This hostel is fantastic! So glad I ended up here for a few nights in Osaka as this was a great choice. Especially enjoyed talking to the staff Rina, Ayano and Hiro who were all so welcoming. The rooms were very colourful and though were basic it had everything you needed for a good stay. Good comfortable bed with individual privacy curtain and light, large locker for luggage, shared bathroom with shower and towels available. It also had a nice cafe/social area downstairs. You could also do your laundry here at a very reasonable cheap price which was very useful. The location of this hostel is in a great location surrounded by many things to do and also very close to train stations. Other travelers I met at this hostel were all friendly which is the kind of people this hostel attracts. When I go back to Osaka I may make it a point just to visit the cafe or stay here a night as its such a pleasant environment thanks to the staff!

the Pax was delightful! Me and two friends stayed there for 4 night 5 days, the longest we stayed anywhere and I'm so glad it ended up being the Pax. It's beautiful and funky, the rooms were incredibly quiet, the beds were spacious and comfortable. There was only one shower per floor but I never had to wait despite it being a full house (not sure if I just lucked out or if that's usually the case). The staff were super friendly and helpful, and we really pestered them with questions so that's saying something. If I'm ever back in Japan I'll make it a point to come back, I really loved it. Also, the AC was a God send because they were having a late summer and it was hot as heck everywhere, but our room was mercifully cool.
