Globales Palmanova

Our second time at this hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean with comfortable beds. No problems with cleaning, just put the tag on the door and your towels in the shower if you want them changing. Food is varied, very Spanish (but isn’t that part of the reason that you go to Spain) we paid for premium again, we feel that it is worth it especially if you are there without kids. This hotel is in a great spot for getting to the seafront and the shops/ bars. The only negatives, entertainment didn’t start until 9.30 and was a bit ‘hit and miss’, ( the animation team were great) I feel that the drinks are maybe watered down, I could drink g&t all night and not feel like I had drunk any alcohol, and I wish that the sports bar had been open, maybe as adults only, it would have been nice to have somewhere to sit in a quieter area in the evenings away from all of the kids running around. I agree the birds eating the food in the pool bar is an issue, maybe only opening one of the doors and having the food fully covered somehow may help

Second time We have been at this Hotel and found it was mostly satisfactory The Good things were the staff who always had a smile and were very efficient.The Cleaning of the bedrooms were superb. Pool area good and Pool bar and snack area good The food in the main Restaurant was mainly good especially the breakfast but the Dinner and Lunch Did not reach a great standard at times in my opinion. It would help if some labels would also state the English Translation Full compliments to the Chef for the Sweets variation but some of the meat dishes were not too a lot of people's likes Entertainment was good and well planned One question is if you wished to have a. Quiet time in the Bar Lounge /entertainment area in the day you had to bring your drink from the pool bar which was inconvenient as the main bar area did not open until 1830 The last item is the Internet is not great as I had to use my network very often but overall Hotel Palmanova thank you for a great 10 Days Holiday See you again

Dear Management, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the experience my family and I had during our recent stay at the Palmanova Hotel Globales. We booked what was supposed to be a 4-star hotel, but unfortunately, the reality fell far short of our expectations. Poor Staff Attitudes and Lack of Professionalism Upon arrival, we were appalled by the poor staff attitudes we encountered at the reception, bars, and particularly the restaurant. The lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by the staff made our stay very unpleasant. As the parent of a 4-year-old son with autism and learning disability, I was shocked and embarrassed by the staff's complete lack of understanding of hidden disabilities. My son does not wear shoes or socks, and I was mortified when we were shouted at in the restaurant and told to remove him because he was in his bare feet. This lack of empathy and understanding is completely unacceptable. Staff require training on this matter. Inadequate Disabled Facilities The disabled facilities at the hotel were woefully inadequate. The absence of ramps available to the children's pool was a major inconvenience as we have a medical pushchair. We also witnessed a wheelchair user having to be lifted up steps to access the pool area, which was not only impractical but also discriminatory. It is appalling that in this day and age, such basic accessibility measures are not in place. Discrepancies in Facilities The children's pool did not match the pictures when we booked. The slide had been removed, and the water was turned off from the small splash area, which was a selling point for us in choosing this hotel due to our son's needs. Additionally, the cleanliness of the pools was deeply concerning, as they were extremely dirty, and it was evident that proper maintenance and cleaning were lacking. Housekeeping and Dining Concerns Despite requesting room floor cleaning and bed changes, the cleaners did not attend to our requests. The pool bar was extremely busy, with long wait times for drinks, and the food area had issues with birds entering and eating from scraps and bins. Furthermore, the restaurant did not offer a great choice for kids, forcing us to use the pool snack bar for our son's dinner, which only offered cold pizza or overcooked hotdogs. General Service and Accessibility The hotel's requirement of a 10 euro deposit for pool towels, the absence of water supplied in rooms or the ability to fill bottles from the dispenser in the restaurant, and the long waiting times due to only two very small lifts servicing a large hotel all contributed to our overall poor experience. Conclusion Our overall experience at the Palmanova Hotel Globales was marred by these issues, and it is clear that the hotel failed to deliver the quality and service expected of a 4-star establishment. I insist that these matters be thoroughly investigated and addressed to prevent other guests from enduring similar disappointments in the

hotel spotless. food above average although restaurant could be bigger and was very busy at times, the pool area is fine with plenty of sunbeds. the staff are very friendly and efficient. Only one complaint, do not rely on the hotel WiFi as non existent in lots of places.

