Amber Dale Luxury Hotel & Spa, Munnar

Overall, it was a memorable and fantastic stay for us, for 3 nights—during 17th till 20th Jan. The one thing that we would remember Amberdale Resort & Spa the most for: is the STAFF. We will cherish the smiles; the service; the little n big courtesies and the care everyone took of us! Everybody smiled, greeted, enquired if all was alright and never was there any frown or any lapse in service— be it in housekeeping or at front office or in the restaurant or spa. Wish we could remember all the names, but that being difficult, we would like to express heartfelt ‘thank you’ to: Sayanth, Ann, Payal, M/s. Jinoy, Sarang, Sandeep, Sabin, James & Malem, Neethu and team. The ‘Forte’ of this place comprises: the staff, the views, the service, the cleanliness and the food. The rooms are spacious and clean. We stayed in the Ananta room and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Overall, the premises are well-kept and the atmosphere is warm. We loved the daily evening tea-snacks and the cooking session too. The night sky view from the 3rd floor terrace is also quite spectacular. Our experience at the Spa was very fine too! In the restaurant, the experiences during breakfast, lunch & dinner were made fantastic by the food, the attention to details and the service! A few suggestions are: The activity room (where board games etc are kept) could be cleaner and well maintained. The cutlery/mats etc in the restaurant area could be better. If a brief (15-20 mnts) yoga session too could be held on the 3rd floor where tea is served early morning, it would be much appreciated by all guests including the foreign guests. We stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite, it was a great experience. The staff is very polite and helpful, the food is good. The view of the valley was amazing and amenities in the room were good. All in all it was a great stay.

The property was at the best location in munnar as the view from the room is superb. The madura honeymoon room was the very good very specious room and have a jacqusiee in it . Hotel staff was very good and friendly in nature. But the resturant food is not good and resturant staff service was very bad.. Front office staff and room service is excellent ...

We booked their Ananta valley view rooms. Wonderful experience. One of the best property location wise. View is just breathtaking. I do feel there should be a pool. For the staff, they’re extremely courteous and polite. Our stay was quite comfortable. Will definitely return and recommend to others as well.

Amberdale stay is very nice...find is very tasty....staffs are very helpful......all activities are we enjoyed........the room view is very beautiful....we enjoyed the stay .....all are good....

I booked a room at Amber Dale Munnar for two nights. From the start of the trip to the end, I loved my stay here. The people in the hotel are very calm, like the Munnar climate; they are very cool. And they engage in talking to you nicely. The room at Amber Dale Munnar offered a breathtaking view of the valley, a sight that was a perfect blend of lush greenery and a picturesque sunrise. The food served was nothing short of excellent, adding to the overall charm of my stay. Thank you very much to everyone, and my special thanks to the person in the restaurant from Trivandrum; he is a very nice guy, we had a lot of talks, but I didn't get his name. :) Without a doubt, my next trip to Munnar will see me returning to Amber Dale Munnar. The hotel's impeccable service, stunning views, and delectable food have left an indelible mark, making it my top choice for future visits.

We were really happy with our stay at Amberdale. From the first greeting until the end everything was perfect. The staff are very attentive, friendly and kind. We loved the welcome necklaces. On our first day we were so tired from travel that we stayed asleep almost missing breakfast. One of the ladies thankfully called us to remind us that it finishes at 10am. This was much appreciated by us! The food was great - delicious food great variety. My son's birthday fell on the day we arrived, I informed the staff and they offered him a complimentary birthday cake at breakfast with his name on it. It was a very kind gesture which made his birthday more memorable! We enjoyed the cooking demonstration and would have loved to do the hikes but they were cancelled while we were there due to the presence of tigers! Athira at the spa gave me a great Ayurvedic massage and was very friendly and professional Oh yes and the views are out of this world!
