Hotel 2 Bintang di Oslo

Came here recently while staying in Oslo. It's a little away from the city centre, but only a short walk. The staff are really friendly and welcoming; the room was a decent size and comfortable. Facilities are basic but work well. There's a list of vegetarian restaurants in the city; a relaxation room with books; and you get a discount at the nearby cafes which is handy. Only negative thing to note was that the bathroom was effectively a wet room with a shower inside. Overall, we had a good experience, and it's good value for the stay!

The Hostel / Hotel is a short Tram / Train ride from Central Oslo. Metro Train is a 10 min walk with a 15 min journey costing £7 for 2, one way. Room was warm, clean and a great en suite with underfloor heating. 2 x single beds that we pushed together. You need to make up your own bed then ***** it and place sheets and towels in a bag outside. Breakfast was very basic in the large dining area in the main building. Basic ingredients in all aspects other than fresh juice. Filled a gap and set us up for the morning. Good budget option as all other hotels closer to Centre were way more expensive.

I had a fantastic experience at Bunks at Rode during my stay in Oslo. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a modern yet cozy design that makes you feel right at home. The hostel is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out, offering both comfort and convenience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with great recommendations for exploring the city. The location is perfect close to public transport and within walking distance of some great local spots. The common areas are a great place to meet fellow travelers, and the vibe is social but not too noisy, allowing for a good night’s sleep. The beds are comfortable, and the overall facilities are top-notch I’d highly recommend Bunks at Rode to anyone visiting Oslo, whether you're a solo traveler or with friends. It’s a great value for the experience you get! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip. .

Excellent location for direct airport transfers by express train as well as commuting around Oslo. Walking distance to POI as well as shopping belt. The hotel is only 5 mins walk from central station yet not affected by the bustle of the station. Self Check in was so super easy. We had a room on a high floor with terrace which had a vantage view of the central station. Room is clean & good size although the mattresses could be firmer. All things considered, a very good 3 night stay. Will definitely recommend!

The room was spacious and the location was convenient! The view from the 6th floor was pleasurable as well. The room itself comes with bare minimum amenities and the plug outlet are situated in peculiar areas of the room but at least the shower pressure was nice and hot. If you’re just looking for a room to lay your head down, look no further.

I really enjoyed my 2 nights stay in Oslo Citybox. It’s superbly conveniently located minutes from the train station. Plenty of food nearby and couple of minutes from the main shopping street including the luxury brands. There is a foosball table, table tennis table, darts for family fun, in addition to card games and chess. There’s a kitchen where kettle and microwave are available, in addition to vending machine for small snacks. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel right next to most attractions in the City, if you looking for a budget hotel in the city this is the one, we stayed in the small double room though the room is small but if you just using it to sleep and shower and then spend most of the day out its perfect. Big lobby downstairs for comfort and outdoor area too.

I had the pleasure of staying at Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget on the night of July 28th, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service provided by Mr. Ponters during his shift from 10pm to 2am. During my stay, I encountered a significant challenge as my luggage had been delayed for two days with no updates from the airline company. In this moment of distress, Mr. Ponters went above and beyond to assist us. Not only did he generously offer the hotel telephone for us to contact the airline company, but he also displayed genuine concern by consistently checking in on us to ensure we were coping well with the situation. Furthermore, Mr. Ponters did not stop there. Understanding our predicament, he took the initiative to recommend nearby stores where we could purchase essential items such as toothpaste and slippers. His thoughtful suggestions made our temporary inconvenience much more bearable. Mr. Ponters' kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to provide assistance in a time of need truly set him apart. His exceptional customer service skills and genuine empathy exemplify the epitome of hospitality. It is without a doubt that Mr. Ponters deserves to be commended for his outstanding performance. His dedication to ensuring the comfort and well-being of guests is truly commendable. In my opinion, his exceptional service merits recognition, and I strongly believe that he deserves a raise for his exemplary efforts.
