Mercure Tokyu Stay Osaka Namba

Very excellent service hotel, love the kocation, and the hotel room so comfortable just thr room light kind of dark. But love the hotel very much, will come back again！

Room is abit dark. Good with washing machine and dryer. Location is great, family Mart and 7-11 nearby. Walking distance to metro station. Shopping mall just nearby with many food and stalls.

It’s a really dark hotel but modern even has a small gym without weights and a pool table I personally enjoyed staying here the staff are friendly too

-Such a horrible hotel experience ! House keeping staff kept my room door open after cleaning.When I returned to hotel after lunch ,I found it & complained at reception in person.The front desk staff just said Sorry to me.I wondered that how the hotel secure customers” safety & belongings ? -The cups were very dirty . -House keeping staff didn”t refill tissue papers after cleaning.

The most I like about this hotel is location. It’s located very close to Dontomburi & high-street shopping area. By the way, the design of the whole floor and even the room quite dark & dim. You will see the dusk on furniture very easily. It was more about design to be chic hotel I would say but if you travel with elderly it was too dark and not so properly. We also found a piece of tissue in the room. On the first day that we have breakfast we went down before breakfast section close 30 minutes, and they informed us already which is understandable, and we absolutely respect the time. While we mostly finish our breakfast, the most senior staff came to our table with not so nice gesture to rush us to finish. He told is “5 minutes” but he told the table of 3 ladies next to us “10 minutes” and giggling. That’s already ruin my morning mood. For me this very rude and unacceptable as I am also working in luxury & lifestyle hospitality industry as well. I select Mercure in Osaka because of the brand. This is my first time with Accor property in Japan, and it makes me very doubt in their service quality. However, other staff I met at the collider and front office very pleasant and helpful, especially Mr.Kim who help us on check in. Overall experience for me is OK, but I expected to see well-trained staff when they approach the customer. This kind of things will make the service another level. Comparing to Kyoto hotel I stay few nights their in a local brand but the service was very warm welcome and homies.

Great walking location to Dotonburi Family mart just opposite hotel which is very convenient Hotel is modern and nicely decorated Rooms were clean but wished it could be more brightly lit for packing of bags and navigating in room Bottled water provided in room Full house-housekeeping service everyday upon request

This is the best hotel we stayed in Japan so far. We spent there 2 nights and everything was great. The style of the hotel is cool , the rooms are quite spacious, the bed is comfortable. The breakfast has a big selection of food, lots of healthy options as well. The location is amazing, next to Family Mart and restaurants. 5 mins walk to the main shopping street. We absolutely enjoyed our stay , will always choose this hotel chain in the future. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere was cozy enough for a family to stay. Lighting was a but too dark to find ur stuff. But room size was decent for the location. Shower was great with separated toilet room. Staffs spoke enough English to get you things but we feel the service were a little under par. Amenities could be improve like extra pillows were short in supply. Breakfast area was small and crowded but the food were enough.
