"The hotel's location is excellent. My family had a lot of luggage, so I deliberately chose a hotel near a limousine bus stop. Beyond just the airport limousine, it proved to be incredibly convenient for amenities and subway access.
The facilities were quite satisfactory, and having a public bath was ideal for relaxing and recovering from travel fatigue each day.
However, by Japanese standards, the staff service was generally unhelpful, and their efficiency in handling requests left much to be desired. Furthermore, housekeeping frequently missed restocking various essential amenities during cleaning.
Overall, I was satisfied due to the location and facilities, but as hotels are fundamentally a service industry, I believe the service quality could definitely use some improvement."

"We stayed here on a family trip, and the location was great, there was parking, the staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of options.
The only disappointment was that it was a hot season, so maybe it was because we went in late, but the temperature in the large public bath was too hot, so even though we were looking forward to it, we could only stay in for a short time. 💦.
Other than that, it was a great trip, so thank you very much. I would love to stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Centara Grand Osaka. It’s great value for money, especially for families. Even the standard room was impressively large with a thoughtful layout and spacious entryway—perfect for maneuvering luggage, a stroller, and keeping shoes organized. The bed was big and very comfortable, and we appreciated the provided toiletries and pyjamas for kids.
The hotel is conveniently located near Namba Station and Namba Parks, with plenty of eateries and shops within walking distance. The staff were mostly international and spoke English well, which made communication smooth and easy. Breakfast had a refreshing Thai-inspired twist, a welcome change from the Japanese meals we enjoyed throughout the day.
Highly recommended for families visiting Osaka!"

Location was good. Few streets from dotonburi and shinsaibashi suji that we unfortunately only realized on the last day. Elevator access from nagahoribashi station was 1-2mins away from hotel entrance. Very convenient for lugging luggage around. Thought toothbrush wasn’t provided but it was, counter staff offers a selection of complementary amenities.
Happy with room layout partitioning sleeping and kitchen area, and plenty of kitchen counter top space for making milk and washing bottles. Coin laundry available at lvl1. No complaints happy with stay and will go back again!"

"We stayed at Mimaru Osaka Namba Station for 5 nights with our family of 6, including young children and a senior. The hotel was perfect—clean, spacious, and very family-friendly.
The location is excellent, just a short walk to Dotonbori and Kuromon Market, and close to Namba Station, making it easy to explore Osaka and visit places like Universal Studios Japan.
Our room had a kitchen, dining area, and bunk beds which the kids really enjoyed. The laundry facilities were also very helpful. Staff were friendly and made our stay comfortable.
Highly recommended for families looking for space, convenience, and comfort in Osaka."

"Located just across the street from Shinsaibashi, shopping felt as effortless as stepping downstairs for a casual walk. The room was so new and pristine, it could practically reflect any minor imperfection. High-end skincare products like Sekkisei and face masks were stocked even better than at my own home. The coffee machine on the ground floor was invitingly puffing out hot steam.
The front desk staff offered a textbook-perfect smile, but their mind seemed miles away – I asked a tall staff member to put my food in the fridge, only to find it later frozen solid into a block of ice. That was quite a blunder, to say the least.
Only the young staff member from Taiwan, though quiet, consistently delivered service that truly resonated with me, like a comforting warm onigiri from a convenience store – perfectly soothing.
Four and a half stars overall, with the deduction solely due to the fridge mishap."

"The location is absolutely superb, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Right downstairs, you'll find a 7-Eleven and a Daikoku Drugstore. The room was spotless and well-soundproofed. Nakanoshima Museum of Art and Kosetsu Museum of Art are practically on your doorstep. Major department stores in Umeda are just a 10-minute walk away. Osaka Station, the Yotsubashi and Midosuji subway lines, and Yodoyabashi Station (Keihan Electric Railway terminus) are all within easy walking distance. Overall, the convenience is simply unbeatable."

"**Facilities:** The facilities are brand new, and though the room is compact, it's incredibly well-equipped, even featuring a mini-fridge. This was perfect for chilling water bought from the supermarket, proving to be a real lifesaver to cool down after a long day of exploring.
**Cleanliness:** The room was spotless. Despite its small size, there were absolutely no issues with cleanliness or clutter.
**Environment:** This is a straightforward, functional hotel. If you don't mind the compact space, it's actually very comfortable. After a long day of walking, coming back, taking a shower, and then relaxing with a beer while watching TV was pure bliss. When I was tired, I could just collapse into bed. I absolutely loved it.

