The interior was amazing - every detail in the house screams Italy! Breakfast is also great - home made pastries of different kinds, prosciutto and village cheese - the best breakfast we had during the holiday ever! If you’re visiting Padua (or any nearby Italian cities this place is a must for your stay!) ✨

Great stay! The location is amazing with big rooms with Italian specifics and a beautiful garden, 30 minutes by foot to the center and 10 by car. The breakfast was great and Filippo is an excellent and helpful host - he helped us with directions and restaurants recommendations. We visited Pienza after a talk with him and it was best idea ever. 5 stars!

We were on a 1 week city break taking in Bologna, Padova, and Venice. Our best experience was in Padova thanks to Filippo and his family. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt as if we were part of the family. Our room was lovely and homely, the breakfast was great. Filippo's advice on what to do /where to eat in Padova was invaluable. I'm sure we'll be back. Padova, a great destination in it's own right, is in an ideal base to visit Verona, Venice, Bologna, Ravenna, etc - car and rail links are all excellent. And frankly I'm not sure that there would be any better place to stay than Casa Camilla.

Cozy, clean and very comfortable apartment with all you really need while staying with family. Feeling as we were at home.. warm and friendly host family, giving you recomendations about restaurants and great aperol spritz place nearby. Filippo is the best guide for Padova, as we stayed one day we have succeed to see the main locations and his recomendations were valuable. Definitely hosts and premises where we would like to come back! Magnifico!❤️❤️❤️

From the moment we arrived Filippo was the gracious host. We were invited into his home, which was much more than a regular B&B. From all his help with directions, the location and where to visit, Filippo went beyond any other host we have met before. Our room was exceptional with beautiful frescoes on the wall and cleaned every day. Breakfast was generous with many different homemade offerings. And to top it all, Filippo took us in his car back to town in the morning. All in all, it was beyond our expectations.

The location is 5 minutes off the main road yet is in a very quiet neighborhood. The accommodation is family run and it was lovely to meet the host's parents and wife, we were greeted with a coffee and a piece of homemade cake. Ample parking off road and the rooms are lovely with the walls being hand painted with pictures of birds. The host is very friendly and knowledgeable and has prepared a guide to Padua, which is 20 minutes by bus to the historic center, which is well worth visiting. There are various restaurants close by but we did not try them as we met up with family. The buffest breakfast had everything and you would certainly no go hungry. Filippo ( the host) is a delightful character with plenty of information, books and pamphlets on things to do and see in the area.

To be honest, everything went well - from the initial check-in to our departure. We cannot praise our host, Filippo, and his family high enough as they went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. Breakfast in the garden was a delight with so many individual touches. Our apartment, which was in the annexe, some 100 metres from the main house, was comfortable and more than met our needs. Filippo took us into Padova on the first morning of our visit and equipped us with the information that we needed to discover this wonderful city. He is justifiably proud of Padova. The next day, we went to Venice and this time Filippo's mother took us to the railway station. We should add it is an easy matter to get the bus back from the city to Casa Camilla - just a short walk from the bus stop.

Brilliant time. Our daughter is an exchange student at Padua University. Filippo was really helpful with giving us information , very knowledgeable about the area. Excellent English . Wonderful breakfasts with home made cakes. We stayed in the suite which was exactly as described. We loved the local family feel to it whilst also respecting our privacy.

Casa Camilla is a warm home run by Filippo and his dear parents. If you are visiting Padova for the first time it will surprise you positively and overwhelm you with its cultural and art offerings. The people of Padova are warm and the food is great. But we enjoyed our holiday so much more because of Filippo and his family. Their hospitality leaves you lacking for nothing, the breakfast is great, the house, the rooms and the wonderful garden all perfect. We loved interacting with Filippo and his parents who were so warm, genuine and helpful. They work really hard to give their guests a great stay in Casa Camilla. It is worth experiencing Padova by making Casa Camilla your home away from home. You will love it.
