Hotel berhampiran Rainbow sculpture, Oslo

Hotel is good quality, good location, staff are nice. But the most important thing of this hotel is that they feed you a GOOD breakfast and dinner, with tea and cakes in the afternoon as well. This is important because food in Oslo is EXPENSIVE and difficult to find. You might look at the cost for a night, whatever it is, and think ”Ah, too high, I'll pick a cheaper place”. But eating in Oslo either means 7/11 hot dogs, or meals that will set you back 20-30 euro per person. For every person who stays at the hotel, you say up to 50 euros in the cost of feeding that person, unless you want to exist off of sandwiches and hot dogs. Consier that when buying. Breakfast was a traditional Norwegian meal with all types of good breads, jams, cheeses, fish, plus yoghurt, cereal, eggs, bacon, croissants, and more. Lots of it was quite uniquely Norwegian. Dinner had delicious meat, potato, soup, bread and veggies. Seemed fairly Norwegian. Warning, it was the same each night though. My friend and I found both very delicious, I could not imagine somebody complaining about either, unless they stayed for a full week, by which I could imagine getting tired of the food by the end. Eat well at these two meals, and all you'll need to spend money on food during the day is perhaps a sandwich. Norwegian food is ”meh”, you're not missing out on anything by not eating out. Other reviews can tell you about the hotel itself, it's a nice hotel, same as nice hotels anywhere, including many others in Oslo. But not having to worry about food was by far the biggest relief, and made this unique. Consider that when picking hotels, because picking a hotel thats 30 euro cheaper a night won't be worth it if they don't offer breakfast or dinner.

The location was perfect and convinient for staying because the hotel is located just downtown where you can easily reach most important places to visit. Room was clean and neat , service was very polite and helpful when I had questions to ask. The only thing I found was not so perfect was that small laps in the room close to the bed didn't work also like the one on the working desk. I was checking the socket and the plug and it seems they were broken. There was enough lights but I just prefer small lights better. All in all it was great staying in a hotel. The hotel is abt 12mins walk from the central station. The staff is nice and helpful. The twin bed room i stayed was clean and tidy. It costs 90nok for using the washing machine and dryer. Everything is good except for the wifi is slow and sometimes even need to reconnect.

It was a really excellent hostel. Clean. Has all facilities and in the perfect location. The only thing I can suggest hostel improvement is to ask guests what they plan on doing at the hostel as, I stayed in a 12 bed mixed dorm and only met 2 people my age who wanted to meet and become friends and hang out etc. The rest were boring 50+ and even one 72 year old who was living there and was a let down as they kept complaining that we were talking after 11pm. If the young ones and old ones, or the quiet ones and the meet friends and go out ones are seperated, this hostel could be 5**

Loved the spaciousness of the twin room. Bathroom floors felt heated so appreciated that. Fantastic location.

Excellent location for direct airport transfers by express train as well as commuting around Oslo. Walking distance to POI as well as shopping belt. The hotel is only 5 mins walk from central station yet not affected by the bustle of the station. Self Check in was so super easy. We had a room on a high floor with terrace which had a vantage view of the central station. Room is clean & good size although the mattresses could be firmer. All things considered, a very good 3 night stay. Will definitely recommend!

The location is so great! Very close to the train station the opera house, Münch, museum, and saunas. Love the whole vibe of the place. The breakfast in the morning was really great. I’d say the only downside is the sheets were a little scratchy.

Very good location to everywhere . 2 stops tram from main station. Walking to shopping street nearby. Clean hotel and the staff very friendly. Good breakfast also.

Bit outside of town but a 30 minute bus trip gets you near the front door. Super friendly staff. Quiet and close to nice trails.

Das Frühstück ist das Highlight in diesem Hotel, unglaublich gut und die Auswahl mehr als ausreichend. Die Zimmer könnten klimatisiert sein, das trifft wahrscheinlich in Norwegen eher nur auf wenige Wochen zu. Die Betten sind gut, die Zimmer ausreichen ausgestattet. Ich hätte mir eine Art Pantoffeln gewünscht, da ich Teppichboden nicht so gerne Barfuss in Hotels begehe. Vielleicht kann man da nachbessern.
