"A fairly good place to stay even for several days. Amazing and delicious breakfast (till 2 p.m.! great for time zone-changers), all dishes are totally worth trying. Pretty small but perfectly equipped rooms (we had high floor with a bath), view could be more picturesque but was already nice enough. Restaurant on 2nd floor was OK. Admire the staff, they’re super friendly and helpful."

"This was my second time staying at an APA Hotel, and although it's new, it was very clean and comfortable. The room was very small, but it was functionally designed so I didn't feel inconvenienced. It was also nice that there was a large public bath and a convenience store on-site. I ended up extending my stay at short notice, so I asked the staff to compile the records for two different room types, and they were very accommodating."

The hotel is very close to Namba Parks, Namba Station (for the subway), and Nankai Namba Station for the train to Kansai Airport, which is super convenient. There's a Lawson convenience store right next to the hotel on the second floor, which I visited every night. It was fantastic to have nearby! I'd definitely stay here again next time."

"I had a wonderful stay at MIMARU Namba, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling with family or a group. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to Namba Station, Dotonbori, Tsutenkaku and plenty of shops and restaurants. Super convenient! Our room was spacious and very well-designed. Compared to typical hotel rooms in Japan, the size and layout here made a huge difference, especially when traveling with kids. The small kitchen, dining space, and washing machine were incredibly helpful and made our stay feel comfortable. Overall, MIMARU Namba is a perfect choice for families — great location, spacious rooms, thoughtful amenities, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Located just across the street from Shinsaibashi, shopping felt as effortless as stepping downstairs for a casual walk. The room was so new and pristine, it could practically reflect any minor imperfection. High-end skincare products like Sekkisei and face masks were stocked even better than at my own home. The coffee machine on the ground floor was invitingly puffing out hot steam. The front desk staff offered a textbook-perfect smile, but their mind seemed miles away – I asked a tall staff member to put my food in the fridge, only to find it later frozen solid into a block of ice. That was quite a blunder, to say the least. Only the young staff member from Taiwan, though quiet, consistently delivered service that truly resonated with me, like a comforting warm onigiri from a convenience store – perfectly soothing. Four and a half stars overall, with the deduction solely due to the fridge mishap."

"The location is absolutely superb, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Right downstairs, you'll find a 7-Eleven and a Daikoku Drugstore. The room was spotless and well-soundproofed. Nakanoshima Museum of Art and Kosetsu Museum of Art are practically on your doorstep. Major department stores in Umeda are just a 10-minute walk away. Osaka Station, the Yotsubashi and Midosuji subway lines, and Yodoyabashi Station (Keihan Electric Railway terminus) are all within easy walking distance. Overall, the convenience is simply unbeatable."

"There's really no downside except for the small size, but everything else was so perfect that the size became negligible. I had a very comfortable stay and even took a bath. The room was spotless, though I hope they can pay a bit more attention to detailed cleaning. On the first day, there was a strange transparent stain on the chair, and I had to wipe it before I dared to sit down. However, the bed, windows, bathroom, and table were all very clean. The TV was super new with tons of channels, and you could even watch YouTube, which was very helpful. The front desk service was also great; they came to help when I couldn't figure out the self check-in on the first day. Now for my personal experience: I found the bed a bit too soft. If you're not used to sleeping on soft beds or have back issues, you might want to consider this. It's very close to FamilyMart, making it super convenient for buying food. However, it's a bit of an awkward distance from both Kitahama and Yodoyabashi stations – not too close, not too far, which was a bit annoying. The walk to and from the hotel every day felt a bit long. Finally, I highly recommend the food! First, try the chicken cutlet and marinated eggs from FamilyMart; the chicken is juicy and the eggs are very fragrant. Then there's Dorosoba, a bit further than FamilyMart. The old man who runs it is very nice and will use a little Chinese to tell you what's good and what's less popular. If you're worried about communication, just go in, find the ramen machine, switch it to Chinese, and pay with cash. But the grandpa is really cute; when he serves the food, he'll say, ”Very, very, very delicious rich ramen!” And it really is delicious! I actually ate there twice in two days, both times ordering the chicken broth ramen."

"Nice place to stay. Location is very convenient. There is a good supermarket next door. Rooms are clean. Furniture is a bit old and used, but that's ok. The bed is extremely comfortable. I think this is one of the best beds that I've slept on in hotels. The place is huge and many people stay in the hotel, so maybe number of amenities like laundry machines is not enough for such a big hotel."
