Finca Hotel Son Palou

We stayed in the Villa , about half a mile from the main hotel building , for five nights. We walked to breakfast each day through the Olive Groves and tended to drive in the evening to the hotel . We chose the villa because it had privacy and its own pool yet easy access to the dining facilities n the hotel . The staff were all excellent, the food was great although after four nights we were starting to find the menu choice a little light , and the location was a haven of tranquiity . We left the hotel twice , once to do a supermarket shop and once to go down to Port De Soller for Dinner . We wouldnt stay here without a car and you need a good driving head as the mountain roads are a challenge . Strong cycling area so be prepared to be patient on the roads ! We will be returning .

Excellent oasis in the middle of the mountains. It you are looking for true escapism, then look no further than staying at the Finca Hotel Son Palou. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We stayed in the Villa which was a magical place full of charm. Waking up to the most incredible views of the mountains, nothing to disturb you apart from the abundance of wonderful wildlife. The Villa itself is spacious, well equipped with everything you need. Open the doors wide to a charming terrace and watch the world go by. Highly recommend if you're visiting this part of Mallorca.

This was our return visit to this lovely Finca and it was just as good. The situation is stunning and the views breathtaking. The staff are welcoming and the room was very comfortable. Tucked away in a small village but easy to get to everywhere in Majorca the hotel is vey relaxing and peaceful. Breakfast is great and also the restaurant. Lovely infinity pool. Go there! We are going again.

Best place to relax and just do whatever you want. Then eat great vegan food, the chef is amazing. Not your boring - we don't care -" here's some food without animal products" that we got in most places in Spain. This chef and the owner care about your happiness! The chef has designed an innovative menu - we were not bored and the food was the best in Spain. The chef has a vegan ceviche on the menu that we ate every night, so delicious! I mentioned avocado might be good at breakfast to the owner when he asked - it was there the next morning. Nothing within reason is too much for them. The suite was clean and well thought out. The pool is beautiful but too cool for me in April, but my husband enjoyed several days of invigorating swims. They are not allowed solar panels, unfortunately. The owner works hard to make his family owned business among the BEST you will find in Spain. He prides himself with his property, a great staff and your happiness, this is a great combination, many times lost, but not here!! They make their own olive oil and I think it is well worth bringing a bottle or two home. they air wrap it for you, don't forget. Remember Orient is a mountain town, LOTS of bicycles and sheep - all could be on the roads, that are narrow and you just need to be careful as always on the roads. But, Orient is wonderful and the best part of our trip.

We loved our stay at Finca Hotel Son Palou. The staff, the incredible views from the property, the pool, the breakfast and restaurant. Everything was perfect. We can't wait to go back. We are a family of 5 that has been living in Europe and travelling around for over a year so we have seen a lot of hotels and accommodation in this time. Finca Hotel Son Palou is definitely one of our favourite stays on the whole trip.

You won’t regret staying at Finca Son Palau! Very friendly and service minded staff, excellent(!!) food and beautiful, scenic views. Would love to return again some time again and perhaps explore some of the hiking routes as well.

We stayed in this hotel in October. Very nice hotel located beautifully in the mountains. Great restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner and very nice personal working there. Quiet area. Nice walks around olive trees. Access to a car is necessary.

We had a fabulous couple of days at Finca Hotel Son Palou. We loved the hotel and the location is fantastic as a place to unwind. Everything about the place was excellent and we would certainly like to return at some point in the not too distant future. We also loved Orient - it's a tiny place but, if you want character and the peace and quiet of the Mallorca countryside then it's really quite lovely.

We had the most lovely stay at Finca Hotel Son Palou! My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying for 3 nights to end our travels in Spain. We thoroughly enjoyed this peaceful retreat tucked in the mountains, and felt very restored and refreshed after our stay here. We loved taking a dip in the pool, and exploring the grounds / trails on property. The staff was lovely and very helpful, always checking in on us to make sure we were taken care of. Our room was spacious, and included everything you need (robes, slippers, etc). Also, we must note that we had one of the BEST meals at the hotel - we were super impressed as we dined at some incredible restaurants during our trip throughout Spain. Highly recommend, we can't wait to come back!