GGuest UserMy wife and I stayed in the King Premium room for 2 nights in April 2025.
We loved the location of the hotel. It is 5 mins walk from Osaka station and surrounded by many shopping malls so you will never go hungry or run out of things to buy. It is also very convenient to make day trips since Osaka station connects to nearby cities like Nara, Kobe, Kyoto and Himeji.
We also loved the size of the room (40m^2) and the toilet. There was more than enough space to fully open 2 luggage bags. There were also 2 separate sofas which you could sit in.
The only thing we thought could have been improved on was the reception as no one offered to bring our luggage bags up to our room.
Great room and location, service could’ve been improved.

SSmileyMomoThe hotel is located directly above an Aeon supermarket, which is incredibly convenient for breakfast, late-night snacks, and general groceries. The Yotsubashi subway station entrance is right next to the supermarket, and Shinsaibashi Station is only about a 10-minute walk away.
They have coin-operated laundry machines, but there are only four, so you often have to queue up to use them in the evenings.
I especially loved the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. The toilet and shower/bath area are separated by a door, which made things much more efficient. What’s more, outside the bathtub, there’s a shower and a small stool, so if you’re not taking a bath, you can simply shower outside the tub.
I have to mention the bathroom’s drainage system – it’s superb! The water drains incredibly fast, which made showering a much more pleasant experience. The room was also spotlessly clean.
This hotel is perfect for independent travelers. The staff were incredibly polite, thank you.

Xxm****A big thank you to Hashinaka-san for her assistance when I called the hotel to inquire about room types. Her friendliness was a major factor in my decision to book this hotel. Subsequently, the front desk staff were very proactive and helpful in coordinating our room arrangements, allowing us to stay for four consecutive nights without needing to change rooms. Everyone was very friendly.
The hotel's main advantages are its excellent location and the fact that it accommodates two adults and one child in a single room. However, be prepared for the compact room size and smaller beds. I suggest bringing your own air mattress for the child to ensure everyone gets a comfortable night's sleep.
If you haven't booked the hotel breakfast, you can find options at Drip Cafe, which is directly accessible from the lobby.
Opposite the hotel is Grand Front Osaka. If you cross through the complex and then another street, you'll find the largest Patagonia store. While it's not tax-free, it's very well-stocked and even has a children's section.

The location is fantastic—right across from the park, making it incredibly convenient. The surrounding area features a mall with a variety of dining options and vibrant nightlife, so you won't get lost.
While the hotel has an older, classic design, it’s clean and offers spacious rooms for a reasonable price. I highly recommend it for families planning to visit USJ, as it saves you the hassle of long commutes after a tiring day at the theme park.
The staff is friendly, though I didn’t have much interaction with them. The breakfast buffet is tasty with a good selection, but there are plenty of dining options nearby, including Tully's Cafe and McDonald's, so consider saving money by eating out instead. Overall, a solid choice for families, especially given the fair pricing for a comfortable stay!

The hotel offer free beer at selected times for guests too. The cons is they are very strict for late check out requests. Overall is still good and will be bck again.

The room was spotlessly clean, and Sexually transmitted infection: and well-equipped with modern facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location is highly convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport. The staff were courteous and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my visit. My only complaint is that the milk vending machine was frequently out of stock, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, the hotel offers a pleasant and reliable experience, making it a great choice for travelers. I would definitely consider returning for future stays.

A crucial heads-up: this hotel has a strict maximum occupancy policy. For instance, a triple room can only accommodate three people. It seems children over 8 years old are charged an extra bed fee. It's advisable to call and confirm the details beforehand. My friend's 12-year-old child was either charged extra or had to book an additional room.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Tenkachaya Station. There are many convenience stores nearby, as well as McDonald's, Muji, and Fujiya cake shops. Tenkachaya Station provides convenient access to both the Osaka Metro and Nankai Line, offering a direct route from Kansai Airport without any transfers. Additionally, there's Izumiya Supermarket, perfect for picking up local specialties. I even walked to Tennoji from here! The place is also incredibly clean and well-equipped. It offers exceptional value for money. I truly hope they maintain this level of cleanliness and hygiene; I'll definitely be back!

Cons / Experience: Before arriving in Osaka, I emailed Holiday Inn to inform them that due to personal reasons can see ghost, I could not stay in rooms located directly next to the lift or at the very end of the corridor. However, on the first day, the hotel still assigned me a room right next to the lift. Although the room appeared clean, it was very dusty, had bugs, and the room remained shining throughout the night, which made it difficult for me to sleep. The insects bug on bed also caused skin irritation.
Fortunately, the young male receptionist was very polite and attentive, and he helped me change to another room. Unfortunately, the new room still had bugs on the bed and was also dusty.
This hotel may be more suitable for men who enjoy nightlife, as there are pubs nearby, some with women dressed in revealing outfits to attract customers. On the other hand, the older male receptionist seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming, often showing a “black face.”
