Nachdem ich mich bereits zum empfehlenswerten Frühstück geäußert habe, ein paar Worte zur Umgebung. Die ist schon ziemlich hässlich und gute Bars gibt es erst in 500 m Entfernung . Wer einen besseren Kaffee möchte, dem sei die Bar "el Rincón" (Foto) empfohlen. Zum Einkaufen gibt es Alimerka und Dia Plaza. Billig tanken scheint es nicht zu geben. Das Personal war beim Frühstück eher nicht anwesend, ansonsten kompetent.

The hotel is quite adequate, that is, if you are there for sightseeing. No frills, the basics and it works nicely. But, well, the evening staff at the bar/restaurant (2, 20 somethings--males) have some major educating on restaurant service. The first night our bill was missing the wine on our bill---and as a former manager, I immediately brought this to his attention. He and his coworker thought this to be quite funny---not knowing enough Spanish, I didn't quite know what they were saying to each other, but he re-did the receipt to include them. The second night my husband and brother-in-laws meals were not included on the receipt. Also, at one point we wanted to order more drinks, and our table cleared, and waited and waited and waited, finally from where we were sitting, I stood up only to see the two coworkers fully engrossed in a fashion website on the computer! Got his attention after quite a bit---he brought the drinks but our table (both nights) never got cleared before we left. We were pleasant and smiled through both nights thinking it might make a difference, sadly not. We observed others there and their treatment was also the same. I wouldn't want him and his coworker to lose their jobs, but, some MAJOR training in customer service needs to be done. If it wasn't for the restaurant snafu, We would have given this place a solid 4 stars. But, because of the restaurant service issues ONLY, we will only give it a 2.5 out of 5 stars.

All the negative reviews about this delightful hotel are rather unfair. In my opinion, the utilities, service, comfort and cleanliness of our stay and room commensurate with the price that we have been charged. The location is great. We walked from the hotel to the city centre and walked through a few neighbourhoods and got a glimpse of the locals' lives. Parking at the basement of the hotel was very reasonably priced and convenient. Roberto at Front Desk was excellent in every aspect - warm smile, friendly information about the city, and so polite and respectful. Breakfast, to us, was sufficient and varied. We enjoyed it very much, and have no complaints. Being Silver Accor member, we were given welcome drinks but were a bit disappointed that there was only beer or bottled juice or soft drinks. No cocktails, Ibis? Come on, be more generous next time :-)!

Standard ibis hotel, comfortable but basic. Slightly out of town, 15-20 min walk.

Really good experience from start to finish, the beds were really comfortable, the rooms were completely 100% soundproof, I couldn't believe it, Really clean, couldn't do enough for us, staff pleasant, Really good value for what we paid, Good Coffee, good Beer, 24 hour bar, and 24 hour service. Thanks to you all for a wonderful experience. x

We arrived late and left early and indeed I think rooms were in short supply as they phoned to make sure we were coming which I think is a good sign of it being busy. The staff were helpful and we had nice food in the bar area which was open late. The Asturian cheese plate of local delicacies was very good in particular and a nice touch. The rooms were ibis-y which is why I stay in an ibis. This was a satisfying stay.

Good value with comfortable rooms and en-suite facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bar area served well for breakfast, refreshments and if required an evening meal. The food was standard fare for breakfast and for the evening basic Spanish presentation - absolutely fine if you want to avoid the 30 minute walk into town. Location is a little out of town and we had two nights of the local cider celebration going on to 2 am!

This is a great hotel if you are young. Very clean, comfortable bed. Pillows are toooooo soft. Breakfast is OK, not as healthy as they think, no muesli, instead healthy cocoa pops?? Dinner was overcooked fish and chicken.. reheated perhaps. Still too much plastic in use.

El colchón estaba asqueroso, con unas manchas que apestaban, le ponian varias fundas y sábanas bien limpias encima y le echaban ambientador para disimularlo. Pero al acostarse eso era un asco. Pedí me cambiasen de habitación y estaba aun peor. No tuve mas remedio aue quedarme 4 días porque no tenía tiempo para cambiar de hotel, pero no vuelvo en mi vida. Por otra parte todo lo demás muy limpio y el personal muy atento y amable, pero lo de los colchones lo estropeó todo.

La habitación pequeña,el desayuno normalito y salimos con picotazos de alguna especie que habitaba la cama.Ruidoso.La recepción para ser un ibis me pareció la de un motel de carretera.No creo que volvamos a este hotel en una visita futura.

Hôtel facile d'accès en arrivant en voiture, situé en périphérie d'Oviedo, parking souterrain à disposition pour 7 euros. Bon accueil, chambre propre et calme. Accès au centre d'Oviedo en 15 minutes de marche. Satisfait de mon séjour.

Reservé este hotel por teléfono porque estaba cerca de la estación de bus, me dijeron 37 euros (-5% si me hacía de su club IBIS de fidelidad) y cuando llegué de viaje (de noche y tarde para buscar otro alojamiento) me cobraron 87 (menos el 5%), diciendo que el precio que yo le decía era inventado. Anteriormente comprobé en las plataformas que para este día rondaban precios entre 37-45 euros por lo que vi bien el precio y por eso hice la reserva. Al llegar de viaje y tarde me cobraron 87, por lo que fue un total engaño el precio que me dijeron por teléfono, y supongo que lo hacen para atraer a turistas o gente de paso. ¡Cuidado! Un fraude y un engaño. Al llegar tampoco me lo solucionaron, me dieron una hoja de reclamaciones y me dijeron que me quejara que daba igual, que no se iba a hacer nada. Si comprobáis sus precios, rondan los 40 euros o menos en estas fechas, por lo que es un total fraude de publicidad engañosa.
