A couple of weeks ago some friends and I spent 3 nights at the Pousada Classica which, I must say, is very pretty and well located. However, upon checking out, I was very angry and disappointed at the way I was treated. I requested that my car be brought to me from the pousada garage, where it had been for a couple of days, driven by the pousada employees. Not once I drove my car in or out of the garage. To my surprise, I found yellow scratches and a dent on the passenger door and fender, consistent with the color of the garage rails and posts. I immediately showed the problem to the pousada employees who, in return, dismissed any responsibility and even tried to convince me that I must have caused the damage myself some place else. I asked to speak to the manager who supposedly was not there at the moment and was told that he would contact me later. It has been a couple of weeks since the incident and I have not received any calls or messages from Mr. Nerlei Fialho, the manager. I took pictures of the damage and reported the incident in the hotel book but have not received any response. It's unfortunate that a pousada like that has no respect for its guests and I do not recommend staying in a place that treats its guests this way!
