This would once have been a reasonably decent business hotel, but sadly cheese-paring of the operating costs has left this place a 2-star establishment operating in the shell of a 4-star building. The plus points - it's well-located, easy to find, parking is directly underneath, staff are friendly by German hospitality standards, and the restaurant terrace is pleasant in the summer sun. It's also clean and well-maintained on the surface. Now the negatives - while the ambience is still business-guys-in-suits, the room facilities are distinctly Ibis Budget-standard. There's no tea & coffee equipment, the fridges have been removed, the toiletries are dispensers refilled with the cheapest Costco gunk, and the towels are thin to the point of transparency with the all the absorbency of plastic sheeting. None of which would be an issues if this *was* an Ibis Budget, but it's not charging Ibis Budget prices. And while I'm on a roll, the food & drink prices in the bar are outrageous, there's no gym, and the in-room wifi doesn't work - the system isn't configured properly, so the connections fail with lots of errors being displayed. I know, I know - first world problems, go and buy a coffee in the bar, haven't you got a mobile phone etc etc, But this is all purely due to operational cost-cutting - the housekeeping budget has obviously been slashed to ribbons post-Corona, and skimping on the towels is saving on the cashflow. It's all got the feel of something run by private equity ghouls who are busy extracting every last cent of profit before it all goes bankrupt. Frankly on a price-comparison basis, you'd be better booking the Ibis Budget down the road. The experience will be exactly the same, and you'll walk away €40 a night better off.

Pada pendapat saya, perkhidmatan ini sangat baik, satu-satunya kelemahan mungkin ialah malangnya bilik kami tidak boleh didaftar masuk awal, walaupun saya telah menghubungi saya beberapa hari lebih awal. Malangnya, kerana hotel ini telah ditempah sepenuhnya, ia tidak boleh dinaik taraf. Akhirnya, saya secara sukarela melepaskan dapur (apartmen/studio) dan menurunkan taraf, dan mendapat bilik dalam kategori ”bilik selesa”, yang juga sangat luas dan tenang. Walau bagaimanapun, kakitangan sangat ramah dan akhirnya memberikan kami penyelesaian yang baik. Itu pastinya bukan kali terakhir di hotel ini.

As we were driving wanted a hotel with parking and walkable to town centre so chose this hotel based on TA reviews. Parking booked and available although EV chargers were not working which was annoying. About a 20 minute walk to Old Town that was flat and easy. Hotel staff were all professional and helpful and my lack of German wasn’t an issue. Room was a good size, spotlessly clean. Air con worked very well, especially as it was hot on our visit to Osnabruck. WiFi quick and stable. Breakfast was average. Nothing wrong just not special. Bed was comfy. Big bathroom with easy to operate shower.

We had to go to the reception everyday because of issues with the keycards not working. Stayed 7 days in total, 2 couples with 2 rooms. Our room was away from the club, so we would only hear people outside and ofcourse the ambulances, since the ER is down the street. The other room got heavily disturbed by the club until 6am even with windows closed, glass was shaking from the bass and they barely got any sleep. We also have been told on the day we arrived, that the spa would be open from 19-22 only to figure out on the last day that they meant the Sauna area. Could have used the whirlpool everyday but missed out on it because of the staffs poor english skills. We had to use Google translate to ask for a new towel at the reception. We also overheard the cleaning staff talking really judgemental about the amount of empty bottles they have found in our rooms. Overall the hotel was really clean and modern, the restaurant food was good and the drinks were tasty. We will chose a different hotel next time.

Zimmer: Wir hatten das Familienzimmer Nr. 306. Es liegt im 2. OG, nach hinten. Das Zimmer ist zwar klein, aber total funktional eingerichtet. Doppelbett (1,60m breit?) und zwei Etagenbetten. Zum Zimmer gehört ein Bad mit WC, Dusche und Waschbecken. Alles war sauber, es gab nichts auszusetzen. Die Betten waren ausreichend hart, das Zimmer war nicht zu kalt und nicht zu heiß. Ansonsten ist eine Klimaanlage vorhanden. Service: Der Empfang war nett, alle Fragen wurden umgehend beantwortet und die Formalitäten waren schnell erledigt. Frühstück: Als wir Sonntagmorgens gegen 9:00 Uhr zum Frühstück gingen, haben wir einen temporär ungünstigen Moment angepasst, vieles war nicht mehr verfügbar. ABER der Zustand hielt nur ca. 5-10 Minuten an. Dann gab es wieder alles in ausreichender Anzahl: Normale Brötchen, ca. 5 Sorten Wurstaufschnitt, 2 Sorten Scheibenkäse, Friachkäse, frischen Obstsalat, mehrere Müsli, mehrere Marmeladen, Nutella, Ei, und einiges mehr. Viele Milchprodukten waren Bio- Produkte von Andechser. Der Früjstücksraum ist sauber, schön groß, sehr hell und mit direktem Blick auf den Bahnhof. Fazit: Wir würden wieder kommen. Definitiv.

Das Hotel liegt an einer Hauptstraße. Im Zimmer hört man bei geschlossenem Fenster ( im Winter) nichts- allerdings kommen wir aus einer Großstadt. Das Hotel hat einen großen, kostenlosen Parkplatz. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und passabel eingerichtet. Eine Renovierung wäre jedoch schön. Das Bett ist ein großes Doppelbett und sehr bequem. Unser Bad war klein, das der Freunde groß und auch mit Fenster. Aber es war in Ordnung. Hier sollten jedoch die Handtücher dringend erneuert werden da diese grau vom Waschen und ziemlich ausgefranst waren. Was störte war die Hellhörigkeit im Zimmer ( Dusche von der Etage darüber war sehr zu hören). Die Tür schließt schlecht (durch einen Automatikschließer- das nervt ein wenig)- Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr groß, schön, hell und modern. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend! Eine große Auswahl an Brötchen (von guter Qualität), Brot, Margarine, Butter, Marmelade, Honig, Wurst, Käse, Ei, Rührei, Saft, Quark und Joghurt, Obstsalat usw. Auch Kaffeespezialitäten sind ohne Aufpreis zu haben. Der Weg in die Stadt zu Fuß in 20 Minuten möglich- alternativ: per Bus. Das gute, vielfältige Frühstück, der kostenlose Parkplatz und die guten Betten lassen über die kleinen Mängel hinwegsehen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Hotel Adelhoff liegt günstig in der Nähe zum Bahnhof und zur Altstadt. Wir wurden nach Ankunft überaus freundlich und mit leckerem Kaffee begrüßt und unser Zimmer war bereits vor der offiziellen Check-In-Zeit verfügbar. Die Einrichtung, Ausstattung und Funktionalität des Zimmers haben voll überzeugt. Alles war modern, hochwertig und sauber. Wer geräuschempfindlich ist, stört sich eventuell an der Straße - wir haben die Autos beim Schlafen jedoch kaum gehört. Klare Weiterempfehlung.
