Aria Claros Beach & Spa Resort – All Inclusive 24H

Hotel is disgusting food coverd in flys the sea view room was filthy!! Reception staff rude I became sick 2 days in my son then ended up in hospital over there unwell and a severe rash then my other sons caught it, absolute nightmare filthy vile place absolutely stinks of sewage 1st time going abroad it's put me off ever going turkey again

Stayed here July 2024, RESORT - First of all the resort is lovely itself but I’d say it was abit dated neither the less nice to look at and fairly clean around the resort etc. downfall is the resort is set on a hill so please beware of all the uphill walking from hotel/ pools/ rooms. I honestly felt I had booked in for a week at a boot camp, as I had 2 kids in pushchairs, they do offer a golf buggy service to and from hotel/rooms and there is a little Aria Claros minibus that goes to and from the hotel to pool area. All included so make use of these if needed. Kids loved the kids pool and the choice of chutes, older kids loved the bigger chutes. Kept them all entertained for hours. They also pulled out inflatables (goal shooting, small bouncy castle) one day which kept them amused for an hour or 2. All in all pools and chutes pretty much made up for the rest of holiday for us. Apartment/rooms - apartments for families are situated down the hill then up another hill from the hotel. Met with flights of stairs. Hard when you have 2 pushchairs needing to take up and down a few times a day. Rooms are basic. Sheets are old and can do with updating. Felt the balls of material on the sheets as they were fairly worn. We asked for another room as the stairs were too much to handle after tackling the steep paths from the pool area. But we’re told they were full and could not change us rooms. 3rd day in and my daughter had sat on the bed after coming up from the pool. She was still wet. My partner flipped the mattress to be greeting by a filthy underside infested with bugs at the top of the mattress. The mattress also appeared to be stained with mould.. You could see them crawling about with eggs next to them stuck in the grooves. My skin was crawling thinking me and my kids had slept in this. Went to reception who told us they would give us a new mattress. 30 minutes later someone showed up to clean the mattress. I refused and said I definitely wanted moved rooms now. They were accommodating to this and switched us rooms. Not what you want in the middle of the week with 4 children. I checked the new mattress but it was fine. Bonus was we got moved on to a ground level apartment. The mini bar in the room is very dated in both rooms we were in. It took 2 days from switch on to get cold and make anything in the fridge cold. Water was warm for 2 days before it began to cool. No soft drinks in the fridge just bottles of water each day. Sofa beds weren’t very comfy either for the kids. Rooms could really Do with some updating. FOOD- i am vegetarian and found it hard to find a good meal. There was plenty of salad type food but was crawling with flies. Flies were in almost every platter of food at the restaurant. On the eggs, on the meat. On the cheeses, in the salads, on the cakes … everything had flies landing all over it. Really off putting. Even the meat eaters I came with found it hard to find food worth filling their plate, Kids basically lived off c

We stayed here for 7 nights 7th August - 14th August as a family of 5. 2 Adults & 3 children aged 14, 10 & 6. We stayed in room number 7274. This hotel is definitely not 5* UK rated more like a 3*. The 5* would be Turkish rated. It's very very hilly so be prepared to lose some weight haha. You can get golf buggies to take you up and down but we enjoyed walking everywhere The accommodation - very spacious. We had our youngest in the same room as us and the other two had there own room. Both bedrooms had AC that worked well. Each bedroom had plenty of wardrobe/storage space for everyone's clothing etc. Both bedrooms had a TV. The safe was simple and easy to use. I only had a couple of gripes about the accommodation which was the lighting and the flooring. The lighting in the bathroom was shocking absolutely appalling couldn't see much in there at all and then there's the wooden flooring that was lifting in the main bedroom that we had to wear our sandals all the time because we were afraid of getting splinters. Plenty of power cuts overnight as well which was quite annoying especially when my daughter was sick one night and we couldn't see a damn thing. The food - Main restaurant - breakfast, lunch and dinner.....leave your manners at the entrance door because others guests sure as hell did!! I absolutely hated meal times. The queuing for food just got stupid. When I did eventually get food it was ok couldn't complain. The flies though they were relentless! Oh and they nip! Hotel definitely needs to invest in fly zappers everywhere especially in the food areas. Couldn't comment on the entertainment as we never made it that far into the evening as the kids were too tired. Pools & beach were great, kids absolutely loved them. Yep if you want a sunbed it's that 7am get up and one job. Now I have read people's reviews about the staff being miserable etc this is simply not true. The staff work really hard in this hotel if they seem miserable it's probably because they have to deal with rude people on a daily basis I found each and every member of staff I spoke to very pleasant and willing to help with anything they would always high five the kids. All in all we had a good relaxing holiday and the weather was absolutely spot on.

This is a beautiful hotel and that is the best thing about it. It’s in the middle of nowhere. Set within a mountain so very hilly with a lot of walking up/down steep hills. Expect 20k a day steps. No bars or pubs out of the hotel into town either not on the high street or beach.
