking. Overall not up to standards, IHG hope you do some secret shopping.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaThe hotel is so nice and clean and their service is so good.We booked jacuzi room and this is the best stay ever.We enjoyed a lot and jacuzi is the best part in this room.The tub is nice and clean and the water temperature is also good and perfect. We love to go their again.
