Hotel terbaik di Oslo

The room is very small, not enough space to open 2 luggages. No kettle in the room and the heater is not working. Generally the room is not very clean.

We chose this hotel mainly because of the cheap price and free parking. The stay turned out to be a very positive surprise though. The room was nice, quiet and clean and the breakfast was good too. All in all a great experience taking into consideration what we paid for the room. Don’t expect any luxury though. Very convenient that there is a tram stop right next to the hotel and the tram takes you downtown in 15 minutes.

The hotel is located at the Western end of the Karl Johnson street /belt, about 8 to 10 minutes from the Olso central train station. It is nearer to the Royal Palace and the Akershus Festning (fortress) and further away from the Oslo Opera house. The restaurant only open for breakfast and do not serve dinner. Still, there are many restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Check-in is efficient as with all Norway hotels. The breakfast is excellent, although the selections remain the same. Overall, it is a good hotel to stay in Oslo.

We stayed a single night last November and left very early next morning to catch a flight to Trømso. We booked our room directly through their website. For some reason, when booking, the language was set to Norwegian and could not be changed. It made the reservation process a little choppy. The pictures on their website aren’t contractual, as our room looked nothing like what was shown on their booking site. The room was tiny despite having booked a standard queen. In fact, it was so small that the bed was wedged against the window and the curtain touched the bed. The bathroom was a very decent size compared to the rest of the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We let them know that we were leaving too early to have breakfast the next morning. They kindly put together breakfast boxes for us. Very thoughtful. It was good enough value for money for Oslo. Well located in the city centre with loads of bars and restaurants to choose from.

Amazing accommodations in Central Oslo, walking distance from all attractions, restaurants, venues and bars. The apartment itself is pristine and very up to date with technology. Had the best sleep, great amenities including laundry and luggage storage after check out. Will definitely book again.

Delicious meal. Comfortable beds although the room becames too small if you need an additional bed. Very small bathroom, specially for tall people.

We stayed at the Frogner House Apartments after doing the Norway in a Nutshell route from Bergen to Oslo. One thing to consider, if you are doing that route, is that the luggage porter services that will collect your baggage in Bergen and deliver it to Oslo need to have a place to deliver it with a reception. Frogner House is not staffed with a reception area. We had not known of that, so when we arranged to have a porter service take our bags, they had to leave them at an office that services the apartments. That office closes at 11 pm, and by the time we got into Oslo on the train, it was almost 11 and while we just made it, it was stressful. Then we had to drag our suitcases a few blocks to the apartments. I was very disappointed with the room we had at Frogner House. There are a couple of pros: it is in a very good location, close to the Vigeland Sculpture Park, and with many nice places to eat nearby; there are nice convenient hooks by the door; there is a large window that opens fairly wide; the finishes are nice; it's modern; the beds are comfortable; the linens were fine including the towels; the bathroom was actually fine except that it has terrible lighting over the sink and it could have used a fan in it because it gets super humid in there when you take a shower. The cons; the room did not look even slightly like the ”brochure picture” that was on my booking from ***********; I thought it was large enough to contain a small couch and that it was going to have an open kitchen area. It actually has an armoire that opens up with a sink and it has has pots and pans, cutlery, and glasses all tucked into this closet. It's a clever arrangement but the room is way too small to even attempt to cook in such a space. There was one small round table and two chairs, but you could only use one chair because the other one needed to have a suitcase on it. I didn't even have a place for my suitcase, I simply stored it upright on the floor and then I had to drag it onto the bed every time I wanted to access it. When we arrived we were tired, it was very late and the room was stuffy and hot. One thing that I didn't know prior to making bookings in Norway was that air conditioning is not the norm. Without air conditioning rooms can be quite stifling in summer, especially on the upper floors. If you want to leave the window open at night, that creates its own issue, as then you can't close the drapes against the long summer light. You can see from the photos that the room as pictured looked quite spacious. The reality was very different. One of the reasons I booked the apartment was the advertised laundry facilities on each floor. While there was a washer and dryer on our floor, the dryer did not work, and when I called the person you are supposed to contact about problems, she said that that was the only washer/dryer in the building. After doing some looking, I did find another washer/dryer on a different floor.

From one side Royal Palace, from other - water. Around the corner - Ibsen museum. Almost all the must visit places in a walking distance. Kitchen well equipped - oven, dishwasher, big refrigerator, electric stove top. Room had all the necessaries - table, sofa, bed, chairs. Mostly we sleep bad during our travels (new place and so) but this time - slept so well! We really enjoyed our stay. 10/10 from us :)

Great location, clean, friendly staff and awesome breakfast! Room is spacious too and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
