Edgewater Dive and Spa Resort has secured a spot in the top 5 of our travel list due to its exceptional location, accommodation, and staff. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were greeted with warmth and received outstanding care. The owners, Richard and Vika, are present almost daily and display a genuine interest in their guests' well-being. Richard, being a passionate diver, provided us with valuable advice on dive spots and answered all our related questions. Thanks to him, we had incredible dives. Billy and Jun, the dive masters, took excellent care of us and introduced us to a variety of dive locations. The resort's convenient proximity to everything made our stay even more enjoyable. Speaking of accommodation, what you see is exactly what you get at Edgewater Dive and Spa Resort. We were delighted to find two spacious and clean rooms equipped with air conditioning and fans. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. Additionally, we indulged in the outdoor spa, which added to our overall relaxation. We cannot praise the hotel and restaurant staff enough. Jeff and his team made sure we never went hungry. The food was not only delicious but also served with a warm and friendly attitude. Our child especially loved the attention he received. In terms of managing expectations, it's important to note that the resort does not have a beach right on its premises. However, this was not an issue for us as they have a lovely little pool, and with only 12 rooms, it never felt crowded. It's worth mentioning that food preparation may take some time, so it's advisable to place your order ahead of time if you're in a hurry. The resort's slightly secluded location was something we appreciated, as it provided a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Despite this, the hotel staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as effortless and convenient as possible. They are more than willing to assist with booking boats for beach tours, arranging tuktuks, or any other transportation needs. We enjoyed our stay at Edgewater Dive and Spa Resort so much that we have already made plans for our next visit. Great service . They are always friendly and helpful. Food is best I had in years if I compare another hotels . And bug bonus is that the kit hen also make food on demand . So if not on menu they do on request and it is worth to pay some extra money. Only downside is that trip.xom do not mention that beside the 30 peso terminal fee . And then on tge another side you need to pay 120 peso tourist tax . And as last 300 peso each person to go to the hotel. But for sure I will go back there

The outdoor pool, surroundings, garden, and amenities are fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the themed architecture, landscape, and even the common bathrooms within the castle. The availability of free amenities like the billiards, table tennis, and a gym added to the overall experience. The Wifi is also okay. However, if you have a car, be aware that parking is quite limited and occasionally locked due to its location in front of a house with a narrow gate. Clear instructions about parking are necessary, as maneuvering on the small road can be challenging. It took them a while to provide clear instructions for the parking. There's room for improvement in cleanliness, especially with bedsheets that had a lingering smell, possibly indicating insufficient drying. Additionally, the water kettle and cups seemed like they hadn't been washed thoroughly. Overall, my family enjoyed their stay there and with more improvements and the staff being more responsive before and during the stay would even make this place even better.

This is a very cute place to stay! The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the stay overall was enjoyable. The room was generally clean, with some details overlooked (like previous guest's receipt on the floor and a few other papers around the room, one of the towels was a bit dirty). The hotel only provides a toothbrush and a toothpaste (and shampoo and shower gel in the shower), but I found the lack of a bar of soap disappointing. The location is great, the hotel is right at the beach, and easily accessible. The hotel cafe is adorable, serves good food, and the staff is friendly and polite. As for the provided breakfast, I could choose from the breakfast menu at the cafe, and coffee was served directly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this adorable hotel to anyone visiting, it's charming and worth staying in!

Чудесное место для остановки. У нас было уютное, просторное бунгало с небольшой терассой. Не хватало только холодильника, но это никак не повлияло на общее впечатление. Мы приехали около 2х часов ночи, нас дождались и заселили, несмотря на то, что заселение до 22.30. Ухоженная, территория, потрясающий сад растений. В отеле есть спа, неплохой массаж. Удобное месторасположение - чуть в стороне от суеты, есть свой пляж. Рядом отели без пляжа с мощёной набережной. Дайвинг брали в другом месте, так как в отеле все было забронировано. У нас был но ер без завтраков. Его можно взять и оплатить на месте. Мы завтракали в разных местах, все в пешей 5-ти минутной доступности. В поисках ужина обошли несколько мест, в итоге оказалось, что в этом отеле самая вкусная еда. Повару отдельное спасибо!

More space than a single resort room which is GREAT for slower travel nomads like me who want a real space to relax inside the room. Having the living room and separate bedroom, each with it’s own A/C and fans, was comfortable.
