The Haldon Guest House

One of the best guest houses I've ever stayed in. Comfortable room, superb breakfast, staff couldn't do enough for you, great location. 2 mins from beach and 5 mins from town centre. Would recommend for long or short stay.

It was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely well run GH. Graham and Cat are just the best and made you feel welcome. Like you have known them for years. Food top class room was lovely, comfortable and clean and everything we meeded. Can't wait for next visit Carole and Marcus Smith and Harvey. Bridgwater.

Lovely B&B, the owners are very welcoming and attentive. Great value for money, lovely breakfast, with plenty of choice. Our room was cosey and very clean. All round lovely place to stay, great location and would definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic family ran guest house. The owners make give the beautiful clean guest house that something extra special than the others . They are so friendly and helpful. The guest house is situated in a perfect location, especially for families and beach lovers like myself. A few minutes walk from the sea front , pier , fun fair and restaurants and the town . Everything is on their doorstep. Clean and comfortable rooms with those little extras like the teas , coffees and toilet rolls often being replenished . The breakfast is amazing! My sons exact words each morning were “ these are the best scramble eggs I’ve ever eaten “ with high quality cooked breakfast, and homemade danishes . Freshly made coffee and juices . This was our second stay at the Haldon and we are looking forward to our next trip in 2023 .

Fantastic guest house. Lovely couple who run it . They are accomodating , amusing and make you feel so welcome . Breakfast is lovely . And you are a few mins walk to beach or town . We all had a lovely stay and will be back .

I had a really lovely one night stay here on a whistle stop tour of Paignton. I was a short walk to the station and right near the pier and beach. I found the room to be very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Graham and Kat were lovely and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Paignton.

Very nice traditional guest house run by a lovely couple. Situated in Beach Road and a few minutes Walk to the beach and bus and train stations. Good choice at breakfast time with full English, fruit cereals etcetera. Really enjoyed our stay so much to do in this area

Have visited before and each time I go I am never disappointed. The hosts make you very welcome. The breakfast is 1st class as is the room, no complaints what so ever. Ideally located for the beach, the town and surrounding towns.

Graham and Kat are 2 of the nicest hosts you will ever want to meet. They turned a difficult trip for me into an extremely pleasant one. Breakfast are lovely. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Everything you need to do in Paignton is right on your doorstep. I have stayed in several different B&Bs in Paignton over the years.. all of which have been lovely but the Haldon is a cut above the others. Thanks for a lovely stay. See you next year