I am currently here now, my husband booked this for my 30th birthday and we only have tomorrow left. But from what we have experienced this holiday we would most definitely return. The hotel is spotless and our rooms have been clean everyday! The food is better than what we have experienced in other hotels and have not gone hungry at all, even my little boy who is a fussy eater has eaten. Yes there are queues for drinks at the bar but the staff work hard! And it’s not like I’m in rush to go anywhere?!?! So don’t really understand why people are complaining. The pool bar food is now covered as they have added glass doors to everything so birds are not getting in! So the hotel clearly listens to people complaints and deal with them! My parents booked the vip area which they have loved the quality of the sunbeds and the top shelf spirits. We stayed in the regular area and it’s been great. The entertainment has been okay the entertainment team in the daytime is brilliant, but we don’t really like staying in too much we like to venture out and go for walks. But the area is great to get everywhere. Highly recommend the mini golf! Just outside the back of the hotel. Sorry for the long review. But seeing some, I just don’t think the hotel is getting the appreciation it deserves!

Just got back from a week's stay here - I’m going to write an honest review… brace yourself 😂 Positives: - Good location, near to lots of shops and bars. - Staff are super friendly and accommodating. - Entertainment team are super! They do the best with the minimum they have. Negatives: - Long ques for a drink as only 1 person serving. - Not enough sun beds for the amount of people you have staying, people also get up at the crack of dawn to fight for sun beds then disappear for the day leaving no one else to have a chance meaning the adults started to encroach on the kids side of the pool and rolling their eyes when the kids are having a good time!!?? You really should have a no sun bed reserve policy in place as it’s not fair!! - I’m sorry but the entertainment is rubbish, the entertainment team try so hard but for a 4* hotel it’s not good enough or maybe like someone said if your from the older generation. - We had cockroaches in our room and told this was ‘normal’ just step on them 🙃🤔 - The food is dire. If your a vegetarian or food sensory like me brace your self and I lived of chips and salad for a week. If you like everything you should be okay. The vegetarian bit needs to be bigger not just 2 little trays of vegetables. - Lastly the rooms are not suitable for families. I’m sorry but they just aren’t. They are tiny and my 14 and 5 year old had to top and tail on a tiny sofa bed. Had I known from the pics I wouldn’t have booked. You really should look at improving the rooms for families. I’m not one to moan or complain at all but this was my view of the hotel. It’s defo not a 4* maybe a 3* - jet 2 really need to look at the hotels and do a review as we saved up and paid over £2000+ for a week and although it was lovely to get away it defo was not worth the money.

My wife and her sister with brother in law and i booked 4 night stay in this hotel as our fav hotel sol palmanova was fully booked, this hotel is now our favourite Very clean rooms maids were very friendly and changed towels daily (very little english) After our 1st night we upgraded to vip €15 pp per day wow well worth it so many extras and no queuing during the day. you can hire your towels for €10 you get this back when you return towels safe in room for about €20 Restaurant was clean and food was good Breakfast let it down,we ate out for a full english not far from the hotel Please remember if you have a late flight home you cant always pay to keep room on as this hotel very busy,behind reception is a safe storage and your allowed a 10 min shower. Just 5 min walk out the back of hotel you have a great pub stadium 63 they have live bands on every night and open until 02-00hrs We will be coming back next year in the vip bit 👍 Dont let the many french ppl put you off 😂

Have just spent a week at the hotel,as a couple. Cleanliness, food and staff excellent. Main fly in the ointment is the poolside bar . 2/3rds of the area is unused apart from the uncovered bird feeding area. The rest of the area supplies a small selection of foodstuffs. The bar area is too small with half the space taken by ketchup/mayonnaise and mustard dispensers. Not uncommon for a 15 min queue for a drink, hardly 4 star. After all I wouldn't have to wait 15 mins for a drink in my local and that's not 4 star . Dread to think of the chaos in high season. Certainly not 4 star service. Sadly won't be back .

This was our second stay at this hotel. The food is good with staff friendly and the Animation Team organize games throughout the day. . It is handy for the front of the resort which is only a few minutes walk. The safe hire charge is very expensive at 80 Euros for 2 weeks ( 10 Euros back deposit). One thing that annoyed me and has been mentioned by another guest was birds eating food at the Snack Bar buffet. I noticed this several times, birds walking across the pizza and pecking at it. The managers response was that it was covered and staff were there to remove it this happened but that was not the case. Apart from that I would recommend this hotel.
