Hotel OaxaCalli

It was clean. Older with sinks that sometimes gave hot water, sometimes not. Showers always have hot. Rooms dark. If you don’t speak Spanish you may have trouble communicating with the staff. Staff all friendly, willing to help & accommodating. Central location. Good pricing.

Hotel was close to the Zocalo, and lot of places for dinner around.

The location is amazing, most hot spots are within walking distance. The hotel and rooms are modest but clean and in good condition.

Trying to book a company trip for Dia de los Muertos and need several rooms. This hotel needs to do better to put patrons at ease. Was not able to book online, possibly due to the dates but when we finally got someone on the phone they kept changing the required deposits. After several messages and calls back and forth we were finally told we could use a credit to secure the reservation but at a higher rate which we assumed was to cover their credit card fees, totally understandable. But then all of a sudden they told us they wanted bank transfer ONLY and the funds are to be deposited to a different account than what is listed on their website. What made it even more sketchy is they told us upfront they would not be giving us a confirmation of our reservation. They keep changing the rules, are not clearly communicating or sending me an email with a total quote from company email and only willing to communicate via Whats APP. Something doesn't feel right about this.

Totally couldn’t use wifi in the room

THe hotel is simple and basic, but the location is incredible. You are in the middle of everything. Is totally worth it.

Very convenient location with parking in front.

The design property is nice but needs a lot repairs everything is dusty and very noise windows doesn't close properly.

An “okay” property: not fancy but clean; water seemed to be turned off (at least inside my room), during nighttime, but, was back on in the morning. Felt safe, mostly quiet. Reasonable value for the price.
