Ulasan Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay

Did not accept us to check in at 2pm until i showed my confirmation. Booked for 3 persons but only gave us 2 towels. Empty parking space. Good choices for breakfast.

Positive Feedback: I enjoyed my stay at Sequoia Hotel, especially because the room was spacious and perfect for families. The addition of a sofabed was a great touch and added to the comfort of the space. Negative Feedback: Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the pool. It had a noticeable smell and seemed to lack proper maintenance, which made it less enjoyable. Reason for Booking: I chose this hotel for its convenient location. It's walking distance to City of Dreams, where I work and perform as a singer at night. Special Occasion: We also celebrated my papa's birthday during our stay, which made it even more memorable.

I really appreciate the service they did for my mom when we checked in! I told them days ago that it was my mom’s birthday. They took note of that and made the room extra special with the neon light and the towel art. They also took note of the extra bed la we requested really well! Staff are really accommodating and friendly. :)

Location: 5/5 The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the main shopping district and some great local restaurants. If you're a tourist, it's ideally located for exploring the city's major attractions. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to the nearby museum, which was a nice touch! Check-in/Check-out: 4/5 The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. However, there was a slight delay with my room being ready (about 30 minutes past check-in time), but the staff apologized and offered complimentary drinks while I waited, which was appreciated. Check-out was equally easy and fast. Room: 4.5/5 The room itself was modern, clean, and well-appointed. I had a king-sized bed with plush bedding, which made for a very comfortable sleep. The room also featured a large flat-screen TV, a minibar, and plenty of charging ports (always a plus). My only minor complaint was that the bathroom could have used a bit more lighting, as it felt a bit dim at times, especially in the evenings. However, the rainfall shower was amazing! Amenities: 4/5 The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar with great views of the city skyline, perfect for evening cocktails. The pool area was also nice, though a bit smaller than I expected. The fitness center was well-equipped, and I appreciated that it was open 24 hours. I did not dine at the hotel’s restaurant, but the breakfast buffet looked delicious, with a variety of fresh options. Staff: 5/5 What really stood out during my stay was the exceptional service from the hotel staff. Every team member, from housekeeping to the concierge, was attentive and courteous. They made me feel truly welcomed and were always ready to assist with any requests or recommendations. Value for Money: 4/5 While the hotel is on the pricier side, I felt it was worth it for the location and quality of service. The amenities and comfort level made it a great choice for a short stay. Overall Experience: 4.5/5 I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Grandview Hotel. It provided a great balance of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to stay in the area, and I’ll certainly be returning for future trips!

We booked a Deluxe King Room for 1 night here and we love our stay. The receptionist said that the standard check in time is 3:00pm but we were allowed to check in as early as 2:00pm. There was a ₱2,000 security deposit upon check in which is of course refundable. The room number given to us was 1202. It is a corner room and on the highest floor. Our room is in the corner and the window is smaller as compared to other rooms’. Our room is spacious. Bigger than what you would expect for a 3 star hotel. The room has basic amenities - cable TV, split type aircon, a safe for your valuables, working desk, a sofa, open closet, toilet & bath with hot shower. Even the bathroom is spacious. It has hair blower also and free 2 toothbrushes and ample towels provided during our stay. Our bed is truly a king size bed and we love how comfortable the bed was. Aircon wasn’t working perfectly, it’s either too cold or too warm which is weird. The room does not have enough lighting. The TV has cable channels but it’s not a smart TV so no Netflix, etc. We went to 6th floor to try the swimming pool. Surprisingly, we got it to ourselves. We enjoyed the pool for a full 1 hour without any other hotel guests joining us. We called housekeeping to request for towels and we were given right away. Pool bar is closed. Pool is not heated. We did not avail of the buffet breakfast. Hotel is walking distance to City of Dreams, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Parqal. Hotel has its own parking space for 3 levels.

It was a short stay but we have a comfortable night. The location is near the malls and very accessible.

Malinis, bago at malaki ang room. May parking, decent ang breakfast, magamda ang surrounding area.
